"You dont see the need? Or you have nowhere to go?"

"Well umm, I think I want to stay,"

He nodded, his lips slightly curved upwards into a gentle smile then we just sat in silence on the bed not sure what to say next. Eventually I stood up and told him I was going for a walk.

I went out into the city and bought myself an iced bun and hot chocolate, I sat by a river looking out towards the people, I decided to read something since I hadnt had time to read in a while but I found I couldnt focus on barely anything there were so many thoughts flooding my head...Then I saw a protest group- they were shouting "NO MORE ARRANGED MARRIAGES!!!" Of course I agreed with them, it was wrong, but part of me didnt want MY arranged marraige to end and I dont know why…
