“Pft!” Fang Duo couldn't help bursting into laughter. Was that the point?

Yi Juncheng couldn't help but smile when he heard what Fang Duo said, but then he was dumbfounded when he heard Sheng Yang's words.

He smiled and said meaningfully, “Your friend is quite interesting.”

The next day, Fang Duo and Ou Ye told the students about their experience at the Sheng family home, and the students felt very envious. Not everyone could visit the Sheng family house and become friends with the Sheng family.

After meeting Yi Juncheng, Fang Duo was no longer obsessed with fixing up Sheng Yang and Han Jingyu. She asked with gusto, “Yangyang, so is he the man you said is even better-looking than Han Jingyu?”

Han Jingyu happened to pa.s.s by with a book in his arms and overhear their conversation.

He suddenly felt a sharp pain inside. He returned to the cla.s.sroom blankly and opened his book. His deskmate knocked on his table several times, but he didn't even hear.

“G.o.d Han, G.o.d Han!” His deskmate couldn't help but poke him twice before Han Jingyu finally came out of his reverie. “Huh?”

He was expressionless as usual but his eyes were dim and the gleam of perseverance in his eyes was gone.

Depressed, Han Jingyu walked home dejectedly after school. When he walked to the school gates, he suddenly spotted a familiar figure which belonged to someone he hadn't seen for a long time but was looking forward to seeing. “Uncle!”

Ming Qi, who thought he had a good disguise, ran away when he heard this voice. He didn't come to see his nephew.

But seeing him running, Han Jingyu was even more certain that this guy was Ming Qi and ran faster after him.

He was no longer a kid and had grown much taller and stronger. As Han Jingyu caught up to him, Ming Qi could only stand in place, staring at him coldly. “Why are you chasing me?”

“Uncle, have you been in Yan City for a long time?” Han Jingyu had read the news about Ming Qi's partners.h.i.+p with the Sheng family, but he didn't tell Sheng Yue the famous Ming Qi was his uncle.

“Yeah,” Ming Qi said coldly, not any nicer to Han Jingyu although he was his nephew. This was his style.
