Natural dark clouds were hovering above the skies of the city, adding the element of Mystery and dangerous to it, The translucent black towers that pierced the clouds looked similar to a dark spear thrusting upwards, The towers were erected in some form of uniformity that was meant for a special reason,

The city span across as far her eyes could see and it spans and filled across till the horizon, it bustled with activity and vitality, The air was rich with some unknown energy that seemed to calm down Fia's mind as she felt naturally refreshed, It was almost as if her body was continuously revitalized and her vision gained much clarity than before in the forest, The pain she experienced due to her rigorous travel was fading away from her body too as time pa.s.s by,

'Stupid G.o.ds! they could just have me Reborn directly in this beautiful city, But... NO!, Why do that, When we have Dark animals infested forest that could very possibly kill me again, Hypocritic b.a.s.t.a.r.ds If there's a way for me to become a G.o.d in this world, oh! If there isn't one I'll create a way And Let me tell you I'll become one and after that, I'm coming after you guys first'

She took one last glance at the view and walked near the entrance, The entrance looked gigantic, like two elephants could walk inside side by side and there were soldiers dressed in full black Armor with spears on their hands, There were several Horse wagons lined up waiting for the entry into the city

She decided to stand in the line like everyone else and waited for her turn, While she was waiting for her turn, She heard a familiar voice from behind her, saying "Where do you think she might have gone"

"Who cares she could be dead or Escaped for all I know," said Gail as a matter of factly

"Just stop mentioning about her already and focus on how much gold we could get for Lava Stone we got from that monster, We don't want anything a.s.sociated with Demons, do you want to lose your head, Gail" Illian threateningly Whispered from behind them, shutting them up instantly

"Its Great weather today isn't it?, Nemean," asked Gail diverting his ashamed face

"H-Huh?, Yeah it's great" stuttered Nemean, as they both covered up themselves with a false shroud of Dignity hiding their shame under it

"Let's just go already! stop embarra.s.sing yourself" berated Illian and they started moving forward skipping the line and Fia watched them leave, While the whole time throughout their conversations Fia maintained her composure and stood there with a carefree expression on her face

And now she watched the group show something to the guard, just after seeing it the soldiers took a more respectful and steady posture and allowed them inside promptly 'Huh, Who could have known? Merry Bunch must be some bigshot around here"

As Fia pondered about how influential the party that demanded this much respect from soldiers might be,

the group conversed between themselves

"Say Illiana, Did you find anything Odd about the Blonde girl standing in the line," asked Nemean with a thoughtful look

"Nope, I did find something odd about you though, you wanna known what it is?" said Illian copying the same facial expression as him, almost mocking him for his stupid thinking face

"Something Odd me?, W-What's odd about me?" asked Nemean puzzled as child

"you should stop ogling at every pretty girl you come across and act as a philander" Illiana scolded him

Nemean face instantly turned red with shame and walked with his head down in depression and didn't retort anything Illian said, seeing Nemean all depressed

"Bwahahaha"

Gail looked at him and burst out laughing, hearing him stupidly laughing out loud without even minding the surrounding environment, where a bunch of common people on their way minding their work looking at them weirdly, Illian felt embarra.s.sed standing with them and dropped her head in embarra.s.sment and walked forward

After waiting for about approximately 5 minutes,

It was finally Fia's turn to address the soldiers guarding the entrance, and standing near the soldiers Fia felt a strange aura releasing and encompa.s.sing their bodies, every one of these soldiers had the same aura, all of them wore a Metal helmet with a single Horizontal slit for their vision, hiding their faces securely, Impending Fia from making any judgments by their facial expressions

When Fia looked into the slit in their helmets to get a glimpse of how the soldier before her may look, She was greeted with something she was not expecting, looking through helmet gazing at her indifferently were a pair of eyes, that looked similar to a serpent's eyes, a Vertical red streak right in the middle of his eyeball that looked sinister, looking at the eyes, she thought 'So d.a.m.n cool'

Just looking at the fantastical eyes she went into a trance, but it was quickly ended by the hoa.r.s.e voice that was m.u.f.fled under the helmet "Lady, State your reason for seeking entry within the Blackstone City"

'O-Oh lady, they are talking to me?, Wait for a second, I'll come up with something real quick, that 'you'll totally believe me '

"I-I'm a Traveling merchant, I wish to purchase goods in this city to take back to my hometown to re-sell them," said Fia while putting on her most enthusiastic and bright smile possible

"Where's your Blood Medallion then?" asked the soldier back with his tone quizzical

"O-Oh! the Medallion, I left it back in my Hometown, Is there any other way I can meet the requirement to enter the city" asked Fia sincerely

After hearing her speak the soldier thudded his spear in the ground, making an audible sound and promptly as if answering his call another soldier came beside him with what appeared to be a silver cuff, that had intricate runes carved upon it, taking it from him he tossed the cuff to Fia and said in his authoritative tone

"Wear this and get the Blood Medallion or a Citizens Medallion of your Own within 2 Cosmic Time, If you steal, we will find it and you'll be killed and if you didn't procure any these mentioned Medallion you'll be killed, If you didn't want to wear the Cuff now You'll be Killed too, Now die or Get out of my sight, you filthy peasant!"
