Saleen had that idea at the last moment. After he found out what Nailisi did, he gave her a lecture and used his family badge to make Nailisi understand that she was still his summoned creature. She could not make decision as she wished and ruin his plan.

After that, Saleen brought Nailisi to see Lex for a discussion on how to solve the problem. When he saw Bifano standing in the plaza of the central hall, he immediately had a new idea. Walking past Bifano was something a normal mage would not do. Bifano was a swordmaster, after all, and his response speed was too fast.

There were three strong hatchet men around Saleen though. Everyone of them had the ability to suppress Bifano, so he naturally had no worries about his own safety. Using the water current from his calabash to tie Bifano up, even a sorcerer would not be able to dispel the water current. Saleen’s mind was at ease.

As long as Bifano did not die, his underlings would not fight to the death with him. The stratagem was not worth anything once revealed, but no one knew Nailisi had already summoned four strong demons.

Saleen brought everyone around him together and Lex’s people were in the hall. No matter what happened outside, no one would think that it was related to him.

Once he proved that he was “innocent”, Bifano would comfort his soldiers and he would have the idea to take his anger out on the innocent and the guilty. Saleen did not believe that Bifano had no hidden agenda to deal with him.

Bifano’s face grew awkward as his body was wrapped up with the terrifying water current. He had seen with his eyes when Saleen used it to cut the steel rock and he knew that his magic armor could not withstand such an attack. He could only follow Saleen into the hall helplessly.

“Your Highness Lex, what do you mean?”

“Nothing.” Saleen interrupted, “The two-hundred soldiers that you sent over to my, I have killed them. I brought you in case you made an unwise choice.” Saleen spoke as he controlled the water current. Bifano could not help but sit down with Saleen. His body was tied up with the water current that could cut metal. Saleen of course would not let him move freely.

When the water current was not in attack mode, it did not expend much mental strength. Saleen was fully charged with mental strength, even if he ran the water current on Bifano constantly, he could persist for ten days.

“Wild Bear, close the door.” Lex was not bothered by Bifano, but called Wild Bear to return and close the door of the hall tightly.

Bifano’s face grew worse, but he heard Saleen killed his two-hundred people and he calmed down. He belittled the mage, he dared to make a move without hesitation.

Outside the central hall, Bifano’s soldiers could only guard there helplessly. Their small duke was captured and they could only listen to the few mages. The mages could only comfort every one. If within a few days time, there was not any danger, Princess Lex would not make it difficult for the small Duke. That was an unspoken rule between the n.o.bles.

If n.o.ble captured another n.o.ble, there was hardly any incident where they killed one another. Unless they bore a deep grudge against the other n.o.ble they would not murder.

The soldiers in the plaza could not return. They guarded at the entrance and made sure there was no one that left from the entrance. There was no day or night in the temple and they only relied on the magic mechanical clock for time keeping. After six hours, there was more unfortunate news. This time, those who were killed were the carpenters that Bifano brought.

The few mages discussed it and came to a mutual agreement that there must be someone left behind from the pink army and they were launching attacks in the dark. Although Bifano’s army went through a few sacrifices, there were more than four-thousand of them gathered in the temple hall.

Bifano’s a.s.sistants were mainly the mage and some magic apprentices that were more knowledgeable. The mage was in charge of his safety and his fighting while the magic apprentices were in charge of management.

The tasks were delegated quickly. The four-thousand soldiers were reorganized into four regiments to check each hall one after another. The rest of the soldiers were made to protect the carpenters and farmers. Bifano brought some farmers and they were mainly there to take care of the warhorses.

Such focused action could search every spot that one could hide thoroughly. They looked for two days straight, but there was no clue and there were not any deaths within those two days too.

The morale of the soldiers began to fall. The small duke was captured, everyone that Princess Lex brought was in the central hall, but someone died after that so it obviously was not done by Princess Lex’s people and the people in the central hall were no longer suspects. Still no one dared to ask Princess Lex to release the small duke.

In the central hall, Bifano had lost his drive. Saleen did not take one glance at him since bringing him in. He could not compare to a mage, he needed to eat, drink, and use the lavatory. Saleen could remain stagnant for a few days, but Bifano could not.

A swordmaster could already control blood and muscle. Without eating for two days, he would not die of starvation. The thing was, Bifano’s stomach was extremely bloated. There was a place behind the hall for him to get rid of it, but he could not move as he was still wrapped up in the water current.

On the third night, Bifano could not hold on anymore. He would not want to be a swordmaster that died from holding his waste.

“Mister Mage, please allow me to go for a quick moment.” Bifano had no choice, but to say his demands straightforwardly. If he were to beat around the bush, he was worried that Saleen would pester him.

“It’s urgent?” Saleen opened his eyes and stopped meditation. Besides meditation, he used his badge to continuously absorb the excessive electric current that lightning dragon gave out for the two days. The badge was fully absorbed with energy. Saleen believed that if he were to take out his badge when he was attacked, the electric current would be released automatically. This would be more secure compared to last time.

