"Isn't this a dog?" Zhao Yao was left speechless by the cat king standing opposite him. No matter how he looked at it, the husky did not resemble a cat one bit.

"I didn't expect a dog to be crowned as a cat king."

However, that did not stop him from accepting the mission with a smile on his face. Similarly, he turned his head to Fish Ball and accepted the same mission from him.

With two pairs of eyes, br.i.m.m.i.n.g with hope, staring at him, Zhao Yao replied, "Do not worry, leave it to me."

"At least we managed to escape." The husky exclaimed as he began running away, "Let's go Fish Ball, if not we'll get caught by that sc.u.mbag again."

However, his excitement was cut short after taking just one step forward. The husky felt something tugging at his neck. He turned around to see Zhao Yao, smiling sheepishly, with a pair of leash in his hands.

"Trying to escape?"

With a loud thud, Fish Ball had once again collapsed to the floor, bawling, and pleading, "Benovelent human, he was the one who tried to escape! He even forced me to run with him. I had no choice!" Fish Ball's entire body lay flatly across the ground as he begged for forgiveness.

"Fish Ball, have you lost every shred of dignity?" Noodle retorted, "This was the person who forced you to eat s.h.i.+t!"

"And you think you are better than him?" Fish Ball began crawling towards Zhao Yao on all fours, inch by inch. Zhao Yao soon grew tired of their incessant bickering and gave a sudden tug on their leashes, "Alright stop complaining! The two of you just stay here obediently." He then went on to retie the leashes before leaving.

"Do not try to escape. I have my eyes on the both of you."

Seeing Zhao Yao disappeared into the crowds of people, Noodle crept forward and gently patted against the American Shorthair's head. He whispered into his ears, "Fish Ball, from the looks of it, you seem pretty unhappy with me."

"How is that possible?" Fish Ball threw his fists in the air and began cheering, "Long live the king! King Hanada the invincible!"

Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! A storm of slaps descended from above and landed on Fish Ball's face. Amidst the tussle between the both of them, a series of coughs erupted and caught their attention. They raised their heads and saw the orange cat standing in front of them.

"Hero, is it you? Come and rescue us!" Noodle howled at the top of his voice.

"This is too easy."

With a snap of his fingers, Zhao Yao had earned another 40 experience points.

This process repeated a few more times. To be exact, six times. Zhao Yao had earned a total of 240 experience points by duping this pair of ignorant fools. Currently, his BOOK read lv4(4928/5000).

Zhao Yao's breathing quickened as he was bursting with joy. He was just 72 points away from his BOOK's next upgrade. However, he raised his head to a pair who seemed to had grown numb to their ordeal.

"Oh, hero, you've come to save us again?" The husky said with a voice devoid of emotions. He continued, "Thank you." After the past six experiences, he had started doubting this pair of human and cat, despite how dense he was.

Naturally, Zhao Yao could not accept any more missions from them.

Just when Zhao Yao was about to start his next round of torment in order to upgrade his BOOK, an authoritative voice rang in his ears which sent s.h.i.+vers done his spine.

"Yao Er, why are you bullying my dog?"

Zhao Yao could clearly feel a bead of sweat running down the back of his head. He turned around to see a boy, with a hair full of sticky stuff, and a young girl rus.h.i.+ng towards him.

With her arms folded across his chest, the young girl started blaring out at Zhao Yao, "Yao Er, you have grown rather bold. I never expected you to come all the way here and bully my dog."

Zhao Yao gave a half shrug of his shoulders and replied smugly, "Oh, Xiao Yu, you also came here for a movie?"

"Stop calling me Xiao Yu, it makes us sound so distant. Just address me as Aunt." Xiao Yu took a step forward and continued lambasting Zhao Yao, "I am asking you a question. Why are you bullying my dog? Don't make me complain to your mother."

Zhao Yao could feel the hair all over his body stand on ends as he muttered, "D*mn it, just my luck to meet this person here. This is troublesome."

Fish Ball and Noodle stared at this scene wide-eyed. They had never expected this turn of events. Originally, they thought that this ordeal would never end. From the looks of it, Xiao Yu's sudden appearance had put an end to his arrogant behavior.

The chubby boy, Wei Zai, was also somewhat confused by Xiao Yu's words and asked, "Xiao Yu, is that your nephew? He is really big and tall."

"Hmph, we are just distant relatives. We aren't that close." She gave Zhao Yao the most condescending glare you could possibly imagine and said, "Don't be fooled by his appearance. He is rather childish. I heard that he was still a virgin after graduating from college. Currently, his job is to play computer games."

She then turned her head towards Wei Zai and cautioned him, "Wei Zai, you must study hard and never end up like this man here."

Wei Zai nodded his head as he looked towards Zhao Yao. His eyes were filled with pity and sympathy.

Zhao Yao began trembling with anger as he announced slowly, "I am an entrepreneur. I am not unemployed…"

"We'll talk about that later." Xiao Yu pointed her index finger at her pets and demanded, "Yao Er, just take a look at how you have treated my pets. Do you think I would just let you leave like that?"

"Hmph," Zhao Yao turned his head around to a scene of Noodle and Fish Ball trembling on the floor. They were even foaming at their mouth.

"Look at them! Look at all those bubbles!" Xiao Yu roared, "I demand compensation! If not, I'll just have to inform your parents."

Zhao Yao had enough of this humiliation and retorted, "You actually trust this pair of fools? Don't tell me that you do not know that they have superpowers."

"Huh?" Xiao Yu mustered her most innocent expression and asked, "What are you talking about? I don't understand."

"Stop your pretense." Zhao Yao stretched out his arm and picked up a pebble from across the pavement, "You are not the only one with supercats, but I have to give it to you. This is my first time seeing a superdog."

Xiao Yu was in shock when she saw Zhao Yao picking up a pebble from 10 meters away. A period of silence ensued before she picked up Fish Ball and entrusted him in his arms.
