At Zhang Corporation, Zhang Tianyu was in his office for quite some time, in a bid to cement his alibi should the police question him. In the past, investigators said search is office with a warrant. Now that his niece suddenly met with an unforeseeable crash, he knew that the prime suspect will be him. Nonetheless, he wasn't bothered by the possible outcome, since he had "people" in the police that were his eyes and ears, alerting him of any move that would be made his way.

A knock at the door announced his secretary Ms. Jiang, who alerted him of the tragic news involving the heiress and also told him of the demand made by the press for an exclusive interview. As soon as she was done speaking, Zhang Tianyu dismissed her from the office.

Before the Secretary came in, Zhang Tianyu had been pacing up and down his s.p.a.cious office, while his aide stood by the door. As though he was waiting on something to happen or for someone.

No sooner had Gao Yifeng taken the pencil shaped plastic tubing of yellow, containing the said medication and gave it to the President of Zhang Corporation. A drastic change came over him after applying the clear liquid drops in excess to both eyes. Gone was the look of irritation and and anger, in place was an expression of grief and anguish.

The two left together, heading towards the ground floor where the press conference was to take place. Along the way, Gao Yifeng called ahead to the security team of Zhang Tianyu to prepare for their entrance.

When the press saw the s.h.i.+ft in the bodyguards of Zhang Tianyu, how more rushed out from various directions, they took it as a clue that the President of Zhang Corporation was on his way for an interview. With the mics set and the camera on standby, they all sprung in action when they saw him and his aide walk in. By this time, the cameras and mics was trained in their direction.

"President Zhang, what do you think of the tragic accident of your niece, Miss Zhang?! Do you think it is coincidence or was it planned?"

Taking a moment to gather his thoughts and looking as distraught as he could possibly be, the President of Zhang Corporation gave his reply, "It pains me dearly to see the daughter of my late brother having to go through this much in life. I don't know how she's faring and my heart bleeds from the thought of knowing that we might never get to see each other again. I won't be able to extend the interview, right now I have to see how she's doing."

They saw how red his eyes were with possible tears from the moistness on his cheeks, the feeling of sympathy from the press grew towards Zhang Tianyu, thinking he had been crying his eyes out from the sad news surrounding his niece.

Forcing the press out of the way to make room for the President of Zhang Corporation, numerous men in corporate black pushed against the large gathering of reporters, as Zhang Tianyu and Gao Yifeng walked out through the main entrance, heading for Zhang villa, the home of Zhang Mi, former President and possible soon to be elected President of Zhang Corporation.

The Hong family's debate came to an abrupt end on hearing the announcement from a female reporter.

Madam Hong hurriedly reached for the remote to increase the volume, her daughter had her mouth covered in dismay, while Hong Lian shook his head in disbelief. The President of Hongsheng Holdings had an unreadable look in his eyes, the only one with a gleeful look was Madam Hong, as she steadfastly watched the gruesome coverage from the scene of the accident.
