I didn't dress up, I just slipped into a nightie and a knitted Cardigan that was 3 sizes bigger. Even if there was a 'party' going on downstairs, I consider all that were present my family, I really didn't see the point in decking up all night in front of the people you love.

The party was fun, but I didn't join in much. A whole lot had happened in just 24 hours. First I learnt Mr. Gorgeous never really loved Chloe, then I discovered that he knew Michael way back, then I found out Michael had a girlfriend and he used to lead a cult group, then I went on to thras.h.i.+ng my whole kitchen with intense 'exercise' and.....whoops! the baby kicked again.

I sat alone, digesting the recent happenings in my life and kept wondering what other surprises fate would throw my way. I was so caught up in my own little world that I didn't even notice when Michael took a seat beside me.

"So, I heard the baby kicks whenever you place a kiss, can I try my luck?" Michael said playfully, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Well, it depends on the kisser. I think she only wants to feel one person's kiss." I winked at his fallen face.

"Come on, it's worth a try." He cajoled.

"Fine, but you're not kissing. Just keep your hands on till you get lucky." I smiled and he grumbled but placed his hands on the b.u.mp all the same.

"Michael I'm not happy with you." I started subtly.

"Yeah, I know. I kept a lot of secrets from you, I'm sorry." He said, stealing my thunder.

"Sometimes sorry doesn't fix things, you know right?" I said, feigning anger. It wasn't like I could stay angry at him for long, we both knew it.

"Really, but just sorry fixed things with your Mr. Gorgeous, why are you being unfair to me?" He pouted and I hissed, just when I wanted to reprimand him;

"She kicked, she f.u.c.king kicked Vee!" it was Michael, he was too excited that he forgot his manners.

"Bro, keep it low and stop cursing, you don't want our little Dayo saying f.u.c.k as her first word right?" He shushed like an obedient puppy , I wondered why he was so filled with joy.

"So tell me, how was the 'reconciliation' with Mr. Gorgeous?" He wriggled his brows playfully and my face heated up when I understood what he was hinting.

"Stop calling him that, I'm the only one permitted to call him Gorgeous." At that Mr. Gorgeous magically appeared.

"Oh really, don't be so possessive love, you can always look for another nickname. Mr. Gorgeous sounds like barf!" They both laughed at my scowl, I marched up, annoyed at their conspiracy, but happy that both men loved me than I can ever imagine.

"My water broke Ry." I cried into the phone, as usual I was at LEE-VEE's, The staffs were all over the place as I kept screaming and ordering in panic and pain.

"What!, s.h.i.+t." I heard him curse under his breath.

"Give me a few minutes baby, I'll be there in a bit."

"I don't have time Ry, I f.u.c.king need you right here by my side!" I screamed, startling both the costumers and employees.

"Calm down love, what are you doing now?"

"I'm f.u.c.king labouring!, come take me to a freaking hospital!" I wasn't even thinking straight anymore, none of the employees dared come close, I only wanted Ry. Ry was my new nickname for him.

"OK, I'm almost there, wait up."

"It hurts like h.e.l.l, somebody f.u.c.king call a d.a.m.n ambulance." I bellowed at my poor staffs, they haven't seen me this way before. They went helter skelter again, all trying to call the ambulance at once.

The ambulance came through the same time as Ry. He had stopped at our love nest to bring the necessary items I'd be needing. We had packed with lovingly as I neared my due date.

"You have to push, madam,pus.h.!.+" A paramedic screamed at me.

"Push love, you have to pus.h.!.+, push for Dayo, try to push." Ry was also screaming at me, in face everyone was urging me to push like I wasn't trying.

"Push darling, push for–" A tight slap interrupted him.

"I'm f.u.c.king trying!, have you gone blind?!" I screamed back, I was totally drenched in sweat.

"I see the leg!, the baby is coming with a leg!" A nurse screamed in panic. It was an abnormal birth.

"Christ!, she's losing consciousness." Another one shrieked as things were beginning to blur out. I felt a familiar hand clasp mine and a soothing voice whisper to my ears.

"You have to be strong Vee, this is the best revenge you can get on Susan, Kelvin and the rest of your family." With that I opened up my eyes.

"You have to push, it's going to hurt a lot more but please don't pa.s.s out." The head of the team stated.

"Take a deep breath and we push on count of 3, 1...2....3! go!" I held on to those hands like a lifeline and pushed with all my strength. The procedure was repeated twice before the baby glided into the world. My happiness knew no bounds as I saw the strongest tiny little life being handled by the doctor. I blacked out with my heart swelling with joy.
