The next day, Jordon came to pick Angelique up .

As they were driving to her home, he noticed the girl seems to be in deep thought since yesterday visit . "Ange, is something wrong?"

"Jordon be honest, is something wrong with Jamie?"

Hearing the reason to why she's been so stressed out make him a bit upset . But of course he must stay calm and act his part . "Why?"

"He actually asked me out on a date . Not just any normally date we normally go to . . . But a date just the two of us . "

"Hmm . . . " the man did not expect this at all . So Jamie really has made his move and will no longer back down after last time . "What's wrong about that?"

"Isn't it weird, why would he suddenly want to go on a date just the two of us?"

"Well, if you don't want to go on a date with him alone, you can always go alone with me . " he said making the girl laughed at the end .

"Oh, Jordon . . . You're really funny . But I'm fine . . . But going out with you all again would be fun . "

The man just smiled at seeing the girl so happy, despite he was feeling upset inside . He felt defeated in the situation right now . He never thought thing would end up like this, his so called brothers will eventually end us as his rivals .

As they arrived at Angelique's apartment, she went ahead upstairs and brought some of the stuff with her . Once she opened the door, a loud pop came out of nowhere and confettis and silver dust came flying .

"Surprise, Welcome Home!"

She looked around and notice her friends have prepared a party for her . Harry, Jason, Toby, Corey, Annie, Jose and even Miss Lia were there to welcome her home . She could not help back her tears and soon started crying .

As they saw the girl's teary eyes, some of them could not help it but felt upset as well . Of course they were in tears for just a few days ago the girl should have been dead, yet she is here in front of them smiling and so alive .

"Everyone, thanking for welcoming me home . "

At the moment, Jordon has come up and brought some of her stuff . "You really that happy?"

She looked at the man behind him who just arrived, "Did you plan all of this?"

"I thought you might feel much at home if the people who loves you are with you . "

Without no words to express her grat.i.tude, she quickly hugged the man so tightly . "Jordon, thank you, thank you for everything, thank you for always being there for me . "

Seeing the girl embrace the man some could not help it, but felt a little bit jealous . But right now, they can't act foolish since nothing could matter more now than seeing her back .

Each of them then walked to the girl and welcome her, giving them their present a warm embrace .

Jose has prepared the food for them as they all started seating around and enjoy the day .

It was already late when all of them went home, leaving Jordon to clear up some of the mess and make sure the girl does not move a single muscle .

"Jordon let me help you . "

"I told you to go lay down on your bed and rest already . "

The girl ignored what the man said and started picking up some of the mess around . As the man saw he was being ignored, he quickly went to the girl and grab what she was doing . The girl fought back and tried to get it back .

As they were fighting each other, the girl suddenly lost balance and collapse, causing her to fall, pulling the man to fall on top of him . The man was able to successfully protect the girl head with his hand before she hit the ground .

The two of them froze as they were so close to each other, their eyes gazed into each others eyes and they can hear the sound of one another heart .

The man quickly got up, leaving the girl on the ground still in shock, "Why must you be so troublesome, go back to your room at once . "

The girl was in complete shock that her body moved on its own and went to her room . She then came out once again looked at the man "Good night" Seeing that man's face make her nervous and she quickly went back inside .

The man collapsed onto the sofa and let out a deep sigh and mumbled, "That was just too close . "
