When in the Imperial City of the Abyss, powerful ones were either trapped in the Cemetery of Heroes or the astrology tower. The elemental creature before them was the most obnoxious of creatures still capable of moving in such a desolate place.

There were actually magic arrays that were still working at the center of the city. They were magic arrays created by ancient humans to summon or create elemental creatures. Despite the place being practically a dead city, the amount of lingering elemental creatures were still terrifying.

The ones that were attacking the magic tower were earth elemental creatures: an Elemental Stone Statue Soldier. It differed from the ones that Saleen subjugated in the sense that it was a level ten creature, but it did not have a soul.

“Nice place indeed, Saleen. I’d need your help with territorial powers to capture that Stone Statue Soldier out there.”

Jason had no problem fighting such a ma.s.sive creature—about a hundred meters tall—all on his own. However, his territory was not a well-controlled one and it was far from being able to be formed into a world on its own.

If the Water Flame Territory and the Blazing Flame Territory were used there, any target attacked would be killed right away with zero chance of survival.

The reason Jason was in such a rush to craft a magic amplifier was because his territory was too powerful and difficult to control.

The ability that mattered the most to a mage was the ability to control their powers. Otherwise, a mage might be very powerful, but their powers could only be used for destruction, not creation.

If the Water Flame Alchemy Territory and the Blazing Flame Soul-refinement Territory were combined, it would have given birth to the Blackfire Spirit spell.

With the addition of a magic amplifier, the power of a spell was guaranteed while many requirements and parameters of spells could be lowered, including offensive capacity. The less offensive one’s spell was, the easier it would be to control.

The range of Saleen’s territory was incredible. When expanded, it could easily reach over a hundred miles. When the Puppet World Territory was used, the Elemental Stone Statue Soldier outside the magic tower was quickly surrounded by over a hundred thousand puppets and attacked.

The ma.s.sive Earth Battleaxe appeared in the level ten Elemental Stone Statue Soldier’s hand, which looked terrifying when wielded by an elemental creature. It was easy for Saleen to capture the Stone Statue Soldier. The creature had only been difficult to deal with due to the lack of effective equipment. The Elemental Stone Statue Soldier was too strong and only Sika would be able to fight it head on.

Any common folk who were attacked by the Elemental Stone Statue Soldier would have no choice but to evade its attacks.

At present, Saleen had a piece of equipment, which, while the attributes of the equipment were unusable, was the perfect gear for capturing things. The equipment was the huge net that the head inquisitor had used to capture Nailisi.

The Stone Statue Soldier flew into blind rage, leaping 100 meters away from the ground and expanding its body quickly, attempting to break the net.

Nailisi was bored watching from inside the tower. The net almost took her life and she hated the equipment more than anything else. Despite the Stone Statue Soldier being completely trapped, she was not amused.

If it had not been for the fact that the net was nigh-indestructible, she would tell Saleen to destroy it. Every time she saw the net, she felt as if she was being captured again. It was the first time Nailisi felt insulted since becoming Saleen’s follower.

However, Saleen was reluctant to throw the piece of equipment away. The material was peculiar. It was capable of expanding and shrinking to various sizes.

At its largest, it was capable of capturing a single-horned white whale, and at its smallest, it was capable of binding magic bugs the size of a fingernail. Saleen hardly felt any pressure from the trip to the city compared to his last several visits.

Jason and Saleen were both level ten sorcerers and were equipped with powerful gear and territories. As long as they stayed away from the Cemetery of Heroes, there was hardly anything that could pose a threat to them.

The level ten Elemental Stone Statue Soldier continued to struggle, and Saleen was completely unfettered as he opened up a sealing scroll. He chanted the words when the scroll was laid out.

A low rumble of thunder was heard, which was held back by Saleen’s territory. Even if his territory were expanded to the maximum, it would not be able to reach the Cemetery of Heroes.

The Stone Statue Soldier’s struggle weakened considerably with the thunderous rumble. The Earth Battleaxe was no longer in its hand. The scroll in Saleen’s hand started to s.h.i.+mmer with magical light.

