With his release, his sword changed and it surprised everyone as none had seen him using it before . . .

But the most affected one was the Vizards since they knew that he wanted to keep it hidden and use it on Aizen . . .

Hiyori: "That s.h.i.+tting s.h.i.+nji!!! What the f.u.c.k is he doing!!!"

Lisa: "He is doing what everyone should be doing . . . Going all out . . . "

Lisa: "He has decided that even with his mask he won't be able to beat Kaname in this form . . . "

s.h.i.+nji's sword, in its s.h.i.+kai state, the pommel becomes a large ring that allows Sakanade to rotate around s.h.i.+nji's hand without him actually gripping any part of the Zanpakuto .

This movement seems to relate to his sword's special ability as it confused Tosen why it rotates on it's own .

The first few inches of the blade are covered by an extension of the cross-guard .

Sakanade's blade is straight and slim, with the tip ending in a slanted razor-like edge instead of being tapered to a point .

There are also five holes along the sword's length .

Kaname: "No matter it will be useless either way . . . "

Kaname tried to block it and just as the blades touched his hands s.h.i.+nji vanished again, he then felt a sharp pain in his back as a large wound opened up with blood dripping from him . . .

He turned around and saw s.h.i.+nji standing there with the sword rotating in his hand . . .

Kaname: "What did you do??"

s.h.i.+nji: "Try and find out . . . "

Kname took the bait and started charging up reiatsu in his eyes making two different spheres to ne formed before he launched them at s.h.i.+nji . . .

Kaname: "Cero!!!"

Watching the Cero approaching s.h.i.+nji smiled while his sword spun faster and faster, many people then saw a pink mist being created .

Just as it had reached Kaname and while he inhaled a bit something that confused everyone happened . . .

s.h.i.+nji who took the damage from the Cero came out unscathed while Kaname had burns all over . . .

As he saying his words s.h.i.+nji was slowly placing his hand in his face and when he finished he brought his hand down causing a spike in his powers . . .
