The other man held his son fast as he looked frightened of the opposite's tattoos. This man had on simpler rough clothing and a steel bracelet on his wrist. He put a hand out to his trembling wife's shoulder. "She was here first, very early in morning." He clarified slowly.

Quickly their conversation was hijacked by the crowd standing around them, shouting alternative versions of the story or ignoring the claims altogether to voice their own. Many people wanted the next slot for themselves such that Nolan wondered if he would be needing a Tylenol soon to soothe his aching head. All he had wanted was a quiet conversation with the woman he loved, his hopes were slim now. He marched to the front desk and slowed his lunchbox under the desk. He stared at the children playing hide and seek there until they decided to flee. "Go back to your parents or go home." Nolan reminded them with a bit more force than necessary.

Neither of them moved to a parent. They both began to tussle in front of the reception area. Nolan eyes grew cold as he gave them bis college student glare, his specialty for when drunk idiots decided to come to his lectures. They both froze and started to scamper when Nolan reached for the telephone. "Do you need another reminder?"

The boys looked at her and at the angry mothers soothing their babies around them. They moved backwards until they melted into the crowd. Nolan sighed. He saw the aged telephone had a note to press 4 to make announcements. He held the receiver to his mouth and announced through the room's speakers. "I am a colleague of Dr Wu and I will be filling in at the moment for the receptionist. It is up to me then who and in what order patients will be seeing Dr Wu. First order of business, does anyone here need immediate medical a.s.sistance because of an emergency life or death situation?  If this is a situation that you fulfill I would make a recommendation to go to the emergency room immediately. Unfortunately we do not have one in this building but do so at the hospital across the street. Thank you."

Several hands raised and lowered as they realized this would not give them the jump in line they had hoped for. Several patients filed out of the reception area. Others gave Nolan the stink eye as their oozing wounds did nothing to further their case. It was a nice filtering out such that Nolan could see the room met fire safety. He found the remote by his desk and lowered the game's volume to mute before adding subt.i.tles.Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click for visiting.
