"Come on, Owen," Ethan called out to me as I was falling behind.

"We need to find it," Sean said pretending to read a map.

"It's not real…" I said. "It's just a rumour…"

"Don't be such a downer," Ethan said leading the expedition.

If you were wondering what we idiots are doing, we are currently searching around our school. This isn't like before where we will end up stuck in a room full of ghosts or piled on top of each other. We are looking to solve one of the many mysteries of this school. It's common knowledge that each school has a few rumours, maybe it's about a student who haunts the toilets or maybe it's about a teacher and student scandal. Our school doesn't have an interesting rumour like a ghost, what we are looking for is a swimming pool. Yup, that's right… According to rumours, our school has a swimming pool somewhere that the teachers like to use. We have no idea why this rumour exists, or how it would be possible. The rumours say it's underground and you have to take a ladder to get there, but who the h.e.l.l knows. All we were doing is wasting time.

"Come on…" Ethan said pus.h.i.+ng me from behind as I was being too slow. "Hurry up."

"Where are we going? What's the first step?" I asked.

"Don't know!" Ethan said proudly of himself.

"I think we should check the PE changing rooms," Sean suggested which made sense.

"Oh, what if the water from the showers is connected to the swimming pool in some way," Ethan said as we were walking. "Or… What if the changing room has the entrance like you get changed after your swim and wash to get all the chlorine off. Maybe we should test to see if there is any chlorine around the shower drains."

Ethan clearly cared about this a lot. Like a real lot. He wouldn't shut up about it. He kept talking and talking as if this was the last swimming pool on earth. I've had to put up with him for so long that even when I attempted to put in headphones to ignore him, he cut the wires. At that point, I hoped there was a swimming pool so I could drown him.

"This way," Sean said leading us down some weird part of the school I've never been in. It seems like there is a lot more to the school than I thought. Maybe there is a swimming pool.

"Hey, look." Ethan pointed to a door. "Room D…What wonderful memories."

"I still have nightmares about being crushed to death," I said.

"That was your fault…" Ethan and Sean said before walking on and leaving me behind. Perhaps I will just turn around and go home…

"Here they are." Outside the changing rooms, we attempted to go in only to find the door was locked. When you think about it logically, of course, they are locked. I wouldn't expect them to be open after school since most of the teachers want to leave this s.h.i.+t hole. They will just lock it and leave. Forget the football club that is supposed to be practising, it was much easier to just leave.

"What do we do?" Sean asked.

"Go Home-"

"FIND ANOTHER WAY!" Ethan interrupted before I could escape.

We searched around the changing rooms and hugged the walls looking for a secret door. I say we, but it was just Ethan. Sean and I played games on our phone whilst we waited.

"I don't think it's here," Ethan said giving up only to search again.

"Yeah, there is nothing."

"Can we go home?" I asked.

"Not yet! I have one last idea."

Ethan's last idea was something stupid, you would think he would have learned from last time but he decided to climb into the vents and attempt to find the one that leads to the changing rooms. From last time, we learnt the vents couldn't hold a person, they were too old and damaged in this part of the school. It was fun to watch him fall from the ceiling a few times.

"Ow ow ow…" Ethan said, "Let me try again."

It felt like 500 times, there was no ceiling left by the time Ethan was finished. The rubble surrounded us somehow missing Sean and I. Perhaps this is payback for what happened last time.

I was worried we would get stuck here overnight so I decided to leave Ethan alone at trying to get into the room. I received a phone call a little past midnight, it sounded like he was in a vent but I wasn't sure if there were any left for him to fall through. He certainly did prove me wrong when he fell and I heard a loud splash. His phone died so I didn't get to hear what happened, but I did get a good night's sleep.
