8 I Thought That Blackmailing My Teacher And Disrupting Class Was Normal, Guess I Was Wrong

Until it was time for Kenjiro's alarm to go off.

*BI BI BI BI HUAH*

But Kenjiro just kept lying there, not affected in the slightest.

Half an hour went by until it was time for the second alarm

*HOOHAH BOUI HOOHAH BUOI*

But the same irritating thing happened, Just lying there without a care in the world.

Another 45 minutes past and the final alarm rang

"Hey dude It's time to f.u.c.kING WAKE UP, REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

The alarm had been recorded by Kenjiro himself and was meant as a last resort, never meant to actually go off due to its loud nature. The neighbors around the houses that surrounded Kenjiro's all woke up in one fell swoop. Even Kenjiro, who seemed to be impossible to wake up, woke up in extreme distress and regret over recording the thing.

Around the neighborhood, confused conversations could be heard

"Wha… is going on?"

"Not again!"

"What do you mean? What the h.e.l.l is this sound, is someone dying?"

"I'm not quite sure. But one time when I was trying to grate bread using our grater, I heard some idiot make this exact same sound in this neighborhood. It must've been recorded because this is the exact same sound… I think it comes from that weird kid's house."

"… Now I'm more worried about what you do here when I'm not around."

- Wait did I fall asleep? But I was supposed to draw! Dammit...-

"...reeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

In an instant, my whole body recognized the deafening sound and woke up.

-s.h.i.+t! I knew it wasn't a good idea to do that recording! I have to stop it! -

I reached for the phone, but due to the stressful moves I was making, I ended up dropping the phone on the floor.

When I tried to pick up the phone from the floor, by pure coincidence, a poster fell to the floor right on top of the screaming phone. The poster was of the famous Hatsune Miku.

"Hatsune… I know our relations.h.i.+p is sacred.

*Silence*

What, if I'm cheating? No way, I treasure you more than my phone of course. I just really need to turn that sound off."

I gently put the poster aside and finally managed to turn off the unholy sound that had been heard throughout the houses.

A silent but relieving "Phew" flew out of my mouth as I put the poster back in its original place.

Right when I turn around, I get greeted by yet another poster. This one was of the famous Rem.

"Come on Rem, don't look at me like that. You know I didn't mean anything bad earlier."

- I really need to get a life, holy s.h.i.+t. I'm literally pretending to have an Anime-like life with the things around me. I think I'm going insane, please somebody send help. -

After a stressful bike ride, I arrived once again at school. This time, I was sure to be in time for cla.s.s. Upon walking to the entrance, I looked around the environment and somewhat appreciated just being in the moment. The nature around me had all gotten a very yellow and red color scheme. Upon entering the school building, some of the autumn-colored leaves were stuck to my shoes. But since I didn't really care, I didn't bother to brush them off.

I went up to my shoe locker and opened it. What awaited me was something I'd never think I'd have to witness with my eyes. A letter stood upon my indoor shoes.

- Thank G.o.d it isn't a love letter. That would've been extremely terrible if it was, my self-confidence would've definitely gone up a lot.

The reason I know it isn't a love letter is because the color of the letter isn't a lovely and romantic pastel pink, it's a death-reminding and a recognizable dark black. -

Sadly and at the same time gladly, the inscription on top didn't say 'Death Note' but simply said 'Join me in my cause, Kenjiro Asukara'. I grabbed my shoes, put them on and put the letter in my front-side pocket.

After making it up the steps from h.e.l.l, I rushed towards the cla.s.sroom with steps in the rhythm of haste.

The door that was so heavy yesterday was opened with ease today and when it was, I said loudly

"h.e.l.lo everybody who made it in time for school! If you're worried about my mental state because I'm screaming loudly in front of the cla.s.s and not trying and failing to sneak in like I did yesterday. Don't worry, I still hate myself and that's why I'm exposing myself to this torture. My monologue is finished, and thus I shall move to my seat."

With confident steps, I moved towards my desk.

But I was stopped in my tracks by Eraijo. She said

"What do you think is going to happen now?"

I answered in a humble tone

"According to my calculations that I made 4 seconds ago, there are 4 possibilities

a. I'll get detention

b. I get released because you don't really care about your job

c. You kill me somehow

d. (Own Answer)"

Eraijo almost popped a vein upon hearing the list. She said

"What!? There are so many things wrong with what you just did. (d.) is just a way for you to say that anything could happen! (c.) is incredibly out of place and impossible and I'm so insulted you even mentioned (b.) that I'm actually gonna go with (a.)"

I said

"I would've been able to accept that since I'm trash and all. But sadly, for this one day, I want to prioritize my free time. So I've prepared some good old blackmail for you."

Eraijo said

"What'd you say, kiddo!?"

I reached into my pocket and flashed the mail. Eraijo responded

"I didn't know you were going to take the word 'black-mail' so literally… I'm somehow disappointed"

I pulled the letter out and upon reading the inscription, I realized I had taken out the wrong black letter. I quickly inserted it again and pulled out another black letter with the inscription 'For use in extra hopeless situations'.

