The slaves were the slaves from the Ica plains that the Purcell clan then transferred here. All of the crops had been infested in the Ica plains, and even spread so they attacked the woods. Even if they want to plant new crops there, they wouldnt dare. So the Purcell clan transferred the slaves here, making them load the grains.

Zhao Hai didnt manage them, but had laid a strict rule that the no one should go to the west side of Stony Mountain. Since the Purcell clan needed Zhao Hais cooperation now, no one dared to disobey.
