Chapter 1380: To Slaughter A G.o.d (Part 2)

Save me!

The disciples who did not have a strong enough faith in their hearts heard this cry at the same time. It had been released by their G.o.d. Then they saw their G.o.d trapped in a humongous cage with electric currents flas.h.i.+ng. Their G.o.d was crying out in pain.

This was real!

The War Drum of Fear placed this unbearable image in the hearts of those disciples. The army immediately descended into chaos and rushed at the strong people in front. After losing the support from the back, their ranks immediately dropped by one level. The Holy See’s army had always banded together in a battle to solidify its power.

Most of the strong people were knights at the rank of Silver Grand Sword aster. With the support of the troops behind them, they could attain the combat ability of a Golden Grand Swordmaster.

The Golden Grand Swordmasters could break through large ranks and become a strong True Might.

In an instant, the War Drum of Fear shattered all of this into dust. The people who had rushed to the front exposed their true colors and subsequently were subjected to the effects of the War Drum of Fear.

The most-feared object began to surface in their hearts, one after another.

Rafel saw that the troops that had rushed forth were suddenly in disarray. How could she let go of this opportunity? She had indeed cut to the chase. From her spatial equipment, she retrieved an object that Saleen used to joke with her about.

It was a gigantic magic cannon with a diameter of six meters and a length of 128 meters. Only a person with level-13 strength like her would have the mental power to use it without worrying about a mental breakdown.

This magic cannon was the only equipment that relied on the magic power furnace for power. Rafel set the magic cannon down and directly triggered the magic array on its upper part.

A high-energy beam shot out. The range of this gigantic magic cannon was 30 kilometers.

Amid the sound of the War Drum of Fear, very few Holy Masters were able to react. The shot created a pathway 30 kilometers long. Even the armors of the knights that had not been directly hit melted away.

The pathway opened by Fycro became the pathway to h.e.l.l.

Rafel used her summoning skill, and tiny metal angels flew out from her s.p.a.ce. She used her hand to slowly stroke these miniature metal angels and said, “Keep your eye on this cannon. When the enemies charge, you can release it again. Did you get that?”

The miniature metal angels descended onto the magic array on the magic cannon and nodded, indicating that they understood.

Only then did Rafel spread her wings and take flight, rus.h.i.+ng towards the end of the pathway.

She needed to route them from the back and kill as many of Fycro’s disciples as she could. Most of Fycro’s power still came from these disciples. As a battle angel, she understood that she had to be the greatest help to Saleen.

Saleen heard Jason call. He used a secret technique that allowed his soul to hear simple rhythmic sounds, which were the secret code of mage. He told Saleen a specific coordinate point.

With this method, no one would be able to eavesdrop.

Saleen placed his clan badge within his Thunder Dragon Bangle, prepared to retrieve and use it anytime. Although the clan badge had finished releasing its attacks, it was not entirely useless. After all, it still had its energy-absorbing function. If Fycro used any skills to doggedly defend himself, the clan badge would be able to fulfill its greatest purpose.

Saleen had used Jalin’s movement skill. Before, he had not advanced and was still not too familiar with the signature traits of this skill. It had still been fine for him to use it to travel quickly, but it had been somewhat strenuous to use it in battle. Now, with each step he took, earth’s power would be there to support him; the speed of his movements had already surpa.s.sed Jalin’s.

Saleen’s Ring of Cosmis was rotating slowly. Two identical runes overlapped one another, allowing Saleen to feel the earth’s power with more clarity.

Earth had life. It was like a beating heart. Earth was complex and absolutely was not as simple as the elemental mages had said it was.

On earth were rocks, metals, and all types of plants. It was also teeming with life. There were also underground fires, magnetic forces, the light that had existed before, and the everlasting darkness.

Earth also had flowing rivers and lakes. Some lakes were almost as big as the Caspian Sea. Some materials had absorbed the power of light element and turned into a solid or liquid state. These materials could still be converted to fire-elemental power and release the power of light element. But fundamentally, they had the power of earth and water elements.

All this was wondrous. Saleen’s footsteps became faster and faster as he moved forward according to the rhythm of the earth and easily avoided all obstacles.

Fycro encountered Jason at the borders of the forest. He had used the simplest wind-travel spell to arrive before Fycro and clashed with him in an extremely tough duel.

Jason’s Rings of Water and Fire were released from his body and arranged themselves into a mighty territory.

The divine giant dragon within Fycro’s Mirror of Fate had initially gained the advantage. It had kept tight control over the ball of gray-colored evil aura and was in the process of refining it. At this time, a fire dragon rushed into the Mirror of Fate and collided into the body of the divine giant dragon.

The fire dragon’s limbs persistently held onto the divine giant dragon as it began to bite and tear. The divine giant dragon roared in pain and wanted to use the power of the Mirror of Fate. At this time, however, the evil aura immediately broke through his seal and entered his body.

With a booming sound, the divine giant dragon’s body exploded, causing the flaming giant dragon to fly out from the impact.

The divine giant dragon immediately rea.s.sembled, but there was no longer a divine aura on its body. Rather, it appeared extremely evil.

