"YES!" the audience responded in unison.

"In my hands are the sections of our Magical Five, now who could they be?" the host said with a tone of suspense.

"I'm really nervous," Samantha said.

Ezekiel held her hand, "I'm here," he said then smiled at her.

"It's time to announce the sections who will join the Magic Five, first off... Section X!" the host said and the students from the Section X in the audience screamed.

"Next is... Section D!"

"Section K!"

"Second to the last... Section C!"

Instantly, Caleb's supporters bursted out screaming.

"OMG Caleb! We got in!" Bella clinged herself in Caleb's arms.

"Ew! Get away from me!" he brushed the woman off.

Samantha grew more nervous. Last one section to be announced.

"And last but not the least... Section A! Congratulations to all five sections!"

"We won Ezekiel!" getting carried away by the moment, Samantha suddenly hugged Ezekiel then jumped up and down due to joy.

"Congrats to us!" Ezekiel hugged her back.

"Of course this won't happen without your help, thank you so much!" she smiled at him.

"Then how about we go to the beach tomorrow weekend to celebrate?" he invited her.

"Sure! I'd love to!" she answered him happily.

After the pageant, Ezekiel walked Samantha home.

"Do you want to come in first? My mom really wants to meet you," Samantha invited him.

"Yeah sure, I'll ask her permission too for tomorrow," Ezekiel agreed.

Arriving at the doorstep, Ezekiel suddenly stopped.

Being a vampire, when entering a house, they needed to be invited by the owner first to be able to enter. He wasn't invited in yet.

"What are you doing there Ezekiel? Come in," Samantha said.

Ezekiel lifted is foot and tried to enter the house and he got in. He was already invited in this house.

"Samantha! You're home baby!" Samantha's mom walked out of the kitchen wearing ap.r.o.n and holding a laddle.

Samantha walked towards her mom and kissed her on the cheek.

"How was the pre-pageant baby?" asked her mom.

"We got in!" she happily informed her mom, "Oh by the way mom, this is Ezekiel, he's my partner in the pageant," Samantha pulled Ezekiel to her side.

"Hi Ma'am it's nice to finally meet you, I've heard good things about you from Samantha," Ezekiel said amd extended his hand to Samantha's mother.

"It's also nice to meet yoy Ezekiel, you really look handsome!" Samantha's mother complimented, "I just finished cooking dinner, do you want to join us?" she offered.

"Maybe next time Ma'am," he refused politely, "I just dropped by to ask for your permission, I want to take Samantha to the beach tomorrow to celebrate our win, if it's okay with you? Don't worry I'll make sure to keep her safe," Ezekiel said.

"Of course! It's okay for me!"

"I'll take my leave then, I'll pick her up tomorrow morning," Ezekiel smiled. Samantha and her mom bid him goodbye.

"I like Ezekiel for you baby,"

"Mom stop! We're just friends okay?" Samantha instantly blushed.

"Okay fine if you say so," her mom looked at her meaningfully which made her roll her eyes.

She's acting like a teenager!

Suddenly remembering what happened earlier, Samantha turned to ask her mom, "Mom will you think I'm crazy if I said that I saw men jumping on trees?" she said.

Her mom raised her brows, "What do you mean?" she asked.

"Earlier, I went to the school rooftop, then you know that there's a forest near the school right? I don't know if it's just my imagination or what, but I saw two groups of men chasing each other. They were jumping from one tree to another," she explained.

Suddenly her mom's facial expression changed, she looked worried. She immediately left the dining table then headed to her room to grab a necklace.

It was a silver necklace with a vial pendant.

"I need you to wear this Samantha and make sure to never ever remove it okay?"

"Uh mom? Why?" she asked, she was confused by her mom's sudden reactions.

"Just do it baby okay? Promise mommy to never take it off no matter what," she walked behind Samantha and helped her wear the necklace.

"Okay I promise," she said not asking anymore questions.

The next day, Samantha woke up really early for the beach trip with Ezekiel.

She readied her bag. She placed some extra beach clothes inside, a swim suit, sunscreen, hygiene kit and towel.

Then she went down to prepare some snacks that they can eat on the way for the both of them.

A few moments later, she already heard a beep from outside their house. She went to the window to check and it was Ezekiel.

She immediately grabbed her bag and the food she prepared, "Mom we're leaving!" she shouted.

"You guys take care! Have fun!" her mother responded.

Seeing Samantha, Ezekiel immediately approached her and helped her carry her bag.

"Wow you look really cute today," he complimented her.

She was wearing a cropped top paired with shorts and sandals.

Ezekiel placed the bags at the back of his car then opened the door for Samantha.

"The ride may take an hour or two, you can sleep if you want," she heard Ezekiel say.

"Okay then," she smiled at him.

In reality, she was really still sleepy. She made herself comfortable then closed her eyes.
