“Well then, let’s…do this together!” Theisio’s voice carried mystical powers. The remaining 40 red-robed bishops opened their holy codeses and began chanting prayers of sacrifice.

“Demons!” Saleen shouted, and hundreds of demons formed a large magic array. Every demon was giving their lives as well. It was Constellation Sacrifice, a spell that Saleen had prepared for a long time.

The lives of hundreds of demons were quickly drained. All of them had several thousands of years of life. Some even had up to ten thousand. With the ma.s.sive numbers sacrificed, the demons’ sacrifice was far more potent than the red-robed bishops.

Black rain fell from above, splattering Theisio’s defense territory.

That would not have been the outcome if all seven of the level ten holy masters were still intact!

Saleen’s battles were all interconnected, and there was no way Theisio knew that Saleen would be able to cast that many level 11 magic spells.

Level 11 spells were indefensible to level nine holy masters.

Only four of the holy masters were able to rapidly burn their lives in time, and their bodies disintegrated into holy light, attacking Saleen. However, the Water s.h.i.+eld on Saleen’s body was level ten and there were four layers of it. Every layer was packed with lightning magic patterns.

The only good lightning magic patterns did was defend against energy attacks, and they were particularly effective at doing so.

The Flower of Evil spun again, giving birth to 360 evil angels. Saleen cast another level 11 Endless Night. That dark elemental magic was very potent and its greatest use was trapping enemies, before killing them.

Saleen was unable to kill Theisio in time and given how the pope was armed with the G.o.d Grace Staff, he would be unable to kill the pope anyway.

The strike from the Crystal Finger was blocked by the Bramble Crown, rendering it unusable for the time being, but Saleen was unable to use the Crystal Finger as well. He would thoroughly deplete his magic chords if he used it again.

Saleen turned around and pounced on the Flower of Evil, taking out his family badge and pressing it onto the divine spell.

He had not used that function of the family badge in a long time. As his level grew, Saleen was caught in such dire predicaments less and less.

The Thunder Dragon Blaster was more than enough to take care of all of his problems in battle usually.

A frightening shriek was heard from within the Flower of Evil when Saleen’s family badge was pressed onto the divine spell.

“Lightning badge! How could such a thing still exist?”

The petals of the Flower of Evil imploded violently, as it intended to hide itself in the void, but raging powers burst from the lightning-shaped gash on Saleen’s family badge, sucking the petals in piece by piece.

The petals of the Flower of Evil were torn and sounds that were usually only heard during landslides were heard.

A satisfying moan was heard from the family badge.

“Lightning badge, spare me!” A shrill voice begged from the center of the Flower of Evil.

Saleen’s family badge paid no heed as it continued to absorb the petals’ powers. Theisio was only able to escape Endless Night then. His robe was torn to shreds, revealing the long tunic underneath.

Theisio saw the Flower of Evil begging as soon as he escaped from the Endless Night. He threw the Seal of Divine Power in the air, intending to retrieve the Flower of Evil, but Saleen’s family badge opened a black hole, swallowing the flower completely.

It was the first time Saleen saw new tricks played by the badge, and he found it baffling.

It was the power of rules; specifically, rules of lightning.

In the s.p.a.ce surrounding the family badge, less than 100 meters away, lightning flashed. None of the sounds were heard. If Saleen had not already established a mystical connection with the badge, he would not have been able to see the changes.

The Seal of Divine Power wailed and dropped onto Theisio’s hand.

Theisio turned and ran. The G.o.d’s specter in the divine rune charm array broke free, but Theisio no longer felt that he had any chance of coming out on top.

What Saleen had made even the Seal of Divine Power shudder in fear.
