The magic array gradually came to be. The great head inquisitor arrived above the Separation Sea and watched the battles that took place underwater. He hesitated for a bit and ordered the Tribunal to mobilize all the s.h.i.+ps they were able to spare. He wanted to wait for Saleen to emerge.

The Tribunal’s naval force was far greater than that of the Pivotal Council. s.h.i.+ps showed up at the western sh.o.r.e of the Separation Sea. It would have taken half a day at most for them to show up where they needed to be.

The great head inquisitor had no intention of taking risks, so he simply waited for his enemy to show. Saleen needed to come out of the crevice at the bottom of the sea eventually. Saleen, on the other hand, sat in the tower and simply threw any elemental creature that rushed inside into the necklace, letting the thunder dragons feast on them.

The thunder dragons began to expand, then quickly contracted due to the pressure of the Six Element’s Heavy Water. The process repeated several times as their physical body grew several times stronger. The thunder dragons began to turn black and advanced to level-11.

Saleen guessed that the number of elemental creatures filling the entire plane must be above one hundred billion. The plane itself consisted of nothing but the ocean, and there were many more creatures to be found there than on Myers Mainland.

Those creatures had suffered pressure from the water-type element spirit and had been prevented from advancing to higher levels. As such, they were basically all below level-10. Level-11 and 12 creatures made up only a handful of the plane’s population.

Saleen had details about level-16 thunder dragons on his mind. Furthermore, due to the information acquired from Gaine, Saleen came to learn everything about even level-18 thunder dragons.

It was a pity that his thunder dragons seemed to have taken a different direction with their advancement, making them incapable of growing in the way thunder dragons usually would have.

Saleen did not mind at all, as his thunder dragons actually developed methods of creating b.a.l.l.s of light. That meant that the thunder dragons were developing intelligence.

When they advanced to level-11, all 24 thunder dragons would be able to do more in battle. They would no longer only provide energy to the family badge as they once had.

The divine persona’s aura leaked and the elemental creatures washed up at the magic array in ma.s.sive waves, charging inside without concern before being swept into either the tower or the purgatories by some ma.s.sive forces.

The magic array was left to run for six days. Saleen lost track of how many elemental creatures that his thunder dragon ended up eating. He only knew that the thunder dragons eventually became incapable of eating more, even with the help of the Six Element’s Heavy Water.

On the last day, all the elemental creatures that Saleen threw into the necklace ended up being of no use.

The water elemental creatures were then disintegrated by the Six Element’s Heavy Water, filling the necklace with the power of the water element.

Seeing that his requirements were fulfilled, he asked Nailisi, “How are things going on your end?”

Nailisi answered from outside the tower, “Master, we’ll need more time.”

Saleen thought for a bit and decided to continue capturing elemental creatures, letting his family badge absorb the energies of the elemental creatures. The number of magic beasts was far lower than the number of elemental creatures throughout the entire plane.

Saleen came to learn a lot on that trip. If it had not been for that plane, it would have been anyone’s guess as to how long it would take for his thunder dragons to continue advancing.

The great head inquisitor had waited for more than a week at the Separation Sea and had grown somewhat restless. He’d even considered that Saleen may have died and thought about sending someone in to check. As the thought crossed his mind, the Magical Element Tower burst to the sky at an extremely high speed.

The great head inquisitor did not even have time to use the Armageddon Codex to subjugate the tower before he felt that the entire Separation Sea had been considerably raised. The earth seemed to have shaken alongside it.

The ground at the bottom of the lake shook violently. Having lost suppression and then having Saleen bursting out forcefully, the eye of the sea essentially had the portal within it fully opened.

That, in turn, meant that all the seawater in the entire ocean plane gushed into the Separation Sea. Furthermore, it was done at a very high rate due to the workings of the portal.

The Magical Element Tower had been able to skyrocket from the bottom of the ten mile-deep lake right up to the sky due to riding on that force. The surface of the tower was filled with high-temperature water vapor due to friction with the lake water.

“Doombringer!” The great head inquisitor scolded loudly. While he did not know what had actually happened, he knew that Saleen had triggered yet another calamity.

The entire Separation Sea seemed to boil all of a sudden. Countless vortexes formed by water elements rose to the sky. The temporary portal of the ocean plane sent trillions of pounds of seawater into the Separation Sea.

It was indeed a disaster. At the very least, when the seawater came in, only a fraction of the creatures in the Separation Sea managed to survive.

While the Separation Sea had the word “sea” in its name, it was actually a freshwater lake. There was no way the creatures in the lake would have been able to survive in salt.w.a.ter environments, with the exception of magic beasts that had reached certain levels.

All other creatures would have otherwise been sentenced to death as soon as the seawater gushed in.

Lightning coursed throughout the body of the Magical Element Tower. The burst brought the tower to an alt.i.tude exceeding 20,000 meters. There was simply no way the great head inquisitor would be able to intercept him. He had no choice but to watch Saleen escape.

Everything below was crumbling. The Separation Sea itself sank for hundreds of meters as seawater continued to gush in. All manner of storms whipped up by water element raged and every single island on the lake sank.

Huge clouds formed in the sky. Saleen was unable to pierce through the clouds, even at an alt.i.tude of 20,000 meters.

Saleen was elated. He needed nothing more than to observe the power and rules of lightning up close, and here he was, caught in thunderclouds of such huge sizes.

The tower stopped where it was, waiting for rain and lightning to appear.

The bottom of the Separation Sea sank over 600 meters, yet the seawater level continued to rise, flooding the sh.o.r.es. It did not stop there, and the seawater continued to spread. It would reach cities near the lake soon.

There were over 10,000 demons in the city. There was also a human army consisting of over 1,000 people. Saleen was unable to disperse the population, so it was fortunate that they were several boats around. The remaining mages fixed the boats in place using magic.

The human army boarded the boats with the help of the demons. The demons, meanwhile, remained in the water, having no problem surviving in the water.

Seawater continued to gush in the direction of Daliang City. There were no mountains between the city and the Separation Sea, nothing but small plains between them and the surge of water. The gus.h.i.+ng seawater flooded northward without anything stopping it.

The eastern side of the Separation Sea was filled with mountains. The rivers flowing into the Separation Sea were immediately flooded as the water level of the Separation Sea rose, rus.h.i.+ng eastward into the Golden Plains like a huge water dragon.

There were routes leading to t.i.tan at the western sh.o.r.e. While the routes were perilous, they did nothing to stop the flood. The hills were soon turned into individual islands sitting in the water.

The south had originally been a swamp. It quickly turned into a part of the sea with the pa.s.sing seawater. The flood had only stopped about 1,000 miles away near the mountains there.

The Separation Sea continued to spread. The waves at the north had already reached past Daliang City.

The city itself was elevated 500 meters, but the surrounding lands had collapsed tens of meters, making it into a basin. When the seawater arrived, the armies at the plains were all caught in the ditch. The million-strong army of the Holy See felt like it was being swept away by a sudden calamity with no way to escape.

The Heaven Knights and the elite wardens were able to escape, but the armies of common troops were all flooded out by the sudden surge of seawater, suffering ma.s.sive casualties.
