She was moving from tree to tree mostly, as her feet continued to sprint on the muddy ground. Lu Meili was using its trunks as a defence. However, with one tree disrupting her view, an opening surfaced and Long Jun did not let it pa.s.s.

'A worthy commander.'

She thought to herself with approval. Despite that, Lu Meili did not have any plan to acknowledge Long Jun's statement in any way. If she surrendered, and they got to know her background, it would not go in her favour. She also could not help but s.h.i.+ft her gaze to the rope that she was holding. 

'Does he even know how to use that?'

She wondered. Then Lu Meili shook her head as there was no need to worry about that. She preferred to get the enchanted rope back from Long Jun. 

"Woman, I am telling you, surrender! There is no way you could leave  freely." Long Jun repeated. His eyes gazing at Lu Meili with a hidden meaning in them, as he tried to get closer to her. 

Lou Mary glared at Long Jun's back discreetly.

'Stupid prince! What surrender? Just kill her. She needed to die whatever it took!'

She fumed silently. 

"Commander! Please do not show mercy. She did not show mercy when she killed Rusan!" She screamed, making sure that the rest of the s.h.i.+fters with them could hear her. 

Lu Meili looked at Lou Mary with eyes narrowed.

'So you pinned your kill to me, huh,'

she thought, lifting her chin as if challenging the other woman to try capturing her and continue with her false charade.

"I agree, Please commander! We could not let her live!" The dragon that Lu Meili just kicked said. He was glaring at her with murderous contempt just like Lou Hana had. 

As she thought about the female s.h.i.+fter, Lu Meili noticed a familiar chain flying towards her. And just like what she did before, she quickly grabbed the chain and pulled it away from the owner. 

"Big sister! Help me!" Lou Hana said. She could not accept that Lu Meili was able to get equal in strength while she was only a partial s.h.i.+fter. However, if she won't admit that she needed help, there was no way she could take down the enemy. 

Lu Meili chuckled. Who would have guessed that the two females were siblings? 

"20… 19… 18…" Lulu's voice was still making her distracted. It was just right that there were only a couple of seconds left. 

With that in mind, Lu Meili did not want to deal with them further. There was too much hostility coming from the other dragon s.h.i.+fters who were trying to capture her now, and it was just a waste of time to explain what really happened. 

"Woman, just do what I am saying." Long Jun said softly after he was able stood behind Lu Meili. He also did not let the opportunity pa.s.s, as he immediately put the enchanted rope around her. 

Before Lu Meili could reply,  Lulu's voice spoke, "Scan halted, unnecessary. Ruby pendant found. Exact location, behind you master, with the dragon s.h.i.+fter." 

With that, Lu Meili stiffened.

'Behind me? So it was with this Commander?'

She was unsure. Since that was the case, Lu Meili will not move rushly. 

"Good." Long Jun released a deep breath. He honestly did not want to be with any confrontation with his cousin-in-law. 

'Where is Long Cheng when I need him?'

He asked silently.

Though Lu Meili had his cousin's strong scent, Long Jun only a.s.sumed that it was from the hotel incident. Not because Long Cheng had been with her earlier.
