The two Level 9 skills, Sleep Induction and Fear Induction, were enhanced by two times their original power . This was equivalent to a power of (Level)*2 seconds . Now, when Level 10 Catherine activated her abilities, the target would be subjected to 10*2 seconds of Sleep Induction and Fear Induction .

The other effect would be a loss of rationality . Each time the skill was used on the target on the same day, the target's rationality would be decreased . In the worse case, the target would lose all their rationality and become a madman temporarily . The target would only recover from this effect after 24 hours .

The Level 10 skills were the ones Zhao Yao had been waiting for . One of them was r.e.t.a.r.ded Admiration . After Fear Induction had ended, the target would admire you and completely listen to your commands for an hour .

The other skill was Faceless Monster . After Fear Induction ended, the target would turn into a kind of faceless monster and attack all the living things around it for the next five minutes . The target would recover after five minutes .

“Catherine's abilities and controlling powers have become stronger,” Zhao Yao remarked . “But there's no guarantee that she will be strong enough to fight against the alien cats . ”

After levelling up Catherine, Zhao Yao switched to the Evolution module and realized that he could evolve Catherine .

Zhao Yao selected Catherine . He realized that once he had selected her, he would be able to see Catherine's evolution progress bar . The progress that he would subsequently attain in Closers World would also be transferred to Catherine's progress bar .

“Very good . I will continue to evolve Catherine and see what the effects will be . ”

Catherine and Diana had the powers of Sleep Induction and Dreamscape respectively . These were very compatible superpowers to begin with .

This was also the reason why Zhao Yao chose to level up Catherine to Level 10 and evolve her first .

Also, it would be easier and faster to evolve a Level 10 Catherine as compared to evolving a Level 14 Diana based on their progress bars . This made Zhao Yao even more excited about evolving Catherine .

In the foggy area beyond the Cat Island, a small s.h.i.+p sailed slowly towards Cat Island .

There were four apostles on board . One of them was Lin Chen, one of the strongest apostles under Uncle Ho . He borrowed Cat King of the North's power of speed .

The other three were apostles that even Lin Chen himself was not acquainted with . He only knew that they were from the military . They were probably ace apostles as well, secretly trained to fend against the Natural Disaster apostles of other countries . They probably came as part of their training in light of the increasingly frequent occurrence of superpowers battles in international affairs . Hence, they were definitely a force to be reckoned with .

Behind their small s.h.i.+p, ten other small s.h.i.+ps followed, with hundreds of apostles on board .

There was only one thing which so many of these government apostles came to the Cat Island for . It was to confirm whether Zhao Yao was dead or alive .

All sorts of information about how Zhao Yao had met with mishap and was totally closed off from the world, even from Uncle Ho, was being spread around .

He even stopped going to Cat Wonderland, as if he vanished from the surface of the Earth without a trace .

Lin Chen said, ” Cat Island is just ahead . Most of Zhao Yao's supercats stay on this Cat Island . If we can't find him on the island, something might have happened to him . ”

Beside Lin Chen, a lanky young man with a cold glare and small eyes asked, “If something had really happened to Zhao Yao, do you guys have any means of controlling this many supercats?”

Lin Chen replied, “Those supercats have been well-trained by Zhao Yao . They are pretty easy to get along with . If Zhao Yao wasn't around anymore, they would still be able to return to and integrate back into society peacefully to become normal supercats . ”

The cold-looking young man shook his head and said, “Is this how Uncle Ho trained you guys to control the superpower realm of Jianghai? Everything is beyond our control . You guys indulge Zhao Yao too much . That's why the situation spun out of control now…

… Especially the supercats under him . Their ability to wreck a whole country is a threat to us . What if we lose control over them?”

Lin Chen glanced at the young man . He did not rebut the person as the other party was of a higher rank than him . However, he did not continue saying anything else as Zhao Yao's importance needed not be mentioned twice .

The young man looked into the distant fog . He was not unaware of Zhao Yao's background, he just had a different view of Zhao Yao's powers compared to the rest who were equally concerned . The so-called 'Oriental Beacon' may be immensely strong, but to him, that man was merely an average person who had the fortune and luck of attaining all those powers . If he had the luck of that man, he would definitely have done a better job .

“If Zhao Yao really died or went missing…” The young man narrowed his eyes and thought, “G.o.d knows how many people will be rus.h.i.+ng for those supercats on Cat Island . ”

This was the reason why he came on board to look for Zhao Yao as well . The possibility of being able to s.n.a.t.c.h a supercat was too tempting .
