Chapter 377

It was fortunate that the Unkillable King Bloodline Warrior was injured and was compet.i.tive as well. He ignored the order from the Demon King who wanted him to lead the demon soldiers to attack Zence and entered a danger zone in the Demon Empire to try to advance to the next level which was unknown to all men, demon, and barbarian. Then, nothing was heard from him again.

Due to this, there was a bad rumor. "Although the Ares Bloodline and the Unkillable King Bloodline were powerful, their warriors are r.e.t.a.r.ded. One drank mystic potion when he was severely injured to try to advance, and the other went into the most dangerous place to try to advance.

After that Ares warrior tried the potion, more and more people tried to avoid mystic potion, and lesser and lesser people knew about it.

"That’s right! Mystic Potion!" Qian Jin mixed red wine, tea, coffee, and some juice together and put it in front of Duren Burg. "Give it a taste." He said.

Burg frowned as he looked at that mixture. "Do you want to poison me?"

"One pack of cigarettes." Qian Jin made his offer clear.

"Two packs!" Duren Burg bargained.

"Cech Flet..." Qian Jin took the cup and walked towards the Fallen Angel Bloodline Demon Warrior. The handsome young man’s face that had no emotion on his face changed color, but he forced himself to reach out for the cup.

"d.a.m.n, ok!" Duren Burg took the cup and looked at Qian Jin with a heroic expression as he said, "You said it, one pack of cigarettes."

Gulp...gulp...puff...

After gulping two mouthfuls of liquid down, he spurted them out. "Your potion tastes better."

"That’s right." Qian Jin pointed at the liquid that Duren Burg drank and said, "Mystic Pharmaceuticals, simply put it, is mixing the unmixable stuff together in a risky way to produce a new type of matter. Although most of the matter isn't stable and would explode, or instantly evaporate and turn into the most vicious gas. But you can’t deny the fact that it is mysterious and magical."

Everyone slowly took a step back when they saw Qian Jin’s excited face. This expression could only be seen on Mystic Pharmacist. "Looks like Qian Jin knows about mystic potions! Otherwise, how can he be excited when talking about this?" They thought.

"The blood of the Flame Demon is a matter!" Qian Jin knocked the table as he said, "I read in a book, and it explained how to mimic the blood of a Flame Demon. One of the requirements was the blood of a fire element high-level Demon Beast! Although Roaring Flame Demon Tiger wasn’t as powerful as a Flame Demon, it was a high-level Demon Beast!"

Everyone looked at Qian Jin with a surprised expression. "So magical! The blood of Demon Beasts could be mimicked? Why does it seem like he knows everything?"

Gabriella was the only one who focused on her food. After living with Qian Jin in Four Seasons Valley for two years, she was used to it. Even if Qian Jin told everyone he had awakened his bloodline, she won’t be surprised.

"The only thing is that the success rate according to the book is 70%, although the mimicked blood isn’t the real blood, it would have all the properties of it. The mimicked blood should be ok to use with no problems."

Qian Jin lowered his voice when he saw everyone was still stunned: "However, all mystic potion is not reliable... I have seen it many times, using subst.i.tutes resulted in explosions or poisonous gas..."

"We have to try it!" Fabreidis took a deep breath and decided. "Worse comes to worse, I will go find a Flame Demon! Instead of dying like a loser, I’d rather die in a glorious battle."

"Uncle..." Qian Jin paused a little and asked, "How much money do you have at the moment?"

"Uh..." Fabreidis was a little embarra.s.sed. Although the pay for being the guardian wasn’t bad and he had some savings, he only had about 10,000 gold coins. Those weren’t enough to purchase the corpse of a high-level Demon Beast.

The blood of Roaring Flame Demon Tiger wasn’t only useful to mystic pharmacists, it was useful to pharmacists as well. High-level potions required materials like the flesh of high-level Demon Beasts.

Although warriors were rich compared with ordinary people, they were poor compared to pharmacists, mystic pharmacist, blacksmiths, and mages.

Using only 10,000 gold coins to compete with pharmacists who make their money from selling potions or mystic pharmacists who were backed up by huge powerhouses in an auction was like hitting a rock with an egg.

"Uh, whatever." Qian Jin sighed. "I know that warriors don’t make much money but need to spend a lot. I will take care of the money situation."

"You?" Fabreidis felt a little unwilling as he said, "Warrior Weapon... to sell it for money, and it will end up in other forces’ hands... it’s not worth it."

"Who said I’m going to sell Warrior Weapons?" Qian Jin laughed. "Also, even if I do, other blacksmiths would sell them as well. If we blacksmiths are going to make the money, I’d rather make all it. Plus... Warrior Weapon isn’t my main focus."

"Then..." Fabreidis felt like his smart brain wasn’t functioning properly since he was bogged down by the Soul Weapon Situation.

Qian Jin snapped his fingers as he said, "Mystic Potions!"

Mystic Potions! The room turned silent again. If someone died from drinking it, it would be big trouble.

Gabriella put down her knife and fork. She wiped her mouth and said with her timid voice, "Is it level 1 Spirit Advancement Potion?"

"Yeah." Qian Jin sat back down and said, "The potion that you drank in Four Seasons Valley."

After Duren Burg rinsed his mouth with water until he couldn’t taste the mixture, he asked, "What is it?"

"Uh..." Qian Jin was silent for a while as he tried to structure his language. "Put it in a simple explanation, mages need spirit power. But once a mage gets close to the threshold for advancement, they would face a spiritual barrier, and their spiritual power couldn’t be increased."

Everyone nodded, although they weren’t mages, they knew this common knowledge.

"In this situation, mages’ improvement would plateau, and there are numerous magic arrays trying to help them." Qian Jin laughed. "I’m sure you all know the results."

