"That's ok," Sean said. "W-we can take it slow. We can do things at our own pace. What works best for us."

Lily slowly escaped from the confines of her hood and saw Sean smiling at her, causing her to retreat back again.

Sean wanted to act as if he didn't hear so that Lily would have to say it again. Except when he first heard her answer he didn't know what to do.