The Stone Statue Soldier was sealed in the scroll at its weakest. A level ten being without soul was inferior to a human professional of the same level, especially when sealing skills were concerned. The Stone Statue Soldier was unable to resist.

What was most important was that Saleen’s sealing spell was level 11, and the scroll was written by Jason personally using starline paper of better quality.

Saleen used the thunderous rumble to confused the energy in the Stone Statue Soldier. While it only lasted for a brief moment, it had been more than enough. His abilities in controlling his spells were calculated in milliseconds, after all.

A few milliseconds was all it took for the sealing scroll to work.

The second Stone Statue Soldier appeared in no time. The levels of Stone Statue Soldiers of the area that Saleen ventured into were not all the same. Saleen was able to see some that were level eight.

Level eight Stone Statue Soldiers were considerably weaker, so much so that Saleen was not in the mood of subjugating them.

However, in Saleen’s territory, puppets held absolute advantage over any elemental creatures below level ten. Saleen did not waste the opportunity and released puppets to take a level eight Stone Statue Soldier in, which was sealed and thrown into a dimension stone.

The area inside a hundred mile radius was filled with Stone Statue Soldiers. Saleen had the magic tower moved with him and caught one Stone Statue Soldier after another with the net, the internal energy workings of which he broke with Thundering Sound, and finally sealed using sealing scrolls. Six level ten Elemental Stone Statue Soldiers were caught by Saleen and sealed in the scrolls. Only Saleen and Jason possessed the ability to easily capture elemental creatures of such high levels.

The net served well to limit their movements and the sealing scrolls that Jason made were very peculiar, capable of sealing their target in a very short period of time. The amount of time had originally been incapable of sealing any powerful creatures. Saleen’s Thundering Sound was capable of quickly confusing a creature without a soul, and confused creatures could be easily sealed.

Jason acquired quite a number of earth elemental creatures as they blitzed away. Six level 1p creatures had far exceeded Jason’s expectations. While elemental creatures played important roles in the magic amplifier that he was about to create, level requirements were actually low. Thirty-six level nine elemental creatures were more than enough for Jason.

Six level ten Stone Statue Soldiers were over a hundred times more effective than the 36 level nine ones.

The battles continued without any surprise. With such a territory at his disposal, Saleen only needed to hold the elemental creature’s movements back with the puppets.

When the net was spread, the fight was over. Jason and Saleen only took two days to gather five out of the six elemental creatures required. Angels of Brightness, however, were incapable of being captured in such a manner.

While Blue Ice Maidens were capable of using Rainbow, their true selves remained solid. Angels of Brightness, on the other hand, were capable of turning themselves into light. With the attributes of the net wiped, it had no means of suppressing the ability.

Jason never thought he would be able to gain so many, and he had resorted to continue working hard on crafting sealing scrolls. Other mages might not have even been able to splurge like that with scrolls, but Saleen was able to acquire huge amounts of starline paper, and even starline cloth, in the city.

Water, earth, and dark elements were abundant in the Imperial City of the Abyss. The density was so high that Jason was reluctant to leave. He began crafting the magic amplifier in the city itself.

A magic amplifier was a.s.sembled in sets, which made it possible to separate the crafting processes. Jason crafted his gear in the Magical Element Tower while Saleen focused on dealing with Angels of Brightness outside.

Saleen needed to work with Nailisi to deal with Angels of Brightness. For some unknown reason, the number of level ten elemental creatures grew considerably on the trip, but none of them possessed souls.

When compared to the leaders of elemental creatures in his elemental badges, there was next to no chance the creatures could grow further.

Angels of Brightness were capable of moving at frightening speeds. Saleen put his territory away and barged into the area controlled by one, and over a dozen quickly came. While the Imperial City of the Abyss had long been destroyed, the elemental creatures continued to protect the place throughout the generations.

Anybody who attempted to invade the city would have to fight life or death battles with the elemental creatures.
