Chapter 2170: Time Comprehension

With heaven and earth energy reverberating before finally dying down, leaving behind more insights, the comprehension of intent came to an end. However, both Davis and Valley Master Jade Aurora didn't entirely stop their comprehension session, although the latter turned to look at Davis, wondering why he decided to share his insights or was it something said subconsciously as he understood that insight to a deeper level.

She felt grateful again, pursing her lips and wanting to say something, but afraid of disturbing his comprehension state, she closed her eyes and returned to a focused state.

Time pa.s.sed.

The phenomenon of heaven and earth energy reverberating descended repeatedly. Meanwhile, Davis and Valley Master Jade Aurora weren't worried that the calamity would unknowingly occur because they had stationed the necessary personnel to warn them.

He had Threelotus come here to inform and occasionally comprehend s.p.a.ce Laws. Since she also had a Solitary Soul Avatar, it was easier for her to react. As for Valley Master Jade Aurora, she had one of her trusted sect's disciples near the Alternating Time Flow Valley's entrance. As long as that disciple stayed and remained ready to respond to the calamity and warn her, she would be handsomely rewarded by the sect as it was considered a sect mission of the highest order.

Nonetheless, Davis and Valley Master Jade Aurora remained focused on their comprehension without feeling any worry.

Soon, the heaven and earth energy reverberated again, making it so that Valley Master Jade Aurora comprehended the next level in Time Laws. However, the clear pond that contained the essence of time had seemingly dried up to the last bit, not even leaving puddles in the pond.

Davis had his eyes closed, but they opened, revealing an archaic glint momentarily before that transient light faded. He recollected his thoughts before turning to look around, noticing that the pond had emptied.

'No wonder my efficiency lowered...'

A light smile hung on his face as he stood up and turned around, looking at Valley Master Jade Aurora, who already seemed to have dressed up. His brain froze for a moment as she stood there, witnessing his naked body and limp member that hadn't got a hard-on yet. She didn't even react, not even giving him a single blink as she stared at him.

""

Feeling uncomfortable, Davis used martial energy to make a robe for himself, his earthen martial energy turning purple as they mystically draped on him.

Soon after, Valley Master Jade Aurora moved and appeared before him, clasping her hands as she slightly bowed her head.

"Without your timely words, I wouldn't have been able to completely make use of this resource, and consequently, my comprehension level would still have been lowered. As the Valley Master, I feel ashamed for my seniority yet honored to have cultivated alongside you a supreme genius like yourself."

"You're too kind and polite."

Davis lightly smiled, pursing his lips in doubt if this woman even recognized him to be a man.

Perhaps, she treated him like a son or something after incurring too much grat.i.tude towards him? He couldn't help but think but didn't give too much thought to it as he gestured.

"Please"

Valley Master Jade Aurora adorably smiled behind her veil before she flew towards the hidden spatial node. However, Davis couldn't help but ask at this moment.

"Valley Master doesn't want their spatial rings?"

He turned to look towards the makes.h.i.+ft graves and the spatial rings on them, causing Valley Master Jade Aurora to look at them before her smile became p.r.o.nounced.

"Oh, I already took the needful but left their personal belongings."

"I see. Figures"

Davis chuckled as his initial guess seemed to have been wrong. Still, he respected her for being honest about it.

"Since we found this location and could be said to have fate as allies, I can share them if you want to- "

"No need."

Davis shook his head, causing Valley Master Jade Aurora to smirk.

"Good. There were some time-attributed treasures in them."

""

Davis couldn't help but blink before he let out a visible sigh, "Now I'm regretting my swift tongue."

"Hehe~ Do you want still not want it?"

"No need."

Davis smilingly shook his head, causing Valley Master Jade Aurora's expression to turn complex as she stared at his face with some gentleness. However, it quickly turned into a laid-back smile as she touched the hidden spatial node and disappeared, followed by Davis exiting this isolated cave.

The both of them then made their way up the valley.

However, what Davis didn't know was that it was Valley Master Jade Aurora's first time witnessing a man's anatomy other than reading books about it. She was momentarily stunned into speechlessness and witnessing that thing that she heard to be different than women, her eyes remained glued to it until he became dressed.

Finding herself at a loss, she quickly clasped her hand and complimented him as she had wanted to for a while already and tried to escape the awkward situation by exiting the spatial node but was held back by him, making her heart skip a beat before she realized that he was asking about the spatial rings and consequently decided to share the loot with him but he rejected it twice, causing her to inwardly sigh in respect.

Now, she was flying alongside him towards the peak, making her feel complex. She even occasionally glanced at him through the corner of her eyes as though checking out the surroundings for treasures, and it was so subtle that Davis didn't feel like she was looking at him in the first place as he was deep in worry, wondering what kind of loss he had today in this one week.

Soon, they exited the Alternating Time Flow Valley and ended up on the mountain peak, choosing to go activate the bone age formation to check on how many years they had lost while staying in there.

Two surges of light lit up subsequently as the results came out, shocking Davis and Valley Master Jade Aurora as they saw their bone age. They were sure that they had only spent a week from the time he entered the isolated cave, but their lifespans had decreased by a whole lot, causing them to freeze.
