35 Mrs. Yan

Song Dei Si opened her eyes and she saw Yan Mor Tee's handsome face looking directly into hers.

"Hold on tight XiaoSi. I promise to take good care of you and our future children. Just hold on tight and just let me be." How he wanted to say these words to her to ease her pain but still he can only utter these words at the back of his mind. He had promised her he would never appear in front of her again asking her to love him. He promised to forget her anyway. He promised....

Song Dei Si couldn't read what's on his mind but she could sense the uneasy feeling that Yan Mor Tee was emitting from his face. How she felt sorry for putting him into this mess. She had a choice of letting him out of the hook. But she still has chosen and dragged him. She said to him that she had never loved him but why did she stay with him anyway?

.....

Song Dei Si affixed her signature at the marriage certificate in front of her. There you go, she was now officially Mrs. Yan and there was no turning back. From today's onward, she will fulfill her role as his lawfully wedded wife.

"Congratulations Mr and Mrs Yan." the Civil Affairs Officer has congratulated them. "May your union be blissful and bless you with beautiful offsprings."

"Thank you Officer Min. I will send you an invitation when we celebrate our union months from now."

Yan Mor Tee smiled at him. "We will be taking our leave now" he held Song Dei Si's hand when they leave the government office building. "Please keep our marriage certificate" He gave Song Dei Si the original copy.

"Did you say we're going to celebrate our union months from now?" She asked him while they made their exit out of the building.

Yan Mor Tee nodded. "Isn't it the right thing to do?"

"Am I going to live at the mansion?"

"Of course. You are my wife now so you have to live with me."

Her beautiful face were clouded with some wavering thoughts. If she will be living at the mansion, she will have to see Madam Yan everyday. But the mansion were so big so she might not b.u.mp with her. That gave her a sigh of relief. And how about her dad? Who would look after him?

"Are you worried that you will leave your dad alone in your apartment?" Yan Mor Tee asked.

She looked at him and nodded. She suddenly felt that he held her hand tightly.

"Don't worry. We will visit him regularly. We have to work double time so we can give him a grandchild whom he can play with." Yan Mor Tee teasingly smiled at her.

That made her face turned into crimson. Her heart was flushed with overflowing happiness that she can't explain.
