"Disappear, attack, disappear," Hao Cang was replaying the images from just now as he tried to process the information.

"The first disappearance was sudden, but he swirled into the second disappearance. What kind of power is it?" Hao Cang stared forward, but there was no one in the hall. He scratched his chin and thought, "He went into hiding after his first wave of attack. Is he waiting to use his second wave?"

"No matter what, as long as I maintain Ares's defense, he would not be able to hurt me, and I would be invincible." Hao Cang immediately instructed, "Fūjin and Destroyer, find him!"

A Siamese cat which was draped in dark fur meowed in response. Following the meow, huge gusts of wind erupted from its body and the waves it created swept through the hall.

It was apparent that the Siamese cat could alter the air current on its skin. Currently, it had turned the air into gusts of wind which swept across the hall in search of Zhao Yao.

Within a few seconds, the Siamese cat had searched every nook and crannies in the hall but still could not find any trace of Zhao Yao.

Suddenly, a gunshot erupted in the air, and the roar of the gun slicing through the air rang in Hao Cang's ears. A bullet and 12 long swords had simultaneously appeared in front of Hao Cang. However, they seemed to have been stopped by an invisible wall as they fell to the floor.

During the time freeze, Zhao Yao had taken the pistol from butler Xia and retrieved the long swords he had stashed in the extradimensional belly.

Again, Zhao Yao disappeared into thin air after a swirl.

Hao Cang's jaws tightened after the second wave of attack.

"It was the same attack followed by the same method of disappearing," However, Hao Cang noticed something, "The point at which Zhao Yao appeared from was the same as the point he disappeared into."

Even though he had no clue about Zhao Yao's extradimensional belly, Hao Cang had understood that the entrance and exit of Zhao Yao's extradimensional belly was the same place after two waves of attack.

He glanced at the Siamese cat and pointed at the point where Zhao Yao disappeared. The Siamese cat, Fūjin, let out a giant roar and sent out gusts of strong wind at the position where Zhao Yao previously appeared from.

"No?" Hao Cang gritted his teeth. Upon noticing that Fūjin had stopped its attack, he instructed, "Continue using your power until he reappears." He had an inkling as to how Zhao Yao's power worked.

After 6 seconds, Zhao Yao exited from his extradimensional belly and received a warming welcome from the huge gusts of wind.

Even with his sharpened reaction time from "Two is better than one", Zhao Yao still required time to switch to Matcha's ability of time freeze from Dust Ball's ability. The ma.s.sive gust of winded smashed against his body during the transition, and it left a large blue-black on his chest.

If he took a little more time to switch to Matcha's ability, the injuries would have been far worse.

"This hurts!" Zhao Yao stared at Hao Cang and mumbled, "Is it a coincidence or has he already discovered the weakness to Suck Me In?"

However, from his previous waves of attack, Zhao Yao had a rough gauge as to the size of Hao Cang's protective sh.e.l.l.

"It has a radius of 3 meters, and bullets cannot penetrate it. Even Elizabeth's illusion cannot penetrate it." Suddenly, Zhao Yao's lips curled into a smile. He sn.i.g.g.e.red, "But you still have to breathe."

Next, he retrieved the packets of paprika and lime power from his belly and poured them all over Hao Cang's body.

After doing this, he immediately exited by the door before switching to Dust Ball's ability and reabsorbed himself in his belly.

Even though he had no idea whether Hao Cang's attack was purely coincidental or he had already started to understand extradimensional belly, Zhao Yao did not want to take any risk. Hence, he hid from Hao Cang's field of vision before using Suck Me In.

What Hao Cang saw was Zhao Yao getting hit by Fūjin's gust of wind and got blown out of the hall and had disappeared. Before Hao Cang could react to the paprika and lime powder falling onto his body, he had already breathed in the powders. Some of them even landed in his eyes.

"What is this?" With the paprika in his eyes and nose, the surge of spiciness erupted in his body. Hao Cang let out a giant roar as his invisible s.h.i.+eld appeared from the air and swept the powder away.

This is the power he had borrowed from Ares. With his body as the epicenter, he could repel any sorts of object, radiation or attack from his body.

Even bullets, fire, and special powers could be repelled.

This included Elizabeth's power of illusion. As long as he did not want any power coming near to his body, he could repel them away from him.

He could even expand the size of this s.h.i.+eld. The s.h.i.+eld would stop any objects that flew towards it before they fall to the ground.

However, he still had to breathe, and he never repelled air flow or air particles from coming near his body.

"A*shole, how did he manage to discover my weakness!" Hao Cang began coughing incessantly as tears welled up in his eyes.

Even though paprika might sound like an ingredient used for cooking, its spiciness was not based on our taste buds but was a sensation derived from a chemical process.

If you inhaled an excessive amount of paprika into your body, you might even die.

As for lime powder, excessive inhalation of it might lead to blindness if left untreated.

"This is a brilliant strategy, but it's not enough!" Hao Cang gritted his teeth as he endured the pain. He commanded, "Ares, defend me while Lucifer heals my wounds now!"

Ares had already taken back its power and opened its sphere of s.h.i.+eld. Lucifer placed its paw on Hao Cang and lent him its super-regeneration powers.

With the power of regeneration, he started recovering from the damage he sustained from inhaling paprika and lime powder. He even managed to expel the grains of powder from his body.

"Ares power alone was already strong enough. Combined with the power of Lucifer's regeneration, I'm close to invincible."

Hao Cang covered his eyes which was flooded with tears as he sn.i.g.g.e.red, "I just have to focus on recovering now. I also have to thank you for identifying Ares's weakness. Next time, I will even repel large particulate matter using my s.h.i.+eld."

Hao Cang had never imagined such an attack from overcoming his s.h.i.+eld. However, after seeing how Zhao Yao had used it to hurt him, he would never leave such an opening again.

However, Zhao Yao would never allow him to recover in peace.
