"It is a progression that I antic.i.p.ated in the future." Michael said slowly. "And a hospital is a real downer to be in. My wife is always excited to go home." He looked at Nolan with a little glint in his eye. "I'll notify the pilot we have additional cargo. I'll go settle my wife and tell the hospital personnel to prepare her on a stretcher for people to carry. Can you inform her and gather her necessities?"

Nolan nodded and made a sound that indicated that he would. As she watched his clean hands shake as it gripped the side rail as he moved down the hallway, Nolan couldn't help but wonder if this had been a little too easy? He was curious why the old butler hadn't been worried about his boss's opinion.

Nolan caught a nurse by the collar and asked about the necessary procedure. She handed him some paperwork to fill out and told him with a blank expression that it was probably better that the patient died in the company of relatives than alone in a hospital. Nolan made a face and fished out a pen from his knapsack. He filled everything out and turned it in when he ran into the doctor.

"h.e.l.lo again, Dr Amrati." Nolan said respectfully as he explained what was about to go down.

Dr Amrati leafed through the papers that Nolan had filled out and then pulled out Ellie's medical charts. He compared both of them briefly before signing off. "I think if Ellie was stable on the helicopter that got her here, she should be fine in the hospitals in New York City if some medical issue does arise. It won't hurt her anymore than in the pain she is in currently. She should survive transportation."

Survive? Nolan wanted to say something rude, but bit back his tongue. He came to his sister's room with a little spring in her step. He could see that Ellie was sitting up in her bed looking out of her drab window. Her look outside was limited to another concrete ward. He knew the CEO would have a much nicer view. Nolan knew with his non-existent funds he would have never been able to afford a nicer view. "Ellie, you're awake to some nice news for once."

Ellie gave him a brief smile as she rubbed her hands in her eyes.

Nolan continued. "Mr. Wong's helicopter is here. I talked to Amrati and he said Henri's request to have you moved to his home in New York City is okay-ed. You're leaving the hospital! He said you'd be his guest to take care of delightfully as he finds you so charming."

Like a flower, Ellie's smile soon budded into it's full soft delight. "He wants me to be in the same house?" She looked so pleased. "I never thought he wanted me to be a part of his heart. That's more than I ever thought I'd get out of a loveless marriage. How amazing fate is."
