Hylia and Leisha would travel in front. Their strength would be enough to counter the gravitational field of the moles. Like this we advanced. Our next encounter was a group of 3 moles. When Hylia and Leisha advanced The moles once again ignored Hylia, focusing their attention on Leisha.

When the moles charged Leisha immediately entered her enraged state. Her muscles bulged, and her features became more b.e.s.t.i.a.l. Thick dark brown fur grew over her body. her hands grew to a rather large state, that almost seem disproportionate to the rest of her body. Her fingers became long and thick, with large claws at the end of them. Her once pretty face became a rather grotesque wolf's head.

She howled when the transformation was complete, and met the charge of the moles. Her claws raked against her foes, shredding their flesh causing blood to flow. I carefully weaved my spells, shooting my grenades in a way that would not damage Leisha.

Ma.s.sive explosions filled the air as a mix of my grenades and Sierra's fireb.a.l.l.s landed on the moles. Their was no question about whose spells did more damage, as the explosions from the fireb.a.l.l.s directly dispersed the poison from my grenades.

Hylia danced between the moles, they seemed oblivious to her existence even as she shot arrow after arrow into them. The fight only lasted around ten seconds before the moles fell. Dust filled the air from the explosions, and as it cleared we could see Leisha happily tearing into the corpses of her prey.

Blood and guts hung from her mouth as she ate. Only stopping when she had her fill. The s.h.i.+ft of her body back into human form was not very graceful, and I was rather disappointed that her clothes remained intact. She must have spent the coins as I did for a self repairing set.

She looked at us self-consciously after her meal, but only Sierra had any sort of reaction, which was closer to curiosity than anything.

"Do they taste good raw?" she asked

Leisha nodded "Delicious, but I wouldn't recommend trying. It's an acquired taste."

Sierra put her finger on her mouth as she had a thoughtful expression on her face. "I bet you would have loved the minotaurs from the last instance."

Their conversation was a bit weird, but I could sense something that was a bit more than camaraderie from the two of them. Perhaps it was because both of them were outcasts. Maybe it was mine and Hylias influence, but whatever it was I was getting a definite lesbian vibe from them.

When I asked Hylia she laughed.

"Leave them be, It's cute. They themselves probably don't even realize it yet."

I laughed in response. No matter the circ.u.mstances Hylia would remain Hylia.

"I can't wait until you're humanoid again. You sleeping on my chest just isn't the same."

I could feel her pouting in my head "You just want to do dirty things to me."

"Don't act like you don't want it."

I could feel embarra.s.sment coming from her, but she refused to say a word after that.

The rest of the Instance did not take long to clear. Our strategy had worked out rather well. After some testing we had found that they could not detect Hylia and we started to use her as a scout.

The largest group we had encountered was a group of 5, but they did not last long. We had even tried what I called fis.h.i.+ng. We stayed out of range their detection and blasted them with spells. The moles ran around in confusion as they tried to locate their a.s.sailant. But we were not moving, so their was no vibrations for them to feel.

The boss was a larger mole, around the height of myself. It had the special ability to summon more moles, and could compound their auras. This made it impossible for Hylia and Leisha to move. However Sierra and myself had stayed out of the area of the auras and bombarded them with spells. She used her fireb.a.l.l.s on the summoned moles while I targeted the boss with my bullets.

The fight actually took a while to kill, the battle lasted a total of 30 minutes. Everyone recieved pretty decent rewards from the fight, the items we received the best we had ever gotten.

The rewards we received were intense. Perhaps the Dungeon had pity on us this time, knowing the battle we were about to enter. Or perhaps the dungeon had held back on rewards the last time we entered due to the betrayal of our comrade. Either way this time the rewards were not something that we should expect in the future.
