Looking back at the blue gla.s.s wall as her parents walked up the platform, another fantasy term popped into her head, 'Magic Barrier', though she strongly felt the science fiction aspect of the world, these few things made her remember that it was a magitech world like she had requested, knowing that none of it would have been possible without magic.

They reached the top of the platform and stood in the middle of the glowing circle, and after a few seconds, the surroundings changed in an instant.

Astraea guessed that the circle had teleported them, but such teleportation was smoother than any description of it she had ever read, most novels that she had read described teleportation as nauseating and having a bit of a delay in the transfer, but she had experienced none of that, though she a.s.sumed that this world had already perfected teleportation to some extent.

Astraea giggled as she watched and listened to the interaction between her parents, glad that they seemed to have a healthy relations.h.i.+p just from how they treated each other. She was willing to bet that both of them were childhood friends and they had developed their relations.h.i.+p over a long period of time.

She was very satisfied with the effect when it only cost 5.11% of her points, as it would help her a great deal when she started learning magic, as magic in this world had been developed to use complicated scientific and mathematical formulas, making all the great mages of the world great scientists and mathematicians as well.

Speaking of her points, she recalled all the things she had spent the rest of her points on so she would be able to go through them one by one.

0.89% had been used to compress all of her affinities into Neutral Magic. She had never been able to glean any information from the test she had done back at the hospital and could only a.s.sume that her affinity was high. Her effort at trying to use neutral magic by attempting every method she had read from fantasy protagonists had been rewarded with a small success.

She had finally been able to get something to happen when she had gone into a meditative state by using her enhanced memory to recall all the times she had gone into the zone and repeated the feeling over and over in her mind while banis.h.i.+ng all other thoughts.

When she had noticed that she had succeeded in reaching a meditative state, she started to focus on the entirety of her body and trying to imagine a type of energy flowing throughout it. She then had started to feel the flow of what she could only a.s.sume to be mana in her body and she focused on imprinting the feeling, which was quite easy due to her enhanced memory.

She had attempted to have the mana in her body exit by redirecting the flow, but trying to control the flow of mana in her body was much harder than trying to sense it and she was still attempting it until now.

2.58% had been used to integrate her shovel into a system in place in this world of Vanterio so she would be able to bring it with her on all her future adventures, with 0.76% spent on aesthetics and 15.66% spent on making it evolve and grow at a greater speed.

She had not once heard anything that could even be closely related to the system the being had been talking about and could only wait until she could get more information.

5% of her points had been used to increase her behavioral cuteness and it was actually the most active of her powers currently, working very well as babies don't consciously think when they do things, making any action that a baby does behaviorally cute.

25% of her points had been used to be able to decide how her body grows and how it changes and she had tested it the day they had gone home by desiring her baby body to have bigger eyes, grow hair faster and something more complicated which was that her body was able to absorb more nutrients.

She did this by remembering her appearance on the mirror that was thankfully added to the room, and comparing it every week to see any change. There were definitely some changes as she noticed that her eyes were gradually increasing in size when she compared the perfect memory of her previous appearance, though it was very minuscule.

She also noticed that her hair had grown a little thicker as well, and that her bodily messes were less...messy.

She was quite surprised at the relatively fast effect of her power as she wanted it to be slow in order to save points and gather less suspicion from others. She could only guess that due to being a baby, her body was undergoing a lot of growth and physical changes and it affected her power.

It wasn't much of a problem as she could reduce the speed by stating it in her desires for her body. The other effect of the power which was to slowly change her body based on the concept of 'cuteness' and it was working as intended, as she felt that she was cuter than a few weeks ago as it as subtly adjusted the shape of her face and body to become more ideal for cuteness.

Finally, the most important power that she had allocated 45% of her points for, the ability to charm others with her cuteness. She had tested this by leading her parents around the house by looking at a general direction and making sounds of curiosity and interest, and they had easily figured out that she wanted to go to where she was looking.

While they always seemed to go where she wanted them to go regardless of the location, she wasn't sure if it was actually her power at work or just parents wanting to dote on and do anything for their child. She would have to test it in greater detail when she was older or attempt another method. It was no trouble that she was unable to properly test it now.

She decided to focus on trying to control the flow of mana in her body as it was the only thing she could train and practice on.

There was no way she will idly waste these precious days, swearing to 'grind' for magic experience as much as she could.
