Chapter 378

"Another sorceress!"

Realized that he was outnumbered and at a disadvantage, sweat rolled down on the deer-antlered sorcerer's back.

This was bad. He did not only disrespect a sorcerer… the said Sorcerer was a blood-l.u.s.ting Demon Hunter… On top of that, he was a Dark Demon Hunter.

Dark Demon Hunters were terrifying monsters who conquered foreign worlds, leaving seas of corpses behind!

This was bad… bad indeed!

The deer-antlered Bright Sorcerer anxiously started to think of a way out of this.

If he handled this lightly, things could really go out of hand.

Then, he noticed that all the horrified, angered citizens' eyes were staring at the fireball in his hand.

Fireball?

Suddenly, the deer-antlered sorcerer roared cheerfully. "Hahaha! I'm a sorcerer from Lilith Sorcerer Academy. I'm here to congratulate Lefay on her marriage. There is no need to panic. Hahaha…"

Then, he quickly hurled the fireball into the sky.

Booom booom booom!

The fireb.a.l.l.s exploded into colorful fireworks.

"Wow…"

Children watched the beautiful fireworks in the sky in awe. The fireworks were lit by a sorcerer; thus, it was indeed quite a sight.

Then, everyone turned their eyes on the deer-antlered sorcerer again. This time, their eyes were filled with confusion.

So… it was just a mere misunderstanding?

And the fireworks. They're so beautiful. So, that's sorcery?

Grimm looked at the Bright Sorcerer in surprise.

Looking at the citizens who were appreciating the fireworks, Grimm let out a cold grunt as he suppressed his anger and leered at the Bright Sorcerer.

A moment later, the bright antlered sorcerer put up a friendly face and brought a gift box to Grimm as he stopped the fireworks.

"Hehe, O' great Demon Hunter. It's all a misunderstanding. I'm just here to light up the fireworks to lighten the mood. You know, to congratulate on your marriage."

Grimm almost burst out in laughter seeing this. He curtly received the gift box and coldly replied, "Go."

The deer-antlered sorcerer was stunned for a short while before he smiled at Grimm, Lefay, and Nina York then zoomed out of their view.

Meanwhile, several citizens pointed at Grimm and exclaimed excitedly, "Look! Grimm must be a legendary knight! He's flying! He's flying with Lord Lefay!"

In the eyes of these citizens, legendary knights and sorcerers were mysterious and powerful.

As for the actual objective comparison between the strength of legendary knights and sorcerers, it was not like how they were described in fairy tales though.

On the ground, countless crossbow-wielding knights were staring at Grimm—the perfect man with grat.i.tude.

Unlike the others, they knew what was going on earlier. They could feel they were standing at the edge of death.

That sorcerer was definitely an enemy.

Yet, the terrifying sorcerer was spooked by Grimm—he went so far as to light up fireworks to cheer up the civilians, letting go of his dignity.

This… this was so unthinkable.

Just who was Grimm? In fact, thinking back… everything about him in the past three months were filled with mysteries.

Although they had spent three months together eating and drinking countless times, no one ever saw him showing any sign of weakness at all.

However, no one treated him as their true friend. His eyes always seemed to tell the knights that were trying to befriend him that he was just a "pa.s.serby".

Turning around, Grimm held Lefay's anxious hands and smiled. "Don't worry. I'm here."

After the crazy farce, everyone purposely avoided in mentioning what had happened before and threw themselves happily in the dancing pool when night fell.
