Chapter 24

The next day at 10 am.

Chen Mo already had breakfast and in the experience shop waiting.

Yesterday, the whole afternoon, until the shop closed at 8 pm, there didn't come any real player, all of the guests were looking for an internet cafes, they asked how much the experience shop charge and when they heard its 5 yuan/hour, they silently walked away.

Of course, the lack of a single customer in the shop is also one of the reasons for their leaving.

Chen Mo was slightly doubtful about how hard life is!

My game is to shock the whole game circle, now I only let you spend 5 yuan and you can try it in advance, and YOU ARE STILL NOT SATISFIED YET!

Chen Mo refused to give in, so the next day he opened the shop on time.

He even prepared a cup, waiting for the first guest to come, along with a cup of coffee for free.

But he also began to think about what to do if there were not enough players to come to his store for a week?

He can't collect enough player information, if Chen Mo's game feedback is not enough, it can only be tested in the App Store, modifying it while testing。

Relatively speaking, Chen Mo still likes to communicate face to face with players in the experience shop.

Outside the shop came a very tall girl while Chen Mo was thinking.

Long black hair, around 1.72 meters tall, wearing high heels. Luckily, Chen Mo was sitting, otherwise, it is estimated that he will be under pressure.

The appearance of the sister is not bad, she radiates a powerful aura within five meters around her that doesn't allow any human beings or animals to come close and even if a fly pa.s.sed by, it would have been killed.

Basically, if you give this sister a long sword, she can properly cosplay as Busujima Saeko in《Highschool of the Dead》[1].

The black long straight haired sister looked at the shop and finally locked her gaze on Chen Mo.

Chen Mo felt a chill on his back and said, "h.e.l.lo."

The black long straight haired sister asked, "This is a game experience shop? It just newly-opened?"

Chen Mo nodded, "Yes, just opened yesterday."

The black long straight haired sister looked at the empty seats, "Slightly deserted, there is no one here?"

Chen Mo was speechless.

Doesn't she knew that life is already hard, so she should never expose the truth? Isn't it obvious to see if there is anyone here just by taking a glance at the shop? Asking, asking, asking…You think that I can make someone for you?

Or do you want me to answer in this way, 'No, there are quite a few people, but you can't see them.'?

The black long straight haired sister saw Chen Mo did not respond, and asked, "Is your pricing too expensive? Too few games?"

Chen Mo replied, "5 yuan per hour."

The black long straight haired girl nodded, "Sure enough, it's more expensive than an internet cafe, no wonder n.o.body came."

Chen Mo: "…"

The black long straight haired sister's words changed a bit, "However, the environment is quite quiet, unlike some internet cafes. Alright, I just need a quiet place and play for an hour."

After the black long straight haired sister finished, she took out her ID card and place it on the counter. She then scanned the code with her mobile phone and found a machine to sit down.

The internet cafes in this world are basically self-service machines, you can do it just by swiping your ID card. All the deductions can be done directly by scanning the code with your mobile phone. It is very convenient.

Only after the black long straight haired sister had already sat down did Chen Mo react.

'Huh? Is this how my first customer came? Isn't this too unexpected?'

Chen Mo forcibly suppressed his inner joy, took the cup he prepared beforehand and made a cup of coffee and placed it on the table of the black long straight haired sister.

"This is?" the black long straight haired sister asked.

Chen Mo replied, "As you are the shop's first customer, a cup of coffee is included."

The black long straight haired girl's brow slightly raised, "tsk tsk tsk, You opened yesterday, but the first customer came today, Manager, you really are miserable, sigh… "

Chen Mo, "…I'll take back the coffee."

Black long straight haired sister is happy, "Don't, leave it there. Manager you look handsome, how can you be so petty? "

Chen Mo, "Oh."

Chen Mo sat back at the counter on the management side of the experience shop, he took a look at the ident.i.ty information of the sister.

Wen Lingwei, 21 years old.

This age is most likely be a student at the nearby university, and may be a soph.o.m.ore or junior.

She looks like a quiet and tender girl, how can her words be so mean? I guess it's because she looks good, so everybody around her is used to her….

Just now, Wen Lingwei's mean tongue made Chen Mo's first impression of her to be not very good, so Chen Mo did not continue to pay her any attention, instead he continue to do his own thing.

However, it is good to have his first player, Chen Mo was still very happy.

Wen Lingwei turned on the computer and there was only one game on the desktop, the icon was quite interesting, a dirty hand came out of the ground and a small flower is being held by it.

"Plants vs Zombies?"

Wen Lingwei felt that the name was somewhat like Guan Gong[2] fighting against Qin Qiong[3], which seems not to be very harmonious. But the name made her curious on how can a plant fights against zombies.

Double clicking the icon to start the game.

The logo of the Thunder Game flashed past.

Soon, a loading map was displayed in front of Wen Lingwei. The center of the picture was a road, on the right side of the road had many zombies breaking through a wall, and on the left side of the road, various plants are waiting.

The whole graphic was cartoon-ish, although the zombies looks ugly, they don't feel particularly disgusting, and the plants are very round and have human-like features and they are even somewhat look cute at the start.

"Hey, this might not be bad."

Wen Lingwei was surprised, she thought that this new experience shop and its unknown game designer couldn't make any decent game. As soon as she entered the game, she got a little attracted.

The whole graphic UI were full of various zombie-related elements, and numerous UI styles and the tombstone was very close. However, the tombstone didn't appear abrupt, but rather it fit together with the big trees, houses and so on at the background.

A pop-up interface prompted Wen Lingwei to register a Thunder game account.

Wen Lingwei frowned, she felt it a little bit troublesome, but she still honestly registered. But she didn't fill in her mobile phone number and ID number.

After registration, Wen Lingwei clicked on the top of 【Start Adventure】 and entered the story mode.

Along with a low-pitched laughter, a zombie's hand suddenly came out of the ground in front of the tombstone, which frightened Wen Lingwei.

"…Really a bad taste." Wen Lingwei complained and then entered the game.

The entire screen was a large area of ground, which looks like the backyard of a house. A green lawn in the center spreads from left to right, accounting for about one-fifth of the entire open s.p.a.ce.

The tutorial was very simple, an arrow appeared on the screen, prompting Wen Lingwei to click on a card in the upper sidebar. The card shows a green plant called the Peashooter.

Wen Lingwei clicked on the Peashooter and then planted it on the lawn as prompted.

At this time, a small sun floated down from the top of the screen. Wen Lingwei clicked on the prompts and collected 25 points of sunlight.

When Wen Lingwei planted the second peashooter, a zombie appeared, along with a “Wu Wa Wu Wa” sound, the zombies began to limp along the green s.p.a.ce towards the two pea shooters.