“What an interesting creature!” The divine giant dragon used its tail to whip the flaming giant dragon. The wrestling of both sides resulted in an intense energy wave within the Mirror of Fate. The cracks on the surface of the Mirror of Fate that had just been restored were reopened.

“Fycro, you’re a genius, but you are destined to fall,” Jason said coldly towards his powerful opponent.

Fycro was in low spirits, but in an instant, he roared with laughter and said, “Jason, I’m also level-13. Your mage’s mantra is ineffective towards me!”

“Is that so? You rely too much on the power of equipment, while I have focused on advancing myself. Apart from the magic amplifier, I don’t rely on anything else. My determination to serve magic surpa.s.ses all disciples who serve their G.o.ds.”

“No need to burst my confidence. When I decided to become a G.o.d, I had already made preparations for my falling. Jason, you’re a mage worthy of respect. Let’s have a decisive battle here.”

“Decisive battle?” Jason laughed and said, “Your Incarnation has already been held in check by my student and definitely cannot come to your aid. Are you really so confident you’ll be able to defeat a mage of the same level who has a magic amplifier? I know that you have brought millions of disciples, but what about me? My magic amplifier can increase my power by more than 40 times. You will not be my match.”

“If that’s the case, say no more!” Fycro’s voice turned shrill. The Mirror of Fate in his hands suddenly split itself into three. One piece still had starlight wound around it. The evil aura inside appeared in a flash. Evidently, it could no longer be used. However, the other two Mirrors of Fate were blindingly bright.

Fycro coldly said, “Fate includes the past, present, and future. You only destroyed my Mirror of the Future, whereas my main weapon is the Mirror of the Present.”

“Without a Weapon’s Spirit, they’re all garbage!” As Jason spoke, the Rings of Water and Fire combined. From within the rings, a big and tall giant walked out and s.n.a.t.c.hed at Fycro’s direction.

“A life without a past is a tree without roots…” Fycro recited a prayer. Holy light shot out from within the Mirror of the Past and enveloped the body of the Weapon’s Spirit. Suddenly, the Weapon’s Spirit became blurry, as if it would dissipate any moment.

“Only the present is eternal!” Once Fycro spoke his second sentence, holy light shot out from the Mirror of the Present and surrounded Jason. Jason suddenly felt he could not move, and could not even open his mouth to speak.

The Weapon’s Spirit had been shone upon by the holy light. Its body suddenly cracked in two. One side was blurry and appeared as if it would collapse at any moment. The other was in a translucent state. It held the Elemental Blade in its hands and chopped at Fycro’s third mirror.

With a shattering sound, the Mirror of the Future was completely broke into pieces.

Then the holy light of the other two mirrors immediately dimmed. Jason wriggled his body and broke free of the envelopment of the holy light. The other Weapon’s Spirit also spewed flames all over its body and burned the holy light till nothing was left.

“Impossible!”

Fycro yelled in panic. Although he was only level-13, his holy light had a level-15 rule. It was a power he had stolen from the Lord of Glory.

“What a tragedy. You thought the rules of light were of a higher level than the rules of fire element?” Jason did not forget to ridicule Fycro. Fycro did not know why this mage’s chiding was always so hard to bear. The power of the mage’s mantra was always affecting his judgment.

“Unless you are a fire G.o.d!” Fycro released a low howl from his throat. He didn’t believe his holy light would be destroyed by fire element.

“Becoming a G.o.d was never my goal. Fycro, I want to become an existence that surpa.s.ses the G.o.ds. Your death today is just a beginning,” As Jason spoke, two elemental snakes flew out from the Rings of Water and Fire and wrapped around Fycro.

“When I become a G.o.d, I’ll destroy all magic spells. From birth, humans will have G.o.dly power. They will not need to labor or conquer, and will not need to serve magic.” Fycro mumbled, and his two mirrors once again shot out holy light. This time, however, Jason easily dodged them. The fire element Weapon’s Spirit was not so fortunate and was once again caged in holy light.

The Rings of Water and Fire trembled slightly, and the two Weapon’s Spirits returned into the Rings of Water and Fire. They were not under the control of the holy light.

“Within my territory, it’s impossible for you to defeat me.” The elemental snake had already wrapped itself around Fycro’s body, the surface of which was full of Holy Prose, but the two elemental snakes did not feel it at all. They forcefully constricted and strangled inward.

“When I become a G.o.d, only light will be eternal. Elemental! Destruction!” Fycro shouted loudly. The two elemental snakes wrapped around his body were immediately eliminated.

Jason’s expression turned solemn. Fycro’s will was steadfast, surpa.s.sing his expectations.

Mage’s mantra was a strong magic spell. It was like Prophecy magic, but without its harming power of Prophecy magic. Such a magic spell could not be learned by every mage. Even in the ancient era, many level-18 mages did not know this magic spell.

Because Jason had cultivated a secret technique, his Power of the Soul was strong. After he had used the mage’s mantra by chance, he repeatedly cultivated it. Finally, he studied this unknown magic spell until he became proficient in it.

It could not affect Fycro, however. There was already a divine boundary in Fycro’s heart, which was the model for a divine kingdom. The strength of this pseudo G.o.d’s spirit caused Jason to feel resigned.
