The eyes which appeared on Ismail’s back had already become crystal clear, as though they were real. In the black eye orbitals, four purple pupils rotated continuously. The two wardens felt their breathing become labored, as though their souls were going to crumble.

Ismail did not use any attack skill, he only used his terror. The two wardens were from the inquisition, so they were unusually familiar with the Lord of Glory’s depiction of purgatory.

This eye was extremely renowned in purgatory. It was the Eye of Hades.

Only the immediate subordinates of the evil G.o.d of the purgatory; King Hades would possess such a skill. This skill was given by King Hades, no one could cultivate it on their own.

The two wardens were dreadful, because they suddenly thought to themselves, “Why are there purgatory creatures on the Myers mainland? Have the gates of purgatory been opened? I… have only violated the teachings of my G.o.d occasionally, he must be trying to mete out punishment now!”

“Is the world going to be destroyed? Why did G.o.d open the gates to purgatory?”

The two wardens were distraught, and they recalled that the newest code disseminated by the Holy See had mentioned the doomsday trial for the first time ever.

Those who abandoned G.o.d would eventually be destroyed; the blasphemers would surely fall. The fire of purgatory represented the anger of G.o.d, there was only one thing which could be done; salvation. The aforementioned things originated from the Holy See’s seventh code; the Doomsday Revelation.

The two wardens were weak and disoriented, the magic nuclei mosaicked into their armor had dimmed. Frost engulfed the armor in an instant. A crack was heard, it turned out that a warden had crushed his own ribs. These two men no longer made any noise, as the low temperature of the Purgatory Desert swiftly took away their lives.

Ismail did not do anything. He only intimidated them, and these two wardens, who were at the standard of a high grade swordmaster, had perished. Delase’s and Fanyin’s expression took an abrupt turn. They had a skill called the Eye of G.o.d which enabled them to observe things several miles into the distance.

Could that man standing atop a flying dragon in the sky above Lex’s camp be a purgatory enforcer?

A purgatory enforcer was the mightiest fighter serving the h.e.l.l King, they did not have emotions and could not feel pain. They simply obeyed the h.e.l.l King’s commands, even if it meant challenging other G.o.ds.

In the divine language, such a creature was known as a demiG.o.d. The Lord of Glory did not acknowledge the existence of other G.o.ds, even the h.e.l.l King was labelled as an evil G.o.d by him. In fact, the h.e.l.l King was like the G.o.ddess of Myers, he was a G.o.d who had been birthed from the purgatory plane, and he had never left this plane.

Such G.o.ds did not usually emphasize the power of faith, so they were not pa.s.sionate in preaching. The demiG.o.ds who served them wielded horrifying power.

It was no wonder then that Delase and Fanyin had misjudged the situation, because Ismail had used the Eye of Hades so effortlessly and his appearance had also been fully transformed by Nailisi. Had Ismail been in his original appearance, these two adjudicators would have immediately recognized his ident.i.ty as a purgatory walker. The problem was that even a grade-9 sorcerer could not expose Nailisi’s Ultimate Shapes.h.i.+fting Skill.

“Let’s go!” Delase and Fanyin yelled. The long black robes over their body turned into a pair of wings suddenly, as they soared into the sky.

Fanyin’s black robe also transformed into a pair of wings, but he actually dashed in Ismail’s direction.

Delase spun around mid-air, chasing after Fanyin. He did not do so because he wanted to die with Fanyin, but because he had recalled that the flying speed of a Six-legged Flying Dragon was several times faster than his wings. Besides being less flexible than Delase’s wings, the Six-legged Flying Dragon’s flying could be considered perfect.

A Six-legged Flying Dragon could remain airborne for long durations, it was not afraid of magic and its defensive power was astonis.h.i.+ng. Its dragon’s breath was also very powerful. It was a rare type of wurm who possessed similarly powerful offensive abilities to a dragon. Other than lifespan problems, a Six-legged Flying Dragon was almost a pedigree breed of dragon.

Delase did not even know how he had been discovered. In the Purgatory Desert, the perception and the elements were all in disorder. A person who could exert their perception for hundreds of yards was already considered powerful. Delase was stalking from over three miles away. Logically, he should not have been discovered.

He did not know that Saleen was an extremely meticulous person. Every twenty miles or so, Saleen would toss a bubble into the sand. This bubble did not contain any detection magic abilities, but since Saleen’s special spell had been infused with the G.o.ddess’ Power of Life, the telepathic distance between Saleen and the bubbles was extremely protracted.

Saleen could feel that people were following him from behind. He had only discovered the two wardens, he did not discover Delase and Fanyin. Under the protection of a divine spell, Delase and Fanyin were heavily obscured. The wardens had exposed their existence.

Ismail had realized that Saleen was feeling uneasy, so he used the power gifted by the G.o.ddess of Myers to locate the scent of the stalkers. Since Ismail believed in King Hades, he was extremely sensitive to believers of other G.o.ds. Even though King Hades had never left the purgatory plane, the believers of other G.o.ds had come forth in the past to ignite wars.

