Tan Ja Nin was stunned and has stopped sobbing. How did Lee Jin Ho knew her apartment address? After awhile, she had thought that maybe Lee Jin Ho asked the address from her brother. Now, she was torn if she has to go out or should she invite Lee Jin Ho into her apartment. She decided to go out since she was the only one inside her apartment, and it was not proper for a lady like her to invite a male visitor.  But before she could tell it to Lee Jin Ho, she heard him spoke from the other line again.

"Can I come in?" 

Tan Ja Nin was startled. She didn't know what to say. 

"Tan Ja Nin?" 

She made a fake cough "Okay!" She agreed and made a deep sigh. After all, she had known Lee Jin Ho for ages now. If  something between them had happened before that was because they were both drunk. Now that both of them are sober, Lee Jin Ho should not be doing anything that she will not have permission right? She shook her head! Why was she thinking that something could happen between them again if they will be alone in her apartment? She was a bit terrified with her own thoughts. What was she thinking? Lee Jin Ho was someone who can be trusted right? And didn't he come to her apartment because he wanted to talk to her. They will just talk! 

She heard the doorbell ringing. She looked at the peeping hole and she saw Lee Jin Ho standing outside the door. 

Good thing, she haven't changed into her home clothes yet, but when she realized that she was crying earlier, she immediately went to the bathroom to check on herself. She was stunned and she saw how terrible she look. Her make up was already smudged all over her face. She immediately washed her face and dried it with the face towel. 

She heard the doorbell ringing again. 

She hurriedly strode towards the door. She collected herself before she opened it.

She saw Lee Jin Ho standing infront of her doorstep with worried face. 

"Please come in" She move aside to give him a s.p.a.ce so he could come in. He was still wearing a suit. She can't help but get mesmerized. She wasn't able to notice how goodlooking he was earlier because her mind was completely been shrouded by too much thoughts. 

Lee Jin Ho looked at Tan Ja Nin and saw that eventhough she hasn't changed her outfit yet her face was completely make-up free. He loves to see her face without any make-up on. The first time he saw her bare face was when she woke up in his bachelor's pad. Looking at her bare face gave him a feeling of looking at her true self. 

Tan Ja Nin felt uncomfortable with his stare so she asked him to take a sit. 

Lee Jin Ho sat on the couch on her apartment. He looked at the sorrounding and everything was neat and tidy. A bit dainty. He was wondering if it was Tan Ja Nin who maintains the cleanliness of her s.p.a.ce or if the Tan's has provided her a maid to clean it every once in awhile. 

"You had a great place" Lee Jin Ho said as he tried to open up a conversation. 

"Thank you. It quite small but just the right s.p.a.ce for me" She said, trying to sound casual as possible.

"Are you staying here alone?" Lee Jin Ho asked. 

"Yes, but mom visits me every once in awhile" 

Lee Jin Ho nodded. "Do you maintain the place?"

"Yes. It just a small s.p.a.ce so it wasn't that hard to tidy it up" Tan Ja Nin said.

Lee Jin Ho smiled. It quite a surprise for him that Tan Ja Nin wasn't dependent on their Mansion househelp to clean the s.p.a.ce. He always thought that she was like those other Young Mistresses that he knew who never knows how to clean their own mess. Great example was his younger sister, who doesn't even know how to tidy her own bedsheet every morning. 

"Do you want something?" Tan Ja Nin asked after awhile. It was just proper to offer something to a visitor. 

"What do you have here?" Lee Jin Ho asked. 

"I have some leftover food last night. Would you mind eating it?" She shyly asked. 

"Can you cook something instead?"

Tan Ja Nin was stunned. If she cook something for Lee Jin Ho, he might stay in her apartment for a longer time. She looked at her wrist.w.a.tch and it was almost lunch time. "Okay!" She said

Lee Jin Ho was astounded. He didn't expect that Tan Ja Nin knows how to cook too. 

"Make yourself comfortable here. I'll check what food I can prepare for you in 10 minutes." 

"Take your time" Lee Jin Ho said.

Tan Ja Nin furrowed her brows. Doesn't he have some work to do? 

"I am not that hungry yet." said Lee Jin Ho.

She nodded and went to the kitchen and decided to cook pork steak since Lee Jin Ho wasn't rus.h.i.+ng to come back to his office.

Since Tan Ja Nin's apartment wasn't that big, Lee Jin Ho can see her every moves in the kitchen from where he was seated. 

He can say that Tan Ja Nin wasn't that comfortable yet in the kitchen. He can say that Tan Ja Nin wasn't that expert yet when it comes to cooking. By the way she was behaving in the kitchen, it seems that she was still in the process of learning how to cook on her own. She didn't know even how to chop the onion the right way. 

He can't help but went to the kitchen to help her when her tears fell down because of the onion. He washed his hand and took the knife from her. "This is the best way to chop the onion. You need to avoid cutting the portion which the gases came out. Or you can freeze the onion first because cold normally slows the conversion of the sulfoxides." Lee Jin Ho explained while he was cutting the remaining onions. 

Tan Ja Nin was impressed and could not help but admired Lee Jin Ho's cooking skills. The truth was she started learning how to cook when he cooks for her on his bachelor pad. She felt bad that the guy like him can cook delicious foods while the woman like her doesn't even know how to cook a single dish. It was almost three months since she had started learning how to cook by watching some of the help-self guide videos. When she learned that Song Dei Si has enrolled in the cooking cla.s.s she almost wanted to enroll herself too but because it wasn't her priority, she has been contented to learn gradually on her own. 

"What are you planning to cook?" Lee Jin Ho asked after he was done chopping the onion. 

"A pork steak" she answered. She marinated the pork already because she was really planning to cook that menu for the day. 

Lee Jin Ho nodded and never left the kitchen to a.s.sist her. In the end it was Lee Jin Ho who had prepared the dish and she just watched him while he cooks. 

....

"You should not helped me in the kitchen, the smoked food has blended into your suit now." She said while they were already sitting over the dining table to start eating. 

"That's okay! I'm not going back to the office anyway." Lee Jin Ho said.

"I see." Tan Ja Nin said. She was about to reach for some pork steak meat when Lee Jin Ho took some and transferred it into her bowl of rice.

"Thank you." She said and has started to eat. While eating she doesn't know how to start the conversation again. She had thought that Lee Jin Ho came to her apartment because he wanted to talk to her but why wasn't he saying anything. Now that he was in front of her, she just realized that she had gone overboard when she rejected the offer earlier without having much thought of it. She decided with her emotions. She has failed to consider what would Lee Jin Ho would feel when she rejected his offer. She also felt bad with the way she treated Manager's Mo earlier. She should have also consider her feelings too. She acted like a brat earlier.

"Tan Ja Nin"

"Lee Jin Ho" 

They called out each other names at the same time. Both of them has decided to talk it out.

"You go first." Lee Jin Ho said

Tan Ji Nan nodded. She took a deep breath first before she started. 

"About earlier...I should have not acted that way. I was just surprised when I knew that the offer has came from your company. I was a bit disappointed because it came from you." She said and made a pregnant pause. "Of all people, why it has always to be you...."
