Two Lives (Part 1)

Yeon Woo came back to reality.

“Come eat some rice before you go to kindergarten!”

“Yes, mother.”

His brother and sister also sat at the table.

Elementary school students ate rice in the morning first.

They helped his brother eat his meal.

Yeon Woo went back to the other world, and found he was in a n.o.ble’s tomb while being carried on the back of the dark elf.

His parents and their companions had a clean, safe home where they kept all the loot they plundered.

Like most babies, he wasn’t able to able to move around and thus had nothing to do.

Yeon Woo was only able to sleep and eat.

Yeon Woo yawned greatly as he stretched his mouth wide open.

“Babies sure do have boring lives, and I have to go through this twice. But inside the house there are some interesting things to see.”

His father, Rendall had a very well developed body.

As a man, whenever he went outside women couldn’t help admire his fine musculature.

He had the strength and speed to handle a sword with balance, incomparable to movie scenes, when he destroyed numerous fantastical monsters.

His mother Riga, was incredibly innocent and gave birth to him some time ago, but still had a slim figure.

Riga whispered tenderly, “Sweetheart, you need to take a break at home comfortably.”

Yeon Woo guessed his mom had a very happy marriage.

He would often become tired every time he tried to concentrate.

He would get sleepy, then wake up hungry again, after eating he went back to sleep.

Yet even after spending most of his time sleeping, he was still identifying the places atmosphere or situations.

“But are taught from the end of one ….”

As he ate well, time flew by.

After three months, he learned most of the important words that was often said.

But in the end, he was unable to understand most of the wizard Herz’s words.

Herz had often spoken to himself even when there wasn’t anyone else around.

“Mana with opposing characteristics … … to suppress the repulsing forces integrating … forming a whirlwind … the convergence of binding in … greater magic, pursuing a certain order on the matter.”

Herz moved near the fireplace and read a book after he came up from the bas.e.m.e.nt.

Yeon Woo with blinking eyes, through him learned the language.

“The language is so diverse and the meaning changes very much depending on the way its said. I learned a completely different meaning to a word than I had a month ago.”

Herz would often spend time imagining magical battles in his mind, seeing his enemies spectacularly defeated.

“Being able to wield three types mana simultaneously, the explosive rate increased to dramatically shorten the chanting …… Is this such a force capable of fighting with monsters then?”

Even at his age of Herz was curious about the unknown.

Rendall mainly used his physical abilities, but Herz counted on his magic.

In his inner-self he felt a deep and explosive power.

He could see a mysterious aura flowing outside when magic was practiced.

“That’s how people use mana. I want to see a magic I can learn …. ”

Then he saw the dark elf friend show up to help to clean the house and get the fire properly managed in the fireplace as well.

The time Yeon Woo stayed in the dream world had already pa.s.sed nine months.

Curiously, even after spending so much time in the dream world, the time in reality did not pa.s.s while he was soundly asleep.

The degree of finding piles of bones and skeletons of grave robbers was as common as finding burger restaurants on the streets in reality.

“Kya! kya! kya! kya!”

Yeon Woo screamed heartily inside the tomb.

However, those going … to tombs could not experience anything other than fear.

The larger the tomb the more traps, monsters, and strange creatures live in it.

Knives, arrows, and axes flew like toys.

“I think that the baby is scared.”

He could hear them talking for sure.The atmosphere soon changed when he sensed something like a horror movie and he shriveled up even more.

A pungent and disgusting smell, the smell of rotting corpses was very strong.

Even the sound of water droplets falling from high places sounded scary.

Suddenly, somewhere the arrows being shot and piercing the ground resounded and Yeon Woo was in the mood to crawl into a ball.

Human imagination sometimes created greater fears.

“Run from now on. Follow me!”

“I’ll go first, and do some reconnaissance on the traps ahead.”

Therefore we crashed to the ground while narrowly escaping the crus.h.i.+ng ma.s.s of rock.

The dark elves had unique vision and sleek body movements.

Therefore things ended well, but he felt he went through h.e.l.l.
