All the secretaries at the President Secretatiat were cautious at the President's behaviour since he came to the office in the morning. Each one of them have been yelled at even at a simplest thing. No doubt, President Lee Jin Ho wasn't in a good mood and they are wondering what made their big boss angry or who made him lost his temper. They knew President Lee Jin Ho as someone who always composed even at the worst situation. But today, he seems to be a different person. The cheerful boss that he was had never smiled at anyone and locked himself at his private office.

Lee Jin Ho was looking at his laptop monitor but he can't seem to focus on the data that he was reading, his mind was trailed off on the thoughts of what had happened to him and Tan Ja Nin. He can't seem to understand himself. He never felt this awful when Tan Ja Nin rejected his proposal of co-habiting. His overbearing personality cannot take it. He wasn't at the loosing end here but why does it seems that Tan Ja Nin was so proud of rejecting his offer to take responsibility.

Lee Jin Ho made a pregnant pause when he concluded that it was not his lost. He did the right thing to do. He made a mistake of bedding Tan Ja Nin and took her virginity so he wanted to take responsibility on what he did. But if Tan Ja Nin doesn't want it, what it is on him anyway? In the first place, Tan Ja Nin was nothing to him and maybe she was right when she said that they only scratched an itch.

Meanwhile in Paris.

It's been two days since Ho Min Lin has arrived and checked in at the same hotel where Tan Ji Nan was staying but never caught the sight of him. She had hangout at the reception area on the first day that she arrived just to ensure that she will catch Tan Ji Nan but it has been two day and he never appeared in front of her.

She was hopeless and started sending messages to Song Dei Si.

Ho Min Lin: Can you please check with your husband if the hotel that he gave me is correct?

Song Dei Si?: Why?

Ho Min Lin: I haven't caught sight of Tan Ji Nan yet. I've been staying here at the reception area since I've arrived but he never showed up.

Song Dei Si: Maybe he showed up while you weren't there?

Ho Min Lin: I've never left.

Song Dei Si: What? You haven't sleep yet since you've arrived...?

Ho Min Lin: Uhmmm.

Song Dei Si: Silly! Sleep now or you might collapse.

Ho Min Lin: But I haven't seen Tan Ji Nan yet.

Song Dei Si: Does it appear to you that maybe he didn't show up because he never wanted to show up?

Ho Min Lin: Does he know that I will be here?

Song Dei Si: Knowing my husband, his loyalty is always with Tan Ji Nan.

Ho Min Lin got frustrated as Song Dei Si's word hit her on the nerve.

'Do you really hate me that much Tan Ji Nan?'

Song Dei Si: Sleep now.

Ho Min Lin: Uhmmm....

Without Ho Min Lin knowing, the man that she desperately wanted to see had already seen her but purposely hiding from her. He was standing and hiding at the corner of the reception area as he surveyed Ho Min Lin's every move.

When he learned from Yan Mor Tee that Ho Min Lin will be arriving in Paris to win his heart back again, he purposely made it difficult for her.

He will never let Ho Min Lin back on his life again.

Never.

He was no longer that 13 years old boy who was deeply smitten by her.

He has finally gotten over her.

He was surveying Ho Min Lin for two days now and he knew that she never gone to sleep yet so that means he never gone to sleep yet as well.

When Ho Min Lin got up from the couch he straightened his back and heaved a sigh of relief. Finally, this woman has come to her senses and he was antic.i.p.ating that she will leave the reception area. But instead of her heading to the elevator, she went to the reception. As he was hiding near, he can hear what she was saying to the receptionist.

"Do you have any guest that has a name of Tan Ji Nan here?" She asked the receptionist.

"I am sorry ma'am but due to confidentially we cannot divulge the name of our guests or confirm if they are staying here"

"But I am his wife." Ho Min Lin said.

'What? Wife?' Tan Ji Nan murmured. When did he marry her?

"He never came home for two weeks now, and someone have told me that he is staying at this hotel. I just wanted to check if he is doing behind my back and hiding a woman here. You are a woman too, you must know the feeling of being cheated on?" Ho Min Lin added trying to convince the receptionist.

'I'm an adulterer? This woman' Tan Ji Nan gnashed his teeth. This woman is getting overboard and making false accusations about him. He can no longer tolerate her fake news and decided to come out from the corner to confront her.

The receptionist looked at Ho Min Lin and was about to give in when she saw her pitiful face. Being a married woman like Min Lin, and being cheated on by her former husband she cannot tolerate an adulterer like him.

"Your husband must be crazy! He must be out of his mind if he will look for another woman when he had already married to a gorgeous wife like you are" the receptionist gave a comment as she looked at Min Lin. Even with eyebags, her real beauty was still evident.

A cold and arrogant voice was heard at the back of Min Lin.

"But I am not her husband."

Min Lin heart jumped when he heard that voice. She don't need to turn around to knew who was owner.

"Then who she is Mr. Tan?" The receptionist asked and a bit shocked too when she saw Tan Ji Nan in front of her. She was at the verge of giving his room number to Ho Min Lin but he came in.

"An old friend."

Ho Min Lin slowly turned around and was greeted by Tan Ji Nan's cold and emotionless expression.