I waved it in front of Eraijo until she grabbed the letter out of irritation.

She opened the letter and found the first picture on top. It was a picture of her in a casual outfit just standing.

"What's so dangerous about this picture?" She said upon viewing the content.

I got an evil grin on my face. I said

"Oh, it gets worse. Look at the next one..."

Eraijo started sweating and was visibly scared. That kind of confirmed that there was something suspicious going on in Eraijo's life. She slowly but surely flipped the picture and found that the picture contained...

Nothing, nothing of interest at least. It was simply a picture of Eraijo sitting alone at a cafe, drinking coffee.

"I don't quite understand, these are all very normal." Eraijo said, confused.

"That's exactly my point. Don't you see?"

"Nn?" was all the response that Eraijo gave me.

"It is because they're normal that they're threatening. We in this cla.s.sroom treat you like a G.o.d and wors.h.i.+p you as a G.o.d of scholars. Would you really want someone, who believes you're a living legend, to see you in a mundane and normal setting, let alone you sitting as a loner in a cafe? This isn't like me, because I would never actually try to place myself in a position that's higher than anyone else. But I really want all the free time I can get, so I have to use some questionable means to get there. As someone out there says, 'The ends justify the means', that expression really fits in this scenario. So, what are you gonna do? Either let me out of doing (a.), or hold on to your stupid and false judgment and end up losing all your respect and status as a G.o.d among the students."

The reaction Eraijo wasn't the best, she seemed to really have gotten shocked after hearing what I said. Eraijo stayed silent for a couple of seconds and then proceeded to announce her decision

"Fine, I'll go along with your whole plan for now. Losing my status as a G.o.d would be a most unfortunate consequence."

I turned around and smiled mischievously.

- She fell for it… Like anybody thinks of her as a G.o.d. Everybody in the student body thinks of Eraijo as a lazy and weird teacher and it would surprise n.o.body to find out that she spends afternoons alone at a cafe.

This is what happens when a person is too full of themselves, they'll start to think any praise they get is the truth and nothing but the truth. But who am I to criticize other people? I'm literally trash in human form.-

I walked to my desk and sat down in a casual manner, like I usually did. Everybody was looking at me while I sat down. Once Eraijo noticed the stares directed at yours truly, She screamed

"You brats! How dare you ignore me during my lesson!?"

One of the students in the front, who had normal black hair and average features protested

"What the h.e.l.l did Kenjiro show you!? Judging from his casual aura, he probably got out of detention. That's unfair isn't it!?"

Eraijo instantly locked her eyes on the poor boy and pointed at him while saying

"You get 1-hour detention. Someone else wants to criticize my regime and get detention?"

The boy immediately responded

"What!? I get that, for criticizing you? You even said 'regime', this isn't a dictators.h.i.+p! I demand justice!"

Eraijo simply and brutally said

"1 hour and 30 minutes now"

The other students simply sat in silence. The boy turned around in search of help, all of his friends were staring at him with pitying and understanding looks on their faces. Their expressions practically said 'I know how you feel, friend of mine. But unfortunately, I cannot help you with this matter.'

The boy simply looked down at his desk in a state of disappointment and contemplation.

- I understand, person I don't know. But when you confront Eraijo, you need to be prepared with something to avoid trouble. Sadly, you weren't equipped enough for this battle but I give you my best wishes in your next confrontation with the small-scale dictator.-

The lesson carried on with an uncomfortable atmosphere of fear.

Finally, the morning cla.s.ses wrapped up and it was time for lunch.

I had to escape from the room before the disease of youth would infect poor ol' me. I opened a window and climbed out. Once I was outside, there was a clear and thin path I could take to quickly get to a roof.

I was walking by a couple of cla.s.srooms, one of which I could see Sora stare at me in amazement.

-Wow, I could honestly die right now

Do it, just jump

That's unnecessarily mean, isn't it?

I know you want to do it, so why not take this opportunity to do it?

I already explained it to those girls, why don't you, who are me, understand that?

I don't want to understand it, now do it.

Ok… [Picture of Saitama]

That was kind of cool actually, you don't need to jump anymore.

Well, that's good to hear.-

I finally reached the roof and sat down to eat my simple lunch.

When I finally opened the box, the door leading to the door flew open and Aya came out.

"I'm in charge of you today, Kenjiro!" Aya instantly said upon locating me.

"Please leave." I responded.

"No way. The Kenjiro-watching-pact is official and necessary." Aya said brightly.

"Well, you're terrible at your job. I almost jumped down just now."

"No way!" Aya said and rushed over to grab me.

I decided to not keep talking about that and changed the subject

"Guess what I got today, also could you let go of me." I said

"Could it be… A love letter!?" Aya said while blus.h.i.+ng a little.

I reached into my pocket and pulled out the black letter.

"Not quite. It's a 'death letter', I think. I reach that conclusion because love is pink and black is death, easy right?" I said proudly

"I don't think so. This person just has a special color taste. Let's read it!" Aya said and pried my personal life by opening the letter.

The first line of the letter read

"First of all, Please die Kenjiro :)"

- We're off to a great start! -
