After lots of digging, dirty secrets about Violet, her mother, King Antonio, his two twin sons Xander and Leonard surfaced up. And the evilest among them was Leonard. He was even nastier than a corrupt underground boss. He was one of the business partners of a man who was involved in trafficking. There were also police cases made on him for murder, physical abuse, mental and physical tortures, and ****. But somehow these reports were removed or pa.s.sed as a slander and the person reporting about it was nowhere to be found. King Antonio had a hand it this too. He bribed the police and media so that this news will be removed. He had hands-on killing too. From all the files Alyssa studied, she concluded that Leonard was a sick person with a shady character and should be treated soon. Alyssa thanked G.o.d that he was not in the line of throne.

Alyssa couldn't find much dirt on Xander. So, she pa.s.sed him as a good guy.

Alyssa found that her mother in secrecy was raising an army. She has an army of 38,792. Forty thousand exactly.

An army of 40,000 men will seem like a small value but it was not for Coral Bell where the Royal Army is about just 50-60 thousand. Alyssa sucked a cold breath of air. "Is my mother trying to revolt against the throne" Alyssa thought.

She saved every file and printed it. She was then in a dilemma whether to send these doc.u.ments to Mr. Hacker or not. Because these were very sensitive doc.u.ments and if it is in an enemy's hand, he can use it to usurp the throne. She cared less about her family but she did care about her country and its people. Any political fight leaves a huge damage on the normal working citizen. These fights can push a country's GDP or economic development twenty years back. And it takes another twenty- thirty-year to stabilize a country.

She opened her computer and went to her chat room. Before this, she deleted every file present on her computer completely so that even he hacked her laptop he couldn't get any information.

She typed, SRY. CAN'T TRUST YOU ENOUGH. IT'S ABOUT MY COUNTRY MAINLY.

Then she sent the money back.

Reinhard on the other side was frowning while looking her message. He could understand why he would do it. But he never found any person who will reject such a huge amount of money just for his country. His interest in her grew even more.

The next day in the school, Alyssa looked like a zombie. It was not because of her nightmares but it was because of all the secrets she knew. Well, she was caught between the Devil and the Deep Sea. On one hand, if any royal members get even a hint of what she did, mainly Leonard then she will be dead. And if Mr. Hacker somehow traced her and killed her for denying his proposition then she will be dead, again.

She somehow convinced herself that Mr. Hacker is an old evil mafia boss with yellow teeth, one eye and one hand replaced by a hook.

She was walking in the corridors when she heard Jacob's voice. She thought Dianna would be there too so she went into the room. There she found Sansa, a girl from a cheerleading squad and one of Violet's lackey was sitting on his lap and they were kissing. To say she was shocked will be an understatement. For her Jacob and Dianna's relations.h.i.+p was perfect. They were like the model couple of the school.

For a second, she couldn't find any words to say. She wanted to run away and punch him in his face at the same time. She never wanted to be the one who has to break a painful news to her best friend.

Jacob and Alyssa both of them were like statues staring at each other. Both of them didn't know what to do and what to say. Sansa smiled ay Alyssa and got down from Jacobs lap fixing her hairs and her clothes. This made them break their eye contact. Alyssa turned to leave the room but Jacob was fast and caught her by her wrist.

He dragged to the other side of the room away from the door. He said, "Don't you ever dare to tell Dianna about this."

Alyssa scoffed and tried to remove her hands from his grip. But this made him tighten his grip even more.

"Don't ignore me, Alyssa. You don't know what I am capable of doing. I can be worse than Violet."

Alyssa scoffed once again and said, "Of course you can be. I have no doubt in it and I am not afraid of you Mr. Buhr."

Jacob tightened his grip, even more, her eyes became red. He roared, "I am warning you for the last time for our friends.h.i.+p e had, don't come in between me and Dianna. I can be nastier."

Alyssa smirked, "There is no 'in-between' you and Dianna. It was over when you cheated on her. And I am not afraid of you Jacob. I am giving you one day time. Tell her about it yourself or I will tell her. Bring your best after me,"

Then she kicked him in his s.h.i.+n hard which made him loosen his grip on her hand and she left the room.

Alyssa was really stressed up with all the problems going on in her life. New problems keep on adding.

She didn't want to face Dianna. She didn't want to be the person delivering the bad news and breaking her heart. Dianna and Jacob were in a relations.h.i.+p for three years. She even thought that both of them will even get married in the future.

She was sitting on the gra.s.s at a deserted place of her school when her phone vibrated. She took it out to find a message, I UNDERSTAND.

Alyssa was confused, "Shouldn't mob leaders be making multiple threats on her, but instead he said, he understands. Is this some kind of reverse psychology?" she thought.
