Everyone looked over and everyone was stunned.

There was a woman wearing a thick black coat and does not even look like Angelique at all. However, she did have the same hairstyle as Angelique. But she was not the mother that they've known back then.

"h.e.l.lo everyone, it's a pleasure to finally meet all of you." The woman said polity as she approached them. "My name is Rosemarie, Angelique's biological mother. I heard from one of your friends, my daughter was in an accident today, so I flew all the way from Germany just to get here."

Jordon, Jamie, Toby, and Corey were so stunned in seeing the woman in front of them. The fact they have met Angelique's mom before who almost looked like Angelique too, but the woman standing in front of them did not look like Angelique at all except for the curly wavy hair.

They thought that Angelique must really look like her dad then since her adopted mother and biological dad are siblings, which explains why Angelique really looked like her back then.

The doctor approached the woman and greeted her since he notices everyone was still in shock in seeing the woman. "I'm the doctor that operated on your daughter, she is currently doing well, however, she is currently in a coma. Right now I can't precisely tell you when she'll wake up."

Everyone finally came back to their sense when the doctor started explaining everything to the woman. None of them dared interrupt the conversation between the doctor and the woman and quietly listened from behind.

At the moment, the nurses and other doctor have come out of the operation ward pus.h.i.+ng Angelique out as well. They all quickly run towards her side as they looked at the unconscious girl in bed.

"Ange..."

"Angelique..."

"Baby..." The woman said as tear drop from her face as she witnesses the state of her daughter. "Don't worry, I'll take care of you..."

As the nurse continued to push Angelique bed everyone followed except for Jamie and Jordon. They stayed behind and finished their conversation with the doctor.

After their conversation with the doctor, the three of them walked together heading to Angelique's room.

Inside the room, only Toby was left watching Angelique. He explained to the three of them why everyone has left already. In a few minutes, he too left and head home.

The woman looked at the two men in the room. "So which one of you is Jamie and Jordon?"

The two of them were dumbfounded when the heard the woman knew about them. Each of them, then intrude themselves.

"I'm Jordon."

"I'm Jamie."

The woman smiles in delight that she finally meet the two guardians in her daughter's life. She called them over to sit next to her side, as they seated next to her, she gently taps them in the cheeks. "Thank you for always being there for her, she told me everything about you when she returned to the Philippines. She explained that she has great friends and her first love in England."

"I can finally understand why my daughter like you, it's because your turn out to be a doctor. Do you know, Angelique dream since she was young was to be a doctor. Despite she became a chef that was only her second choice. She was really pa.s.sionate about being a doctor, but because of my sister-in-law, her mother all her dreams were shattered."

"Has Angelique ever told you what happened to her back in the Philippines why she does not want her parent here to find out where she is? Has she ever told you how she came about? How she became like this?"

The two of them looked at each other and shake their heads.

"I'm sure you knew that she was born when I and her dad were starting college and of course I never married the fool. I'm glad I didn't anyways since look where I am now. Anyways, moving on..."

"Angelique was almost killed by her stupid, so-called mother and father's family. You know Angelique is a prideful girl and she will fight for what is right. She's the girl who always believes and trusts her decision more than others. Because she was that type of person, the other side was not pleased and yeah... That almost happened."

"Since she came back, she had explained to me how you two have always been by her side since she returned. I know you've blamed yourself too for why Angelique was sent back to the Philippines that time but please don't... It's not your fault but her selfish, ungrateful mother."

"They've never considered us as family anyways, they've just wanted to use Angelique to gain benevolence from the elders and financial benefits. The fact she was the one who was left with all the elder's inheritance being the first grandchild that time, but now they got what they wanted they just threw her away like she was nothing but a piece of trash."

When the two of them finally realized why Angelique suddenly disappeared that year they thought it was because of the accident, but now they found out the truth, they even felt guilty and upset in hearing what happened to her.

Angelique has kept all the burden to herself.

But the question in their mind that was still unanswered was. Who told her about Angelique accident.
