"Mama!" w.a.n.g Reiji halted her steps when she heard her daughter's sweet voice.

"Why are you still up, sweetie?" w.a.n.g Reiji stopped her daughter from hugging her.

"Not so fast, sweetie. Mama needs to take a bath first." She then gave her daughter a quick kiss on the head instead.

"Come, let's go to our room." w.a.n.g Reiji then held hands with Europa.

"Eh, but there's a big mouse inside our room!" Europa cried as she tugged her mother's hand, gesturing not to go upstairs.

"Big mouse? What are you talking about sweetie?" w.a.n.g Reiji then turned her head to w.a.n.g Yuvin who was also dumbfounded as her.

"CEO w.a.n.g! You can't go in your room yet." Bai yelled out loud as she descended the stairs with Misha in her arms.

Bai then started narrating what happened inside w.a.n.g Reiji's bedroom. w.a.n.g Yuvin then checked all the CCTV screen but saw nothing suspicious. He then took some bodyguards to help him inspect around the villa. As soon as they got to the side, they noticed a set of footprints on the garden soil. They then followed the footprints which lead them to the gazebo. With just one look at the arrangement of the tables and chairs in the gazebo, w.a.n.g Yuvin became certain that there's a secret pa.s.sage around there somewhere. He instructed their men to search for the hidden pa.s.sage while he went inside to ask his sister about the gazebo.

"Sis, does this villa has a secret pa.s.sage? An underground tunnel that is linked somewhere outside, perhaps?"

w.a.n.g Reiji paused momentarily before she told Ai and Bai to take Europa upstairs and accompany her for a while. The twins were a bit reluctant as there was still no clear report about the incident earlier.

"No need to fret. There's no one inside the room now." w.a.n.g Reiji's eyebrow raised a notch, it seemed like she already knew who the intruder was.

"Wait, we are not yet sure about that. And right now, the safest place for Europa is just here beside us." w.a.n.g Yuvin countered his sister's order.

"I will tell you all the details once Europa got upstairs." w.a.n.g Reiji walked closer to w.a.n.g Yuvin to whisper in his ears.
