"Thank you doctor, I promise I'll be careful in the nearest future" Mr. gorgeous' voice resounded in the room

"That would be all for now, if you'll excuse me,I have other patients waiting"

"sure doctor". As the left the room, Mr. Gorgeous knelt beside my bed,he wasn't aware I was already conscious

" I know little next to nothing about you, apart from your name and the fact that you've been through a lot,I also know you're a sweet creature,and a very strong woman. Whatsoever crime that b*****d committed isn't the baby's fault and she shouldn't be punished for her father's sins,she's innocent. I just wish I could tell you this without you thinking I'm getting too involved in your personal matters,to be honest I don't know why I want to be that person that you can turn to whenever you're in need,maybe because this could be my own path to redemption? ". I couldn't help but wonder if he was talking to me or himself, or if he even knew he was talking.

" I shouldn't pry into other's matters, I'll respect your decision, whatever it is". I slowly opened my eyes to see a tear stained face of Mr. Gorgeous,he hastily fished for his handkerchief and wiped them away.

"How are you sure it's going to be a girl?". I raised a brow curiously.

He flinched for two seconds before configuring his expression to the default better -than -thou calm expression.

" How long have you been awake?,it's bad manners to listen to others conversation you know?". He stood up gently and sat on the comfy sofa near my bed. Scrutinizing him, with his aura of calm authority, I was pretty sure he's wealthy.

"Are you going to answer the initial question Mr?".

" Why on earth do you answer my questions with questions?". I chuckled at his sweet attempt to divert the topic of discussion

"Why does it seem like you're avoiding my question?". He rolled his eyes like Lizzy used to whenever I'm being persistent, I just smiles wryly

" Can't you just let things slip?"

"Not when I deserve an answer"

"Oh G.o.d, you gave another chatter box to me as a gift, why Lord why?". He was thinking aloud again,this guy is amazing

" Do you always think aloud?, your secret would never be safe that way you know?", he bit is tongue like some kid that told a deep secret unintentionally, I couldn't help but smile in wonderment, can this guy stop being a cute little bun?

"Always smile that way,it suits you". He caught me smiling,I just sighed and made to stand up. He helped me with the water I wanted to take, gosh this man's girlfriend is lucky.

He was drinking the apple juice he bought earlier

and I relaxed in a sitting position

" So tell me 'hubby', when are we going for the ultrasound? ". He choked and coughed violently, obviously an exaggerated cough

" What did you say? ". I rolled my eyes

" I asked about the time schedule for my baby's ultrasound "

"That means you're not aborting anymore?"

"obviously". This man is actually very dumb

" I'll check with the doctor, and she's our baby OK?"

"isn't it too early to tell the s.e.x?" I sighed,what's with this man and female babies. He beamed and strode out of the room,he then turned at the entrance and looked at me sincerely

"Thank you". He was already out of my sight before I could say anything in return
