Zhao Yao did not bother about the earthquake cat once she was safely kept inside his belly. He then switched to Matcha's power of time freeze. He turned to Baiquan and instructed him, "Take care of the café. I'll come back soon."

Zhao Yao looked at Dust Ball and said, "You must stay here. If anything goes wrong, I would enter the extradimensional belly and escape from your side. If anything goes wrong in the café, get everyone in and come to my side."

Meanwhile, spirit cat stared at the phone in front of him and heaved a sigh of relief. He thought, "I guess this should be enough."

He turned his head to face Xiao s.h.i.+ Yu. With a wave of his paws, he had slowly placed s.h.i.+ Yu on the floor with his psychokinesis power. s.h.i.+ Yu was fast asleep.

Spirit cat used s.h.i.+ Yu's phone to send the message to Zhao Yao after he had tied her to a corner on the rooftop.

"At this rate, Elizabeth would be here soon!" Spirit cat's paws swiped across the phone as he began contacting Ho Hao Cang.

On a small courtyard in the suburb, Hao Cang was knocking his fingers against the tabletop incessantly. In front of him was the butler with his head lowered. He said, "Master, according to our sources, Isabella no longer has the earthquake cat with her."

"She doesn't have the earthquake cat with her?" Hao Cang's forehead furrowed.

"Yes, it seems like she has hidden the cat. Since last night, no one has seen her alongside earthquake cat," The butler reported.

"She had hidden the cat? Does this mean that she has an accomplice?" Hao Cang reached out his hand as he started caressing Ares which was beside him. Ares tilted its head back as it rubbed its head against Hao Cang's palm.

"It seems like it."

Hao Cang squinted his eyes as he carefully considered the entire situation. Suddenly, his phone rang. A smirk appeared on his face as he took a glance at his phone.

"It seems like lady luck is smiling on me," Hao Cang told the butler. He continued, "Where do you think earthquake cat is hiding at?"

"Where?"

"Zhao Yao," Hao Cang replied excitedly. He continued, "Nekomata saw him bringing earthquake cat back to his apartment last night."

"Zhao Yao? This means that he came to the old town yesterday? It seems like Isabella was all but a distraction. She secretly pa.s.sed the earthquake cat to him, someone n.o.body would expect to be strong enough to steal earthquake cat."

"Hahaha, no wonder he rejected my offer to join the team," Hao Cang said as his eyes flickered with anger. He said, "I'm afraid this guy is not as weak as I thought. Maybe he even has the backing of the Americans."

The butler replied, "Master, I will go over now and get the earthquake cat back for you." The butler was disgruntled after failing to capture earthquake cat when it was right in front of him.

"Wait. For him to be recruited by the Americans means that he is quite strong. Bring along Four-Eyed, Golden-Haired, and Ah Tao. The 4 of you should be able to take care of him."

Lucifer which was resting on the couch heard their conversation and immediately went over to Hao Cang and typed on his phone, "Do not kill Zhao Yao."

"Don't worry, Lucifer. I will not kill him." Hao Cang a.s.sured Lucifer. Hao Cang then turned his head to the butler and instructed, "Capture Zhao Yao and bring him back here." After Lucifer walked away, Zhao Yao made a hand gesture which ordered the butler to kill Zhao Yao.

Hao Cang was displeased with the attention Lucifer had showered him with. He thought, "It is better to kill people like Zhao Yao."

"I know," The butler understood Hao Cang's intention, but he warned Hao Cang, "Master if I bring along Ah Tao, there will be no one left at your side."

Hao Cang's lips curled into a smile, and he replied, "Other than an army, do you think that there's anyone in this world that's capable of hurting me? If Ah Tao stays here, do you think I'm the one being protected or will I be the one protecting him instead?"

"I understand," The butler lowered his head as he slowly took his leave.

After one hour, Zhao Yao had finally reached the rooftop of the building. He saw s.h.i.+ Yu lying on the floor unscathed and her phone by her side.

"What the f*ck happened," Zhao Yao walked towards s.h.i.+ Yu was and took her phone. He did not understand what was going on.

Matcha started rubbing his body against s.h.i.+ Yu's face and said, "I think she has fallen asleep, but she's not hurt."

Zhao Yao was confused by the entire situation. Did the person ask him to meet here just so to trick him?

Spirit cat was in a corner secretly observing the entire situation. He heaved a sigh of relief when he saw Zhao Yao, Matcha and Elizabeth rus.h.i.+ng over. He thought, "Alright, this probably means that Hao Cang's subordinate had captured earthquake cat. This will prevent Elizabeth from being taken away from Zhao Yao."

Zhao Yao started thinking hard and finally realized what had happened, "No, this was done on purpose to lure me away."

He immediately opened his mouth and switched to Dust Ball's ability. He wanted to bring Matcha, Elizabeth and himself back to the café. Suddenly, he noticed a shadow and saw Dust Ball streaking out.

"Dust Ball?" Zhao Yao sounded extremely stern as he questioned Dust Ball, "What happened?"

Dust Ball was panting heavily as he replied, "A few apostles came barging into the café."

Zhao Yao was fl.u.s.tered and asked, "Didn't I tell you to get everyone into the extradimensional belly if there was any danger? What happened to Baiquan, Mango, and Roly Poly?"

"Baiquan, Roly Poly and Mango had all been taken away." Dust Ball was devastated as she continued explaining, "There were a total of 4 apostles and their movement was too fast. I only managed to get myself in and could not get the rest in. I couldn't save anyone."

Zhao Yao noticed how affected Dust Ball was. He calmed himself down and patted her head. He comforted her by saying, "Don't worry. It will be okay. We will get all of them back."

Zhao Yao took out his phone and thought, "Hopefully Roly Poly managed to bring his phone along."

Inside a van, there were twenty odd cats kept in cages. Baiquan had bruises all over his body, and he was sitting in the back seat. There was a footprint on his face. He looked like he was about to die.

The teenager with the rainbow-colored hair drove the car and sn.i.g.g.e.red, "This old man here is quite tough, he refused to let go even after I kicked his face."

Butler Xia who sat next to him commented, "He is just stubborn. That's all."

The spectacled middle-aged man asked, "Butler Xia, what will happen if the earthquake cat is not among them?"

"Even though Zhao Yao isn't here, I'm sure the apostle knows a little about it," Butler Xia commented as he took a look at Baiquan and the cats behind him. He continued, "Maybe there are even more supercats among them. I'm sure they'll know about the earthquake cat."

Just when they were discussing their next course of action, Roly Poly was carefully observing the four individuals. He constantly fidgeted his hand as if he was typing something in the air.

Roly Poly had turned his phone invisible and was currently communicating with Zhao Yao.