That being said, this Ismail was also a monster. Most creatures could only believe in one G.o.d. If they believed in too many G.o.ds, it meant that all their beliefs, with the exception of one, were bogus. Bogus believers could not obtain the abilities gifted by the G.o.ds. Ismail had actually obtained two different powers from King Hades and the G.o.ddess of Myers despite having faith in the both of them.

The thing more horrifying was that those st.i.tched monsters and evil knights created by Ismail also believed in King Hades. With faith, one could use a Divine spell. Given Ismail’s experience, and provided he had help, he could still deal with two adjudicators even though his powers had declined to grade-8.

“Humph! Your scents are so abominable!” As Ismail spoke, he unraveled his long robe. As his robe danced with the wind, dozens of monsters flew out from it. Those monsters had mottled skin covered with scars. The scars had been st.i.tched together using needle and thread, forming a weird human like appearance.

King Hades resembled a human, and the st.i.tched monsters Ismail created also looked like humans. Small wings were sewn onto the backs of these st.i.tched monsters. They flew at very high speed, towards the two adjudicators.

Due to extreme fear, Delase immediately wielded his strongest weapon; the Twelve Notes of the First Purgatory.

It was a crimson book, and drawn on top of it was the Eye of Hades that was found on Ismail’s back. The image of the Eye of Hades on the book cover had been bound by chains, this represented the power of the Lord of Glory.

Even though Fanyin was more decisive, he was also greatly alarmed. “If the demiG.o.d directly under King Hades had appeared, then… a struggle will not amount to much.”

Fanyin also committed a mistake. He had taken out a duplicate of the Twelve Notes of the First Purgatory; A Flower in Blood. The purple book opened up in Fanyin’s hand.

When these two books were used individually, they were different in their own ways. When used together, they would establish a purgatory s.p.a.ce. This s.p.a.ce simulated the environment of a purgatory, all substances in the s.p.a.ce could be used to attack the target. In this s.p.a.ce, Delase and Fanyin were like mages whose magic chords and mental strength never got depleted.

Such a s.p.a.ce created by the Holy See’s holy equipment would allow these two people to be invincible against anyone who was of the same grade as them. Even if the enemy had stronger powers, the enemy would also be restrained by the rules of the s.p.a.ce, causing their powers to be greatly reduced.

These two people were in state of confusion. Ismail was originally a purgatory creature. Were they not seeking death by simulating the purgatory environment?

Ismail and the dozens of st.i.tched monsters rushed into the purgatory s.p.a.ce, even the Six-legged Flying Dragon under Ismail did not hesitate.

“The flames of purgatory are so familiar, maybe the two of you don’t have to die after all,” Ismail teased. He grabbed a ball of pale flames out of the sky and swallowed it.

Hoo…

The flames emerged from Ismail’s nose, then Ismail spit it out.

“I am upset again since the temperature is too low, so the both of you shall die!” Ismail grabbed a spear from the gigantic eye on his back. This spear was about five yards long and its pole was green, it was an iconic weapon of the G.o.ddess of Myers.

The two adjudicators were very apprehensive in the purgatory s.p.a.ce, but they were still familiar with the Elemental Spear. The Lord of Glory had done countless of things to slander the G.o.ddess of Myers. As a result, the higher echelons in the Holy See actually had a deeper understanding of the G.o.ddess of Myers.

The Elemental Spear was not a weapon condensed from the elements. On the contrary, this spear could destroy all elements. Even if a grade-11 mage was holding up a Magic s.h.i.+eld, the mage could not withstand a stab from the Elemental Spear. Even though Ismail’s spear, which was more than five yards in length, was not the seven yard long genuine item, it was an imitation personally crafted by the G.o.ddess of Nature.

Delase and Fanyin were both believers of a G.o.d, but they could not understand who this man, who had tossed all those st.i.tched monsters and surrounded them, was. They could not understand why this man would have the horrifying Elemental Spear in his hand.

The Elemental Spear did not just destroy elemental defense, it could also ruin divine magic.

Not mentioning the content of how the Lord of Glory slandered the G.o.ddess, judging by their explicit display of jealousy, one could already guess that this weapon created by the G.o.ddess might have caused the Lord of Glory to suffer before.

There was something Delase and Fanyin could not understand. Since the person in front of them could control the st.i.tched monsters, he should not have the Elemental Spear in his possession. The Elemental Spear was only owned by the believers of the G.o.ddess, and they had to be devout believers to earn one.

This Elemental Spear was obviously taken out from the Eye of Hades.

Woo…

A metal chain flew out of Delase’s hands, trapping a st.i.tched monster. A st.i.tched monster was not some powerful creature, it could not even be considered as a creature, it was only a half-puppet like object. The st.i.tched monsters created by a purgatory walker were actually related to the walker’s abilities. Most purgatory walkers had already reached grade-9, but after leaving purgatory, their powers would be drastically reduced.

At the moment, Ismail was at least a grade-8 creature, so the st.i.tched monsters might not be that mighty. With a thud, it had broken Delase’s metal chain.

“Manacle!” Delase hollered. The fragments of that metal chain retraced its steps, transforming into a single ent.i.ty once again, entrapping the st.i.tched monster. This time around, holy words had appeared, staining the metal chain.
