It had been two years since Ai had disappeared. Two very long years had pa.s.sed and during this time w.a.n.g had grown rather ruthless. Most of the Elders who had tried to force him into marriage was now locked into cells in the bas.e.m.e.nt of the sect.

The Sects leader was kneeling before w.a.n.g as he sat upon a newly made throne. The male was lazy as he leaned back, his chin resting on his left hand's knuckles. Crimson eyes glaring at the male below him.

Anyone would be able to tell that w.a.n.g was really upset. Not only did w.a.n.g lose Ai through whatever thing 'Rebirth', but he had also found that his cultivation seemed to be stuck in a rut. No matter how he tried, he wasn't able to get past the bottleneck that seemed to endlessly torment him.

The Sect leader and many Elders had tried to use this as a means to trick him. Often sending girls to his inner chambers to 'duel cultivate'. Hoping to not only break the bottleneck but a.s.sure whoever managed to get into bed with him a place within his harem he refused to build.

They gave up on the position of first 'wife' due to w.a.n.gs relentless. Though they had hoped to at least get him to take a concubine of some sort! w.a.n.g's so-called wife disappeared before them all, he wasn't coming back!

Letting a deep sigh out as he closed his eyes, his free hand waving slightly as two shadow guards that w.a.n.g had personally trained came out with a young woman that was in pretty bad shape.

Her clothes were torn, hair in a mess upon her head as she let out soft sobs as if horribly wrong. One would also notice that the girl's face was beaten until it was like a pigs head.

"I thought I made myself rather clear on my standpoint. I remember I had stated that I would not allow any females regardless of the reason to enter my private room. What more, not only did one enter, they even went as far as to tare ones on clothing and lie in my bed pretending to have been attacked by one's self." He stated with a bored tone

"Not only that Even went as far as to threaten that she'd say I had forced myself upon her if one didn't take her in as head concubine," his eyes open slowly as he looked to the girl who shuttered.

"I really do not understand how one would ever believe one such as myself would ever lay a hand upon something so filthy." His word was light as if talking about the weather. Though his eyes were cold.

"I had to teach her, that regardless of the filth she speaks, none would think it truthful." his tone left no room for argument.

The sect leader shuddered as he kept his head done, he didn't even dare to look over at the female that was shown to him. It was his own daughter, and he was forced to behave as if it were some vile beast that needed to be loathed.

He had thought his idea would have worked, his daughter was beautiful and well sought after. Not only that, if she said anything about someone hurting her, all would believe it even if it was shown she'd lied!

He really had no idea how the plan failed. What he didn't realize was that not only did w.a.n.g hate this type of temperament, he loathed females all together!

There was only one soft beauty that would ever have the pleasure to grace his bed. That was Ai. None would be able to hold that ability!

Thinking of his beautiful wife, his heart shuddered as he closed his eyes. He wanted so badly to find his beloved, but Hiu was still waiting for the rebirth to be complete. It was important that the Ice wolf focus absolutely on feeling for the rebirth to happen. Only then would they be able to find Ai when he was finally reborn.

The girl struggled to talk, her face was so mashed that her lips were unable to properly open and close. w.a.n.g was about to have the shadow guards end her life when the doors to the new throne room were tossed open. "My Lord! He's been reborn!" Hiu said as he hurried in, his large Tiger thudded into the room.

w.a.n.g sucked in some air as he stood up, his gaze moving to the large tiger. "Finally? Ah where!? Let us go!" he said hurrying over to talk with the Tiger ignoring the sect leader and daughter pair.

Now that w.a.n.g was no longer focused on the two, the father quickly hurried to take his daughter and leave. The shadow guards did not stop them, as w.a.n.g hadn't said anything. It didn't matter if the ran now, w.a.n.g would find them to deal with later.

"My lord, you are now ruling these lands as a newly found kingdom. You mustn't rush off!" a hurried tone said as a small eunuch made his way over. It was one of the few youths that w.a.n.g found to be moderately pleasing. Sadly he was made a eunuch before w.a.n.g employed him, otherwise, he'd have been a great aid and trusted advisor in court rather than a servant boy.

w.a.n.g still wanted him to be an advisor but the male refused, saying he should serve w.a.n.g as he was now, rather than in a political position. This way no messy matters would come about.

Looking to the male, w.a.n.g frowned as he seemed to be pleading with his eyes. The little male huffed as he looked at the larger male with a stern look. He was Little Sho, who often organized w.a.n.g's paperwork for him, helping him with many things. He was really smart, and with w.a.n.gs ability to lead others, they made a great team at running this newly made empire.

"Little Sho, He's born. I hae to go. The reason I made this Empire was simply to be able to find him ah! You told me yourself, that if one wanted to search without worry, I needed a larger ident.i.ty. If I can't go after him then what was the point of all of this?" w.a.n.g asked.

This was the only time w.a.n.g seemed more like a reasonable male. He clearly really did care deeply for Ai. He even made an Empire within two years just to be able to search for him without any resistance from other forces!

Little Sho sighed as he let his baring fall from that of a 'servant'. "Big brother w.a.n.g. When we met, you were in a state of such darkness one thought you'd really lose it and end up with demons in one's heart." the boy said with a stern look. "It took father great effort to prevent that dark seed from sprouting. Now you listen here, you promised that you would listen to what I said so long as I helped you with that little seed of darkness." the boy lectured.

w.a.n.g sighed as he nodded. "Yes I know, but I can't just let him be alone, what if someone else tries to s.n.a.t.c.h him ah?" he asked. His eyes flashed with a dark light as he thought of someone else taking Ai for themselves.

Little Sho rolled his eyes. "I'm not saying to not go look for him, but not to rush off like this! Make it into command of inspecting your newly acquired lands!" the boy said as if speaking to a dimwit.

w.a.n.g was rather smart, but when it involved Ai, lately he seemed to lose what smarts he had, seeming like an animal desperate to find its prey!

The larger males eyes cleared slightly as he regained himself, he adjusted himself so he was more like his normal self, calm and collected as he nodded. "Yes, Sorry. Thanks, Little Sho for the reminder," he said with a slight smile.

He really couldn't wait to find his wife again, and now he had a friend to show his wife! His first friend in this new world that he was willing to have around his beloved. Someone he trusted completely. He wasn't sure why he did, he just did.

Little Sho himself wasn't sure why his relation with w.a.n.g was odd. He wasn't Ai, and others really had no idea how to put heads or tails of this. Really, w.a.n.g was so hard to understand!