Fabreidis sneered and said, "There are always mages and rune artists saying that they came up with a new array. Almost none of them works. It's just a scam to cheat those mages who are stuck."

"That’s right." Qian Jin knocked the table habitually and continued: "This Spiritual Advancement Potion I can make is effective! After taking it, the mage would have a 60% chance of advancing. Of course, if it fails, the mages would have diarrhea for the next three days. Unless they drink my potion to treat it, there is no other way around it."

"That effective?" A serious expression appeared on Fabreidis’ face as he asked. "If any mage who are stuck on the level 10 threshold, they can easily become Supreme Mages?"

Qian Jin quickly waved his hands as he explained. "No way. Gabriella said level 1 Spirit Advancement Potion. It is only effective to mages who are under level 5, and they can’t take it again after using it if it was successful."

Gomez Jane lightly nodded gracefully. If it was advertised enough prior to the auction, then these potions would be sold at good prices. "Except Warrior Union, all other seven forces would get involved in the bidding process..." She thought.

Qian Jin carefully calculated the other ingredients required to mimic the blood of Flame Demon, then he placed his attention on Fabreidis. "I have to make this Soul Weapon happen! Not only for Fabreidis, but also for me!" He thought.

He knew that he might face Rayen when he goes to Yulee. Ray Family might not care about a Demon Capturer, but it would be completely different if he had a Saint Warrior behind him!

"I can get my father out of the Qian Family after some time. Without the help of a Saint Warrior, I probably couldn’t do it successfully since the Qian Family is one of the most powerful families in Zence. I have to forge a Soul Weapon! I would need it when I try to advance to a Saint Warrior! This would allow me to acc.u.mulate the experience so I can make better Soul Weapons in the future!" He thought to himself.

Most importantly, no ordinary warrior had advanced to the level of saint! If Fabreidis succeeded…..

Qian Jin squeezed his fist and thought. "If Uncle Fabreidis can do it, so can I! I, Qian Jin, can become saint as well!"

How can a mage advance when he or she encounters a spiritual barrier? Use a Magic Core! Use Magic Stones! Use Filip’s Barrier Breaking Magic Array! Use Debra’s Barrier Breaking Magic Array!

There were many methods of going about it for a mage. There were many people who tried to figure out a way to break it, and many expensive products for breaking through the spirit barriers were sold to mages who were frustrated! The end result – few of them work!

For the last few days, a merchant group from Oakland appeared in the city of Yulee and started to promote a potion called Spirit Advancement Potion.

"Oakland?" Rayen played with the wine cup in his hand as he sneered. However, he did feel a little anxious. The two guards had left for quite some time now, but no messages were pa.s.sed back. "Could there be any trouble?" He thought.

"Yes, young master." A young girl in a maid uniform replied as she looked at Rayen with fear in her eyes. "They said they were merchants from Oakland, and they said they want to introduce to you a new product that can help mages to break their spiritual barrio."

"Oakland? That little city?" Rayen whirled his wine cup and said, "They can sell some of their local products or crafts. Is spirit barrier something they can handle? Do they know how many people in Zence are trying to figure that out? Scam, how dare they try to scam me? Go send someone to shoo them away!"

"OK..." The girl lowered her head and wanted to quickly walk out of the room.

"Wait." Rayen stood up and walked to the girl. He lifted her chin as he got close to her face. "What? You scared of me?" He asked.

The girl s.h.i.+vered. She heard that several maids were ruined by him, but she really needed the money from the Ray Family, her family really needed the money...

"Relax, I’m not interested in you." Rayen looked at the sky through the door and said, "Now, all my interests are on those twins. d.a.m.n you Qian Jin, it’s all you! You ruined my plan! Otherwise, I should be enjoying their bodies right now!"

The maid left, and Rayen was still walking around in his room with his hands at his back. "Oakland? That remote little place, how can they have such a potion? Are they so poor that they think they can scam the eight powerhouses of Yulee?" He murmured.

"No... we don’t need it..."

"Shoo! Go scam somewhere else."

"A bunch of b.u.mpkins trying to sell potions?"

All the families and forces that the merchants in the Roll Family visited got the same treatment. "The problem that a ton of genius couldn’t figure out got figured out at a remote little place?" this was what went through everyone’s mind.

Time pa.s.sed, and the merchants at the Roll Family stayed in Yulee for four days already. Finally, four elder mages from the Magic Tower couldn’t tolerate the pain of plateauing and went to the merchants with little hope. At the price of one gold coin for a bottle, they brought four bottles.

"Do you think it’s effective?"

"Who knows? Do you really think it’s going to work when it’s only one gold coin?"

"Yeah, it’s only one gold coin! Whatever as a test."

"Yeah, I wouldn’t get through the barrier of level 3 spiritual power. If I didn’t have any connection with the president, I would be kicked out already."

The four mages who bought the potions went back to the Magic Tower.

"Yo... four elder mages, I heard that you guys went to those b.u.mpkins to buy the potions?"

"Looks like your spiritual power isn’t the only problem you have. You brains also have problems. Are those potion even drinkable?"

The mock of a few younger mages resonated in the building. The four elder mages were mad; although these young mages were only level 3 mages, they were young so they had unlimited opportunities. Since they all lived in the lowest level of the tower, they would meet every day.

"Are you guys that free?" A majestic shout sounded, and the young mages looked up the stairs. They quickly bowed at the mage who walked down the stairs and greeted, "Mr. Vice-President Xander."

The four elder mages also felt a little embarra.s.sed when they saw the vice-president of the Crystal Magic Tower Xander who had short blonde hair, mage robe with gold edges, and Anger Fire Wand in his hand. After all, they were still here because of their connections.
