Chapter 139: Why Did You Marry Song Dei Si?

Yan Mor Tee returned to the office immediately when Master Tan did not return back to the hospital that afternoon. Did he do something to Song Dei Si? Worry came rushed through him. Master Tan also blamed his wife for what had happened to Ja Nin.

He slammed his hands in the steering wheel and cursed himself. He left her when he learned that Ja Nin was in the hospital and never cared for what she might be feeling at that moment.

She might be blaming herself.

He knew his wife.

She was easily got pursuaded when it has something to do with the people she cared about.

If people will tell her that she hurted someone or if she was the one that hinders someone's happiness, she will easily let go and felt guilty about it.

His wife has a tendency for giving it all to the people she loves. Even if it's means sacrificing her own happiness.

He was trying to call Ho Min Lin but she didn't reply.

He called PA Su.

"Is Young Madam in the office?"

"Yes. She and Ho Min Lin were inside your office."

"Thank you."

He heaved a sigh of relief knowing that Min Lin was already with her.

"Dei Si!" Yan Mor Tee called his wife as soon as he stepped into the CEO room.

Ho Min Lin gave him a signal to quiet. "She's sleeping" She was seated beside Song Dei Si at the CEO lounge. Song Dei Si was sleeping on her shoulder.

Yan Mor Tee went to their direction and scooped Song Dei Si and carried her to the private room inside the CEO office.

He laid her down in the bed. Once he settled his wife in a more comforting sleep position, he returned back to Ho Min Lin.

"Thank you for taking care of her." Yan Mor Tee uttered.

Ho Min Lin looked and smiled at Yan Mor Tee. It was quite an experience hearing this Young Master saying Thank You to her.

Her bestfriend's husband was an overbearing man that saying Thank You and Sorry became a non-existent words to him.

It gave her a nice feeling that Yan Mor Tee acknowledged her because of Song Dei Si.

This man might really have falling inlove with her bestfriend and it gave her an urge to ask his reason of marrying her.

"Why did you marry Song Dei Si?" it took Min Lin a lot of courage to ask the question.

"She wanted a child and I wanted to help her."

Ho Min Lin furrowed her eyebrows.

Yan Mor Tee furrowed his too.

Ho Min Lin suddenly thought of what Song Dei Si also told her earlier. Want to have a child?

Why would her bestfriend wanted to have a child so desperately that she even asked this overbearing guy to help her conceive it?

Did she do it to trap Yan Mor Tee into a marriage?

"She wanted to have a child with me even if its out of wedlock."

"But you didn't agree to that?"

"Who would have wanted an illegitimate child?" Yan Mor Tee answered.

"Did you ask her why she wanted a child?"

"She said she will be turning 27 in a few months now and wanted to give her father a grandchild to play with."

"You believe her?"

Yan Mor Tee was stunned by the question.

"Her reason is logical."

"But she could have asked someone else to impregate her if she only wanted to have a child."

"Yes, and I was glad that I was the only man closed to her when she wanted to pursue that crazy idea."

"There was Lee Jin Ho. I know he likes my bestfriend."

"That's why I married her even before someone else did."

Ho Min Lin curled up her lips. She got what she wanted to hear.

"I'll take a leave now. Please take care of my bestfriend from here on" she said and strode out of the CEO office.

Yan Mor Tee went back to his private office and watched his wife while she was sleeping.

He walked closely to her and traced the tears that were dried off her face.

How bad it was for Song Dei Si to be left alone with someone who blamed her for what happend to Ja Nin when he stormed off to the hospital to see Tan Ja Nin?

She must be feeling awful inside.

He cursed himself again for failing to take good care of her.

"I'm sorry. Can you forgive me for being insensitive?" Yan Mor Tee wanted to tell that to Song Dei Si.

But Song Dei Si was asleep.

Those words didn't have any weight if it wasn't heard by the person he intended to know it.
