"Rain, wake up. I brought you some food."

She slowly sat up and rubbed her eyes. She grabbed some bread and began to eat it sleepily.

"So..... what happened to you exactly?" Carolinia asked. I was curious about that too.

"Well..." Rain started, thinking about how she would explain.

"...First off I'm a cloud fairy. I live in the clouds. Well one of the cloud kingdoms anyway."

"And your kingdom was attacked?"

"Hey! Don't jump ahead. I was getting to that."

"Sorry."

"Anyway." Rain started again with a huff. "It all started in c.u.mia, my home kingdom. The kingdom closet to your kingdom. Altoc.u.mia is the lowest of the middle cloud kingdoms, and they were pretty mellow until a new king came into power. He started putting these ideas in his people's heads."

"What sort of ideas?"

"The kind that basically said that they didn't have to live under Nimbia's rule anymore."

"Don't you guys all have your own separate governments established?" I asked confused.

"Sort of. It's a little complicated. Yes we have our own rulers, but they all have to answer to the emperor of Nimbia, the most powerful of the cloud kingdoms."

"Oh I see." I nodded.

"Anyway, Altoc.u.mia has started a revolt against the skies. And they started with the one directly underneath them. They've gone down the line and taken over each one below them, including my kingdom. They're building an army for the revolt against Nimbia."
