"What happened back there?" Mr. Walters asked in a concerned tone.

"I didn't know he was going to bring her along."

"HER is his girlfriend Beatrice. You left out this piece of information when you told us all about Quincy," her mother reminded her.

"They just met, she's young, and they won't last for long. I just need to keep appearing around Quincy and lead her to misunderstand."

In Beatrice's mind, a 21 year old girl was still naive. What did Seraphina know about relations.h.i.+ps? She was not going to let go off Quincy. He needed someone like her in his life.

"Don't be the third party," her mother said with a hint of warning in her voice.

"Why not get closer with his family? You said he adored his grandmother. You can approach her."

Beatrice's eyes lit up when she heard her mother's suggestion.

"You're right mom. I was too rash. Dad, I'll need your help finding out his grandma's address," she said with pleading eyes as she turned towards her father.

"I'll help you. Whatever makes you happy."

The Walters family indulged their daughter to a fault. She was going to get a ryde rude awakening soon.

Same time in the Davis's family house.

*sneeze**sneeze**sneeze*

"I wonder who's plotting against me in the dark," Alice said.

"All those poor souls you've offended in your past life are finally out to get you," grandpa Davis said in a creepy tone.

"You can sleep on the couch tonight. Guard me against the souls and make sure to not disturb my beauty sleep," Alice retorted.

Poor grandpa was left speechless.

After the couple left the awkward banquet, they let loose and laughed out to their hearts content.

"High school year book really? So shameless Mr. Davis," she said after catching her breath.

"I mean, why else would she tell her parents about me?" Quincy asked innocently.

"Hmmn... maybe she confessed her love to her parents, and they finally got to meet their future son-in-law..."

"But I only have you in my eyes. Plus granny Jacob said I had the 'Jacob grandson-in-law halo' the moment she set her eyes on me," He declared proudly.

Seraphina shook her head at him, "I see why granny loves you. You're both shameless."

"Anything for you babe," he said, winking at her.

The couple sang along to the customized playlist as they made their way to the Jacob family house.

This was the first time they were meeting up with just the Jacob family. The biweekly gathering included all 4 families and invited close friends. Quincy was a bit nervous as they neared their destination. He was determined to make the perfect impression on his future in-laws.

One hour into the 'meal of the century'

"Granny, what are you wearing?" Summer asked as she scanned her granny.

"Have you guys done it yet?" Laura asked nosily.

"Do you need granny to pick an auspicious date for your copulation?"

"Who is brave enough to seduce this old woman's in-law!" Granny Jacob hollered.

"Why not have Summer move in with Quincy? It's more convenient that way."

"When do you plan on getting married?" Paul asked Quincy.

"Let's go pick out a s.e.xy outfit later. Let mom teach you the art of seduction."