“Very.” Bifano gritted his teeth. He was afraid that any of his extra movement would cause bad consequences. There were a bunch of females in the hall. If he were to embarra.s.s himself in front of these people, he would want to die anyway.

“Jola, take him.”

“Master, you can’t make me do that!” Jola panicked. “What kind of mission is this?”

Saleen squinted his eyes and asked, “If you don’t, who will?”

Jola looked around, it seemed like only Wild Bear was another suitable candidate. With Wild Bear’s temperament, he’d rather not cause any trouble. Wild Bear might not be his match, but it would be unnecessary to p.i.s.s Lex off.

Saleen retracted the water current into his calabash to continue nouris.h.i.+ng. Bifano felt his body grow light and Jola was already before him. Jola grabbed his belt and lifted him up.

Bifano felt humiliated, but he could only let Jola lift him and walk to the back of the hall. Jola’s sword aura had seeped into his body. If Jola could control a grand mage, he of course could control Bifano.

Jola lifted Bifano and spoke as he walked, “Small duke, are you dissatisfied with me?”

Bifano could not answer, he was afraid that he would let loose with one breath.

“Swordmasters have five roots of sword aura. Do you believe that I could seal off all your roots and make you disabled?” Jola had slight sympathy towards women, but towards men like Bifano, he did not have a good att.i.tude. In the Cloudflow palace, he had seen many n.o.bles. He would not be pressured because of Bifano’s ident.i.ty.

Bifano was dumbfounded. Only a swordmaster that had inheritance like him would understand what Jola said. A commoner that practiced sword aura would never hear of that their entire life.

“Your Honor, please forgive my att.i.tude.” Bifano admitted defeat. He was afraid that Jola would really do it.

“Humph.” Jola threw Bifano onto the ground and pointed at the room in front, “This is a washroom. Go to the back and you will see the toilet bowl. If you do anything funny, I will make you a disabled person that instant.”

Bifano rolled and crawled into the washroom quickly. A building with such structure had not changed in trend, he was not afraid that he could not find a toilet bowl.

Behind the washroom was the toilet. Bifano found the toilet bowl and sat on it. He immediately took something out from under his clothing. It was a metal box which was palm sized.

There was a detailed and complicated magic array in the metal box. It also had six high level magic nuclei inlaid in it. It was a transportation portal. As it was too small, it could not transport any items, only messages that were prepared beforehand.

In the temple, a normal transportation portal would not be able to be built. Bifano once entered a temple and he knew the characteristics of the temple. He had his teacher make him an equipment that could send out messages from inside the temple.

Lex did the same and made a special transportation portal to send messages back to Metatrin City.

The message in the box was extremely easy, it was just to inform his teacher he was in trouble. His teacher was supposed have left the Princess Castle and was not stranded by Tanggulasi army.

Bifano might not be as smart as Lex, but he was also a genius, not an idiot. Saleen did not hurt him on the surface, but he could feel danger.

The young mage had no emotional fluctuation. That only proved one thing, that he had made his decision.

Bifano was a high level apprentice and he could activate such magic arrays that were prepared beforehand. He transferred his mental strength into the magic array and the brilliance of magic lit up. The six high level magic nuclei then lost their s.h.i.+ne that instant.

“What are you doing?!” Jola felt the ripples in the s.p.a.ce. He was not any ordinary swordmaster and he could feel the element changes. How could he fight against a mage otherwise. Jola took out Tears and rushed into the washroom and kicked open the door.

He saw that Bifano was sitting on the toilet bowl while holding a metal box in his hands. The inside of the box had a delicate magic pattern. The elemental fluctuation and s.p.a.ce changes that occurred earlier were from the box.

Bifano was suddenly energetic and told Jola, “Why raise your sword? I have already sent out the news. If I were to get hurt, all of you shall wait for the Agares family to take revenge.”

“I thought that was it.” Jola sheathed his long sword and looked unbothered.

Bifano laughed coldly, “You thought when t.i.tan was finished the Agares family would be done? Go ahead and ask Lex. If so, why would she collaborate with me if I was supposed to be useless?”

“That’s none of my business.” Jola landed a heavy punch on Bifano’s left eye. The punch was entirely based off strength of his body without any additional sword aura. Although Jola was slapdash, he actually received brutal training when he was younger. Relying on his body strength only, he could also punch Bifano’s eye to black and blue and it was instantly swollen.

Bifano’s pants were half way down his legs and he could not counter attack. He looked at Jola in shock, wondering what got into Jola.

“I didn’t like you from the very beginning. If my master didn’t stop me, I would have chopped you into hash. It is in your best interest you don’t think of any other fishy moves. Take off all your clothes.”

Bifano was terrified. “Take off my clothes? Does Jola have that kind of hobby?”

In Cloudflow, there were many n.o.bles that took a liking towards men. He could tell with one look that Jola was from Cloudflow. How could Bifano not be afraid to take off his clothes before Jola in such a place?
