Anime Worlds System - 11 Goals.

11 Goals.

Drake spent a few hours doing nothing but push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, jumping jacks, squats, and running while in his training vest. The extra weight of the vest felt like nothing compared to the weight of the Testing Gate. If each side of the First Gate weighs two tonnes, then Drake has to exert about two thousand kilograms of force with each arm to open it... It's mind-boggling thinking about how Killua can push open the Third Gate since it weighs sixteen tonnes. That means he is able to exert at least eight thousand kilograms of force in each arm.

Killua is an absolute monster when it comes to strength. He isn't even a strength type fighter, he's a speed/stamina fighter!

"I'm going to add another ten kilograms tomorrow. From now on, I'm going to add twenty more kilograms each week. Thanks to Zebro's training, I'm able to lift about two hundred kilograms in each arm, but that's only for about thirty minutes." Drake whispered to himself as he finished his final push-up.

"At this rate, I won't be strong enough to open the First Gate before the Hunter Exam... I need to try harder!" Drake shouted this towards the sky. This was an open statement straight from his heart.

As Drake finished his declaration, Zebro came out of the cabin. Drake didn't hear him, but Zebro heard every word of Drake's promise. Zebro started to tear up at the dedication he felt emanating off of Drake. 'This is the reason he tries so hard... I will support him with everything I have then. Once we get closer towards the end of the year, I will try to teach him about Aura and Nen. It's the least I can do to prepare him.'

Unbeknownst to both of them, off in the distance, at the Gatekeeper's office, Seaquant heard Drake's shout and found a new level of respect for the boy. 'He came here to train to be a hunter? I may not like the kid, but he has got guts, that's for sure. Maybe I'll teach him to fight a little... Give him some advice, Hunter to Hunter style.'

(The very next morning)

As Drake woke up, he felt a smile creep upon his face. He met Killua yesterday and even got him to say that he was his friend. Today would be a good day, and it would be another day of hard training.

As Drake went downstairs after finis.h.i.+ng his morning routine, he saw both Zebro and Seaquant sitting down, eating breakfast. They both seemed to be in a good mood and were just as happy as Drake was. Drake didn't know why they were so happy, but he wasn't going to ruin the day for anyone.

"Good morning Zebro-sensei, good morning Seaquant-san, how are you two doing?"

They both looked at Drake with a smile before Zebro decided to speak, "We're doing just fine Drake, how about yourself? You look quite happy today."

"I'm doing great Sensei, thanks for asking. Zebro-sensei, do you mind if I add more weight to the vest? I'm already used to the current weight."

"Of course, Drake. Whenever you get used to the weight, add more the next day. That's what I always tell you, and it's a rule I expect you to follow. You have been gaining a lot more muscles over the past month then since you arrived here. It's like your body went from being asleep to being in overdrive. If you continue at this rate, I think you will be able to wear a two hundred kilogram vest in a month's time."

"That's the goal, Sensei. I want to push my body to the absolute limit, I need to push my body to the absolute limit. If I don't, then who will?"

"That's the spirit! Now go get the extra weights from the closet, you know which one." After that, I headed towards the closet he was talking about and got two five kilogram weights for the vest. I need the weight to be equally distributed across my body or I will do more harm than good.

After adding the weight, I spent another few hours training every inch of my body, trying to work out each part equally with calisthenics and cardio training. I want to have a perfect Strength-Speed-Stamina combination body type, combining all the categories of the training world. If I wanted to be a bodybuilder, swimmer, or runner, then I wouldn't worry about training each part of my body like this. Each of these body-types have their own unique traits and benefits, but I want to have the best qualities from each one.

Bodybuilders work on pure strength building and building up more muscle ma.s.s. They are useful for strength dependent things, but that's not the only thing I'm looking for.

Swimmers have a more well-rounded physique, but they are the middle ground, not the best.

Runners have more leg muscles and are much faster than the other two, but they lack upper body strength.

In order for me to achieve my goal of a perfectly well-rounded strength-speed build, I need to work out each muscle category. That is why I try to diversify my workouts like Rock Lee and Might Guy. I use new exercises each time or a different order to the exercises I already do. There's only one downside to all of this... I'm not a martial artist.

Martial artists are the perfect middle ground when it comes to body types. They have the same speed as a runner, the same strength as a bodybuilder, and they are as balanced as a swimmer. If I knew any martial arts, I would be training in that instead, but there aren't any good teachers in the real world near where I live and there aren't any good online courses. I would learn here in the System instead, but there's still no one to teach me. Zebro isn't a fighter, and I don't think Seaquant is either. Even if he was, he won't teach me anything.

That's why I want to learn from the Zoldycks, yeah they can be really harsh, but they are really diverse in their training. It's exactly what I need. Yeah they torture Killua, but it can't be that bad, can it? They wouldn't do that to me, right? Well... maybe they would. I'm not actually sure what they would do to me since I'm not blood-related.

Anyway, that's why there is a downside to all of this training. I don't know how to use any of the strength I have in a fight, so what's the point of training so hard? Well, I keep training hard in hopes that I will learn how to fight properly later.

Now then, back to training!
