Next, she opened the gift which was given by the girls from her cla.s.s. She was surprised to see a black handbag, because she thought the girls would have given her a book or something as they were the bookworm type.

Now, it was left with Harry's and John's gift. Without much thinking, she took the box which was closest to her, it was the gift from Harry. She pulled the ribbon attached to it, and slowly opened the box. Inside the box, it was a s.h.i.+ny flower shaped necklace. This present surprised her again as she thought that Harry did not treat her like a girl. Never did she think that Harry would give her something so feminine. It was also her first time to receive jewelry from a boy, so it made her feel a bit shy and special.

The sentence that Jane told her pa.s.sed through her mind, "maybe he likes you." However, Teresa quickly brush that thought away by thinking, "no way, that's impossible, he already has someone he likes."

To stop herself from thinking too much, she decided to open the gift that was given by John. It was a huge box, and there was a letter which was stuck on top of it. She knew the letter would be some type of confession to her, so she did not want to read it yet as she was afraid it would spoil her mood.

After opening the box, there were all folded stars inside the box, and in the center of it was a cute gla.s.s replica of an anime cartoon character that she liked very much. The replica was so well made as it looked exactly like the real cartoon character in the anime. Underneath the replica was a box of Belgium dark chocolate, which was also one of her favourite snacks.

"Oh my G.o.d!" Teresa shouted as she found the limited edition of her favourite idol's CD inside the huge box. She could not believe her eyes when she saw the CD, she took the CD out and saw her idol's signature on top of the CD cover, this made her so excited and happy, she never felt so happy receiving gifts before.

All the gifts that were given to her by John were all her favourite things that just a few people knew, the anime cartoon character, the chocolate and the idol that she admired. In addition, all of those gifts were very expensive that she herself did not want to spend her parent's money to purchase them as she wanted to earn money herself to buy them. Never in her wildest dream did she think that someone would buy all of them for her. And never did she think, that person would be John, she didn't think that he would remember everything that she told him before, when they were dating. All she could think about was, "He really knows me well..."
