She was hurt because maybe they were right. She could have spent her money into something else. They won't need her expensive gifts because it doesn't have any added value to them. They were already used to having it anyway. 

She tried so hard not to cry in front of her husband, but she knew that any moment from now her tears will eventually fall.

"I feel awful. I know I've wronged Song Dei Si earlier. I should have just thanked her and should have not say anything more than that!" Master Yan said while he was driving. He felt bad when he saw Song Dei Si's expression earlier. 

"You have already apologized to her and it's up to her if she will still take it to her heart" Madam Yan commented. 

"I was insensitive. I know her intention, she only wanted to give us something that she knew will be valuable to us" Master Yan was still worried because he really like his daughter-in-law so much. He doesn't want to have a rift in his good relations.h.i.+p with her. 

Madam Yan looked at Master Yan and softly held his hand on the steering wheel and looked at the watched that Song Dei Si gave him.

"That really suits you well. She has a good taste!"

Master Yan looked at the watch and he suddenly felt joy by just looking at it.

"Anyways, your daughter-in-law is a bit daft. Didn't she know that even if she gave you a gift that only cost 10 dollars you would still appreciate it?" Madam Yan scoffed. 

Master Yan nodded. "She should have not spent her hard earned money. She could have save it to use for a more important expenses in the future." 

"Let's not fuss about it! I'm pretty sure Yan Mor Tee was with her when she bought these gifts for us. Your son wouldn't let her spend her own money. Even if she did, your son have agreed to it because he knew that Song Dei Si would still have his money. What the use of his money if his wife will not help him spend it anyway!" 

Master Yan smiled. "Right! Just like what you always did with mine"

Madam Yan laughed. "Because I have a generous husband." 

"Hey, you haven't opened the gift that Song Dei Si gave you! Why don't you open it now?" Master Yan said after awhile.

Madam Yan hissed "Why does it seems that you are more excited than I am?" 

"I just wanted to know what she had picked for you!"

Madam Yan shrugged her shoulder and took out the small box from her bag. 

She opened it and a beautiful necklace appeared on her view. 

"What is it?" Master Yan asked. 

"A necklace." Madam Yan softly answered. She took the necklace from the box and put it on her neck. 

"Let me see." Master Yan said. He took a quick glance at Madam Yan.

"It was beautiful!" 

Madam Yan hissed. "Your daughter-in-law really knows how to curry our favors." 

"Do you like it?" 

Madam Yan held the pendant and took her phone out to take a selfie with the necklace on. "Not bad!" She curled up her lips when she looked at her photo and saw that the necklace was really looked good on her. 

She opened her Weibo account and uploaded her second post.

Song Dei Si wasn't at her best self when she attended her cooking cla.s.s. She was a bit clumsy while they were doing their first hands-on activity. She almost broke the wine gla.s.s while she was setting up the dining table. 

Chun Ji asked her worriedly. "You okay?" 

"Yeah, I'm fine." She said and smiled at Chun Ji. 

Song Dei Si looked at Master Chef Li and his dark eyes was also looking back at her and was trying to give her a warning. 

She took a deep breath, and tried to compose herself and focus on what she was doing. 

"Okay, let's take a bio break for 15 minutes." Master Chef Li said when he noticed that her attention was still undivided. 

When she heard that, she immediately went to the comfort room because she can no longer held back the tears which was about to fall. 

She looked herself at the mirror. What she saw was a woman at her lowest demeanor. 

She shut her eyes. She was disappointed at herself. She really wanted to learn to be a renowned chef but she cannot deliver even a simple task on their activity today. She felt so frustrated. 

She opened the faucet and washed her face. She tried to calm herself. She took off some paper towel and softly damped it to her face. She looked at herself again in the mirror. 

She heard her phone inside the pocket of her jeans vibrated. She took it off and saw a message from Yan Mor Tee on WeChat.

Best Husband Ever: Look what I saw today.

Song Dei Si saw the screenshot that Yan Mor Tee has sent. She blinked her eyes twice to ensure that she saw the picture clearly. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the selfie photo of her mother-in-law wearing the necklace that she gave to her. She posted it on Weibo with a caption: Look what my daughter-in-law got me from her Hong Kong trip. She brought home a necklace for me. Isn't it lovely? 

Best Husband Ever: See, I told you! She loved your gift.

Best Husband Ever: Wifey?

Best Husband Ever: .....

Song Dei Si could not reply because she was in a complete daze.

Madam Yan loved the gift that she gave her.

She wore it.

All those unhappy thoughts that she had earlier has gone away. 

That Weibo post from her mother-in-law saves the day.

Best Wife Ever: Hubby, I am so happy!

Best Husband Ever: I am happy too. I think mom is beginning to like you. 

Best Wife Ever: You think so?

Best Husband Ever: Yes. If I have to decode her post, I can see how proud she was for having a thoughtful daughter-in-law.

Best Wife Ever: ?

Best Husband Ever: Come to the office after your cla.s.s. Let's have lunch together later.

Best Wife Ever: Okay! I have to go back to the cla.s.s. My 15 minutes bio break is almost over.

Best Husband Ever: Okay. See you later, XiaoSi! ???

Best Wife Ever: See you later. ???

Song Dei Si put her phone back to her trouser and happily went back to the cla.s.s.

Master Chef Li has noticed the change on Song Dei Si's mood when she went back. She has regained her composure and was able to follow his instruction  easily and he was pleased.

"PA Su."

"Young Madam!" PA Su exclaimed when she saw Song Dei Si standing in front of her. This was the first time that Song Dei Si went back to Yan Enterprise after her last day. PA Su was so happy to see her that she almost hug her. She really missed the Young Madam. 

Song Dei Si frowned when she saw PA Su stressed face. It was just a week since the last time she saw her but it seems that she aged 10 years already.

"Does the CEO stressed you out?" Song Dei Si asked. 

PA Su was astounded. Does her face spells Stress?

"You don't look good today!" Song Dei Si said. "Tell me, does the CEO gave you a hard time here?" 

PA Su shook her head. She couldn't admit it to Song Dei Si because she knew that Song Dei Si will make a fuss over it with her husband. 

"I just don't get enough sleep yesterday because I helped my son with his homework last night." 

Song Dei Si looked at PA Su, then nodded.

"Is the CEO in?" Song Dei Si asked.

"Yes, he's in." PA Su smiled as she answered her. 

"Okay, thank you" Song Dei Si said before she strode off to Yan Mor Tee's office.

Song Dei Si knocked at the CEO office. When she heard Yan Mor Tee's voice inside his private room, telling her to come in, her heart suddenly beats fast. She always had this feeling of excitement everytime she heard Yan Mor Tee's voice before when she was just his mere Personal a.s.sistant. 

She opened the door and saw Yan Mor Tee who was immersed with what he was doing on his laptop. He didn't even look at her when entered the room.

"Hubby, I'm here"

"Uhm" Yan Mor Tee simply replied without looking at her.

Song Dei Si raised her brows. "Aren't we going to have lunch yet?" She said with annoyance on her voice because of the cold response she got from her husband.

Yan Mor Tee curled up his lips and continued with what he was doing. 

Song Dei Si called him with a frown.

"Yan Mor Tee!"
