Chapter 1328 – Eavesdropping

 “Alright, I can accept that!” Old Hei nodded. If things really happened that way, then he could give him that five percent. After all, if they couldn't get past something that Lin Yi could solve, he wouldn't even get that twenty-five percent in the first place!

 “No problem!” Xiaoke nodded. Old Hei was actually fair, since this was the common price.

 “But let me be blunt- if you don't contribute to solving anything, then I'll only give you money to go home!” Old HEi said. “This ten percent needs to be earned!”

 “I understand.” Xiaoke said confidently, “You can trust in the name of the Flying Sparrow Sect. But, this ten percent I want in cash, not in items!”

 Xiaoke needed money, not treasures. Those would be annoying to sell.

 “Alright, but you need to understand the rules- it's twenty percent off of market price!” Old Hei said. “We won't be able to sell it right away, and holding it holds a certain risk!”

 “I understand!” Xiaoke nodded. “But the things none of you want, I can pick up, right?”

 “You can.” Old Hei nodded.

 Lin Yi couldn't help but feel amused- this girl sure cared for money, even picking up stuff others didn't want! But those things would be money, too, and these thieves gathered here had high aspirations.  “We'll go back first then,” Lin Yi stood up and walked out with Lingshan and Yutian following them.

 “Everyone go rest, replenish yourself. We enter the tomb tomorrow morning!” Old Hei nodded.

 Back in the tent, Lingshan spoke up immediately. “That Flying Sparrow…”

 But Lin Yi covered her mouth instantly, showing her a shush sign. He finished the sentence. “Hmph, just because she's a Sparrow doesn't guarantee her usefulness. We have key information regarding this tomb, after all, so even if they can solve the previous steps, the final step will be on our shoulders. Otherwise, all of them would die without our help!”

 With that, Lin Yi pointed at a corner of the tent, and Yutian and Lingshan looked in that direction. There was a tapping device on the metal wire!

 Lingshan froze, thinking that she almost messed up. She was too reckless- if it weren't for Lin Yi's reaction, they'd have exposed themselves! She was about to say that the Sparrow was You Xiaoke, the one she was trying to capture!

 But Lin Yi's words made it clear why he was so confident in asking for twenty- so he had a trump card, info on the tomb! Luckily for him, he thought. He said yes to Lin Yi's demands. Otherwise, if this guy got p.i.s.sed, he could get him killed! The couple would get all the benefits!

 A while later, it sounded like the Tian found the listener, and the transmission ended. It was destroyed.

 “So the couple has a trump card, no wonder they were so arrogant!” Old Hei's right-hand man said. He was in charge of listening in on the other thieves as well, but they didn't say anything important and removed all the bugs as well.
