The Raging Thunder Stage is one of the biggest stages in the entire central region. Three spots are open and the hundreds of youths who qualify for the single spot are those whose name is currently listed in the Raging Thunder Board. Those who are on the board are contenders, but in all truthfulness, those who are Grade-B and A Rankers or the top 20 to 1 ranker are the only ones who have the right to represent the academy.

No one from below the rank of 20 had gotten the right to represent the academy in the last 753 years. The lowest the ranking had been shaken up was when a ranked 47 student swept the Festival and claimed the position with his own two hands.
