As Scott drag the drunk Angelique out of the club, Angelique started hitting Scott to let her go . Sudden tears were falling down her face, when Scott notice that she was crying he then placed her down .

"Scott your such a jerk!" she cried

Scott signed deeply in seeing the upset Angelique, "Calm down, I'm sorry . . . "

It surprise Angelique to heard Scott apologize for once, it made her speechless as Scott comforted her and embarra.s.sed her .

"I don't want to stay here anymore . . . . " she whispered

"Let's go . . . " he replied

In the end, Annie and Jordon were abandoned as they headed home as well . Inside the taxi, Annie was staring at the night stars .

"How about Angelique?" she asked

Jordon crossed his arms as he ponders for a moment, "I'm sure he won't do anything bad to her . "

"Jordon let me be frank, how long will you guys continue to act and play this silly games of yours . Why can't you be frank with her already? I know it's none of my business to interfere but you know one day one of you will get hurt eventually and I'm sure Angelique will be the most affected as well . "

"You're all grown up already yet your acting like first graders, I really don't understand why you guys can't be frank towards her . The fact she is so naïve already thinking you all care for her as a friend yet she does not know the deeper meaning . "

Jordon continued to listen to Annie's words until he b.u.t.ts in, "It's best if she follows her heart . "

Annie was speechless, so all this time they were waiting for Angelique to decide, but from what she has observed it seems like she like Scott the most but does not want the pain she'd experience in the past . Annie continued to wonder what happened between them, all she knows is that Scott and Angelique made a promise to each other which was broken due to Jamie .

"She too broken to even know what true love is, her family was one of the main reason for this . When we were in our secondary year, all she did was fool around with different guys but she did not sleep with them," he said

"But didn't she also date Scott?" she asked

"She did, they dated in secret for a long time . It was something either me or Jamie weren't aware of, but Angelique never kept a secret from me and eventually told me . "

"Then what happened?"

Jordon sighed, "No one really knows what happened that night apart from Angelique, she was the only who was sobered that night . We were all drunk in a house party and something happened, all I recalled was Scott punching Jamie and Angelique and Scott disappearing that night . "

Annie did not expect such an event happened between them, she wonders why Angelique has kept everything to herself . What secret has Angelique carried all this year causing her to be aloof when it comes to love .

"But isn't Jamie gay?" she asked

"Who knows, I've always known him to like Angelique but he always felt his not good enough for her . " He said

It surprises Annie to hear that Jamie isn't gay, the fact Jordon could not confirm it just means he's been lying to Angelique, "So you mean . . . "

From the look in Jordon's face, it was pretty obvious that Jamie is a man and like Angelique very much . Now that Scott is away meant more opportunity for Jamie especially he was Angelique first love and she actually still like him a bit .

But what Annie does not understand why Jordon does not say a word to Angelique, they were best of friends for a long time and they've known each other first . Angelique has mentioned to her that Jordon has always been the one who rescued her in time of trouble back then .

When Jordon and Annie returned to the result, they headed to Angelique room first, when they step inside and saw the empty room . It didn't surprise both of them that Scott won't take her home .

"Should we go look for her?" Annie asked

"No need, she'll be back, don't worry and go to bed . I'll wait for her . . . " He said as he sat on the sofa .

"Then I'll be going, good night," she said

"Night," Jordon responded

Before Annie could step out of the room, she took a last glimpse at Jordon who looked calm and expressionless . She could not help wonder how he really felt inside, what pain has he bottled up all these years . She sighed deeply as she slowly closed the door .

Once Annie presence was gone, Jordon got his phone out and started calling someone, "Where are you?"

Jordon listened patiently to the person on the other end . "Send her back, don't think of taking her away . "

After the call, Jordon released a deep sighed, she pushed the pillows on the sofa away as he lay down . He clenched his fist as he slightly hit his forehead, "Stupid . . . "
