"Jordon, where are you?" Angelique asked when she suddenly heard a sudden cough on the other end, "Jordon, are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine... I'm sorry I can join you," he replied as he tried to restrict himself from coughing.

"Jordon where are you?" Angelique worried face asked

"I'm back home, don't worry," he replied but could not help it but cough all of the sudden again.

"Jordon, b.l.o.o.d.y h.e.l.l are you alright?" she screamed

"I'm fine, I just caught a cold," he replied,

"Are you sure?" she softly asked

"I promise, anyway call me when you get home," he replied as he ended the call.

As Angelique finished her call with Jordon, she went inside the restaurant and was escorted by one of the staff to her table. However, as she reached her table, she was suddenly startled to see who was seated in front of her. Then her phone suddenly rang.

"Ange, I'm sorry... I'm really sorry... I have an emergency and can't join you." the woman voice on the other end said as she explained everything to Angelique who was frozen on the spot.

"Joe, why is..." Angelique said as her eye clear picture Scott seated on the table but could not say his name.

"It was last minute and I've already booked the place, so I asked him to join you instead..." she continued to explain. "Anyway, I'll make it up to you. I need to go."

Angelique was still in shock and did not know what to do. She did not know if whether she should walk out of the restaurant or dine with Scott. What should she do? Either way she has not choice but to dine with him since he clearly has seen her already.

"Miss Angelique are you alright?" the staff asked

"I'm fine..." she smiled

When Scott notice Angelique who was finally back to herself, he could not help but felt unease of the situation as well. He thought Jordon was with her, from what Joe explained it was supposed to be the three of them but why has it ended up being just the two of them.

"Scott, you're here..." Angelique smiled as she arrived at there table.

"Joe had something urgent to do." He explained.

Then the waiter handed them the menu and step aside leaving both of them to decide on what to eat.

"Please, go ahead." Scott polity said.

"Thanks," Angelique responded.

After a few minutes, Scott ordered everything for both of them. Whilst the other table was full of life and lively conversation, their table was all cold and surrounded by an awkward silence.

"Anyway, How are you?" Scott said

"How are you?" Angelique asked at the same time.

It became even more awkward when they did not expect they'll both asked at the same time. Both of them wonder what they should do?

Scott smiled and laughed, "I'm fine, you?"

"Good thanks," she responded averting her gaze from him.

"If I'm not wrong..." he smiled as he took a sip of his wine, " This is our first date."

Angelique was dumbfounded to what Scott said, but it was true. It was indeed their first date together just the two of them even during secondary school they would normally go on a date with everyone else. "That's true..."

"I guess I'm having a wonderful dream," Scott said

"A dream?" Angelique wonder, the fact this is clearly reality.

"Since your right in front of me." He smiled

It surprises Angelique from what she was hearing, she could not hide her expression as she faces turned slightly red.

"Are you alright?" Scott asked

"If you excuse me..." Angelique said as she stood up from her chair and run to the lady's room.

As she dashes inside, she quickly turned the faucet on and splashed her face with cold running water. As she checked herself in the mirror she notices her face looking like a tomato. "Ah-" She slams her hand on the sink as she did not know what to do.

A single drop of tear fell on her face, "Why?"
